I'm the Co-founder and COO at CarGuru, a platform for the management, automation, and control of car fleets.

For what projects/services did your company hire MedRec Technologies?

We engaged MedRec Technologies to develop our mobile application—which had been working as a web app—using native languages to improve its flow and offline mode.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to improve the app’s performance and UX even with a poor internet connection. We also wanted the app to be compatible on a variety of iOS and Android devices.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for app developer and spoke with several companies before choosing MedRec Technologies. During our first contact, we talked to Rajeev (VP Engineering/CTO, MedRec Technologies) and Vinayraj (Mobile Technology Head, MedRec Technologies). They had good past app development experience and would handle the project in a professional manner.

The team has developed two native iOS and Android apps.

I work with four people from MedRec Technologies.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app is very useful and several of my clients operate it without issue.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager is easy to communicate with; we talk almost every day. The team provides updates via Skype and Trello.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team went above and beyond to achieve these positive results. Not only did they correct a previous developer’s mistakes, but they helped us understand what we wanted needed to do.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They should improve their QA process. They needed to test the builds more thoroughly—particularly for iOS—before delivering them.

I am the CEO and Creative Director of Erase All Kittens - the first game designed to inspire young girls to code, whilst teaching them professional coding languages, like HTML.

For what projects/services did your company hire MedRec Technologies?

Our website needed a sophisticated payment and login system and also needed to be made compatible with all browsers, as the first version only worked well on Chrome. We didn't have any in-house engineers, so we decided to outsource the entire redesign and build.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was for more people to subscribe to our game, and purchase the full version. We also wanted the game to be working on all browsers, and for it to be easy to create a system where large numbers of accounts can be automatically generated.

How did you select this vendor?

I met the CTO, Rajeev, after placing an advertisement on LinkedIn. He seemed to be the most skilled, professional and friendly applicant I interviewed. I decided to hire him after the first meeting.

Describe the project in detail.

Once we selected MedRec Technologies, they went through exactly how they thought our website and game could be improved. I was impressed at their knowledge in the fields of engineering and UX, as well as their attention to detail.

They worked on the new build and UX/UI, including us in every step of the process.The new payment system included PayPal, a more complex 'Gift' option, and a login system created from scratch. The CTO also created accounts for specific schools, which were required by schools who approached us - he was very quick and reliable with these extra tasks.

I served as the main point of contact. Our team consists of three co-founders and two employees.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've seen more individuals subscribing to and purchasing Erase All Kittens. The work has also garnered a lot more interest from schools.

As a result of working with MedRec Technologies, we are now able to partner with global distribution companies, such as Microsoft Education and CoderDojo as multiple accounts can be created easily. Our game has won six global awards and we are very happy with how professional and well-designed our new website is.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was absolutely flawless. They had fantastic communication, provided quick iterations, and were both friendly and professional.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed with MedRec's extensive knowledge of website design, user experience, and optimisation. I was even more impressed by the standard of communication and complete professionalism offered by the company, at all times.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I have been happy with their work every step of the way. We will definitely hire MedRec Technologies again in the future.

I am a former robotics designer at an automotive software company. We focused on bringing immersive technologies to driverless vehicles.

What were your goals for this project?

We hoped to produce a fully functional and stable firmware.

We interviewed a half-dozen companies but selected MedRec Technologies because of their communicative nature.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

MedRec Technologies developed a natural language processing bot that delivered audio feedback to drivers. They also connected the newly developed hardware to a cloud system so that third-party devices could access the data.

What was the team composition?

The MedRec Technologies team consisted of one lead developer, three senior developers, two junior developers, and a product manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We were extremely satisfied with our project’s outcome, a result of MedRec Technologies’ strong development and project management skills.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Both teams used Trello to keep tabs on the progress of every individual.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We initially admired their communication, but their skill set was equally impressive.

I cannot pinpoint anything that required improvement.

Rajeev managed each stage of the project right from the requirement gathering, timely communication and demonstration.

They think outside of the box. They are also communicative and dedicated.

can't think of any so far, probably they should expand themselves more in the country as they have got the potential to do.

Our objective was to deliver a fully functional, stable, and bug-free iPad app.

We met through a friend and had a couple of phone calls before hiring the team.

MedRec Technologies contributed mobile development support to help us build our iPad robotics app. They worked with computer vision and AI to create the object recognition software. The app lets users control the velocity of robots.

Our project was a success. I fully recommend the MedRec Technologies Team. They are very professional and kept communication going at every stage of the project.
