Learning and using MDB's classes have been a breeze, providing an intuitive and user-friendly experience for our development team. The customization flexibility allowed us to design four distinct themes effortlessly, giving VisionStream a unique and polished look that aligns perfectly with our brand.

For the original product, I was hired as Director of Marketing for a SaaS startup. They kept asking me why their sales CRM wasn’t being shown in any of our marketing materials. If you saw it, you would know why. I decided, that in order to do my job effectively, I had to tap into my knowledge of product, front-end development, and UX/UI.

Seeing bootstrap as an efficient route, and being so fond of Google’s material design library, I found myself on the MDB website. After a decade, I still use MDBootstrap for my company's CRM sales, my personal website, and other projects.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The primary example, we ended up on the Inc5000 list for fastest growing companies 3 years in a row, definitely the combined efforts of sales and marketing (and I imagine the reskinned sales software).

After the reskin of the system was complete, it was exponentially easier to use in terms of training new hires(sales and customer service), training new users, and retaining the users we had.

It was wonderful. Everything was handled professionally and in a timely fashion.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I explored in depth to find a solution that fit my skillset (I am not a "real" programmer). MDB was the perfect fit. Their website perfectly shows how everything can work with code samples and testing environments. Even the community is great.

Are there any areas for improvement or something MDBootstrap could have done differently?

Based on my experience, not really. I do think it would be nice if they had a tool to remove unused code for those of us who are not familiar with super-optimized JS libraries such as React and Vue.

The websites have been completely redesigned. The MDB templates partly served as inspiration. It was relatively easy to create prototypes and test functionality. After the prototype creation phase, we were able to implement our ideas 1:1.

However diving deeper into MDB is some goal i plan to achieve for a longer time. This means customizing MDB (colors, paddings/margins, fonts) and extending some components. Some parts of that goal i have managed to work. Some not. 

It gets more complex for me when you have to use a lot of tools, which i am not familiar with.
