Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Founder and Artistic Director of my company and oversee all aspects of the business. We are located in Melbourne and produce on average around four large scale events per year. I have a background in marketing and for a long time I did my own marketing, but then decided to reach out to a digital marketing agency to handle my social media - it was one of the best decisions I've made for my business recently.

I hired Megaphone marketing to work with me on one major event, they were to manage all aspects of our digital marketing campaign. I was addressing a business opportunity as it was the largest event I ever had worked on and had the possibility of multiple repeat events.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to promote the event in a new and exciting way and bringing in new audiences. I anticipated more growth and awareness.

I had heard about Megaphone marketing through a friend and learnt that they are leaders in their field and a very well established organisation. I considered three companies when making my decision but went with Megaphone due to their appealing statistics and friendly account managers.

What was the team composition?

I worked directly with Lauren Oakes the CEO and Kirsty Stekel, my assigned account manager. They were both absolutely fantastic and their collective knowledge and experience of digital marketing is phenomenal.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was overwhelmed with the success. Lauren Oakes and Kirsty Stekel worked on my campaign and I had superb results with all of my ads and the major campaign was a huge success. I loved being able to talk to Lauren and Kirsty along the way about different marketing questions and was always given really good advice. I can't wait for my next major campaign so I can work with them again!

Very effective. They were super responsive and always returned my emails and calls within the hour. I knew they were very committed to delivering great service and I felt very confident in their ability to manage our campain.

The ease of communication. The confidence they have in their brand, product and workflow. The results!

Gym and Fitness is an eCommerce retailer of gym equipment for home and commercial use. I manage the marketing team responsible for online & offline marketing initiatives, as well as the marketing and maintenance of the companies digital assets.

After having tested the waters of social advertising in-house, we saw scope to scale our paid social channel. We wanted to do this quickly and effectively, which we just didn't have the resources or expertise to handle in house.

What were your goals for this project?

Our primary objective was to scale reach and revenue at a pre-determines ROAS goal. Our secondary objective was to ensure that each and every ad provided value to those who saw them.

After having met with a number of other vendors, we engaged Megaphone due to their expertise, value for money and awesome team.

After an onboarding process to ensure that Megaphone understood our brand and what assets we had available, Megaphone set to work, strategising our ads across goals, audiences, channels (Instagram, Facebook, Audience Network) and creatives. Working with our in-house team Megaphone were engaged from top level conception through to hands on platform execution, producing a number of key campaigns.

All interactions have gone through Tony and Pariss, our 2 account managers at Megaphone for the majority of our partnership.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Megaphone have managed to not only meet but exceed our ROAS KPI's at almost every months progress report. Each month ads are discussed, adjusted, added and removed to ensure we are hitting our key objectives.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Having worked with Tony and Pariss for over a year now, we have established an excellent understanding of capacity and expectations. Design tweaks have been taking on board and implemented in subsequent campaigns. All communications have been via email and our monthly meetings which works for our set up.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Besides their ability to meet our objective month in month out, I am most impressed by their ability to produce creative solutions to briefs. To top this off, they are able to continue to provide the same standard of quality for briefs that are now less complete than they once were, which leaves our team to focus on other areas knowing that Megaphone have our paid advertising covered.

Megaphone have been outstanding at getting up to speed quickly with my brand image, tone of voice and target market. Every proposed Ad and marketing initiative (including a competition which garnered more than 3000 emails) sent through consistently hits the mark and requires minimal edits - something I appreciate as a time-poor 'one woman show'! They achieved consistent sales and significantly increased my brand awareness in a very short space of time.

The communication was open, consistent and professional on both sides.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I loved their innovative ideas around creative that 'stops the scroll', marketing initiatives that delivered results and running a wide-reaching competition that saw my email list grow in excess of 3000 potential customers.

Very effective. The Megaphone team, no matter who we have dealt with, have always made themselves very available, and communicate results, and what is needed to improve results, very clearly and effectively.

The team has always gone above and beyond. There is no request too small, or question too insignificant for them to provide their expertise and knowledge.

There have occasionally been some more technical issues that required fixing, however the team have always jumped onto them in order to have them resolved as quickly as possible.

We initially increased leads so dramatically that we had to pause the campaign and hire additional staff to handle the increased workload. The results have been astounding.

We worked with a couple of graphic designers before we found a result that really suited our brand; however, this was a very easy process and resulted in us achieving great designs that were on-trend with our brand.
