BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a product manager in a manufacturing company that produces air handling units and other ventilation devices. The name of the company is ATREA.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire MeguMethod, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop a special controlling app for our ventilation devices in a very huge development project (hundreds of flats) in the czech capital Prague. The aim was to create an app that would be very user-friendly and easy to work with. MeguMethod fulfilled the assigment perfectly. We created an app which is now being used daily.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

MeguMethod was recommended us.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

First we had a kick-off meeting where we all got to know the main aspects of the project. We introduced our ideas to our colleagues from MeguMethod and they started to work on the design of the app in Figma software. After that we had 2 meeting where we agreed on the final design of the app and MeguMethod started to program the app itself. When it was done we did some beta testing and then we were happy to release the app.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had 5 persons from the vendor´s team. A designer, a project lead, 2 programators and a sales manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Unfortunately not. The app is not freely downloadable.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager was really easy to communicate with (and he is still very easy to communicate with, because we are working on anotther project). We used cellphones, emails and Microsoft Teams. The project manager of MeguMethod was much faster in replying than me and my colleagues from ATREA. I kind of feel sorry that we were actually holding MeguMethod back a bit. They would have definitely needed shorter amount of time to finish their work if we were quicker in replying :).

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their mobile app developer skills blew me away! They really know what they´re doing. Also, as I mentioned earlier, they are easy goinga and easy to communicate with. Furthermore, whenever a problem occurred, they were willing to help as soon as possible.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not from my point of view.
