I’m the IT manager of RDH Building Science Inc., a multidisciplinary consulting firm specializing in building performance, durability, and resilience. We offer engineering, architecture, and building science services for new and existing buildings across North America.

What challenge were you trying to address with Microserve?

We needed help providing IT services to our US and Canadian locations.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Microserve has onboarded our fleet and users and moved our on-premise GPO to Microsoft Intune. The team has set up Microsoft Intune, including packaging software, policies, profiles, and Windows Autopilot. Microserve has done the major heavy lifting, and I’ve been there for support.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 10 teammates from Microserve.

How did you come to work with Microserve?

Someone referred Microserve to me. I chose them over other IT service providers because they were close to my geographic location, their pricing fit our budget, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Microserve from July 2023 to July 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Microserve has helped us get our 330 users online with new laptops, software packages, and support through their help desk within a few weeks.

How did Microserve perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve communicated with Microserve through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps. The first project manager was rough, but since the change, it has been great, and the team has delivered on time. Moreover, they’ve been really receptive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love Microserve’s communication and willingness to change and adapt to us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although there are always things that could be done better, it’s the blind leading the blind in our case. We didn’t have any documentation left over from the previous MSP, so we’ve had to go fast to provide what we could give.
