MAYOCOO is good at working on our project, but they can also take on ad-hoc jobs. Their work is mainly inside the information and communications technology sector, but they can also work outside of it, which is helpful for us.

The MAYOCOO team should talk to the client more in the beginning to clarify job requirements. They should also include all of their services in a briefing so that customers looking for services they provide can work with them.

I am a Managing Director at Kilimanjaro Treks Company. The company is situated in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. We organize and hosts tours for safaris and trekking Mt. Kilimanjaro. In the backyard my role is to make sure everything is executed at required standard services giving our clients best experience in Tanzania.

Operating a tour company is an open book opportunity. I had in it mind to start a tour company to exploit the best of natural heritages in Tanzania. But an online presence was the base of everything I wanted.

We found Mayocoo company and hire them for my job. I needed to advertise types of tours I offer, itenaries, different destinations I can reach etc.

What were your goals for this project?

Me and my fellow directors wanted to receives mails, quotes, enquires and bookings for different tours available in our country.

We wanted to show our clients that we are best and reasonable competitors, so we needed a website that will advertise our qualities, values and standard services we offer.

We requested proposal from four different companies, Mayocoo was among these companies. So we compare the qualities of proposals by looking into their methodologies to achieve our purpose.

We found Mayocoo to have a best approach. The case studies from Mayocoo's proposal show how far their experienced in designing tour operators' websites.

After accepting project proposal, we held a meeting with Project Manager from Mayocoo to discuss project goals, scope and requirements. One week later they came up with project handout containing sitemaps and page flows.

We reviewed and approved. two weeks later they came up with landing page design, we had to refine the design and continue to the next pages design. My role was to make sure the design matches the our goals and expectations.

We started wit PM, The two programmers added later, followed by content writer later, and then digital marketing specialist came later.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After we launched a website, a month later we started to receive inquiries and quotes. 2 days did not pass without a single contact. Few months later we organize six trips in Mt.Kilimanjaro.

Until now we have conducted 17 tour trips with 43 clients. I can say our expectation are sustainably favored. We have some reviews, good reviews about the service we offer.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had meetings every week with progress reports respectively. We used emails and dropbox accounts to share documents. We also used calls (video whatsapp calls) to adjust small changes. I can say we had a satisfied and effective timeline.

I might say the experience they had was unique and mostly opened up our ideas in dark. I was impressed with level of skills they possessed. Effective timeline was quite pleasing. PM was a man of his word, I liked how he handled our project.

We wanted to reach out to our audience for service deliverance. We wanted to brand the health services we offer. We had been an outstanding health institution for years but the rest of the Tanzania and world did not aware of our elegance. Our interest on having a website to solve these needs came in.

We had three companies to decide which one should take our project. We had to look for a more experienced company in game, and we found MAYOCOO in the first place. The quality of recommended case studies website they built before and the price for website design were deciding factors.

After selecting a Mayocoo, they started at collecting the information from us about how and what a website should be. Then they refine these data collected and came out with sitemaps and primary page flow chart.

Then they came with a landing page design, we took a suitable window of time to refine the design and then they move to primary & secondary page design. We took a period of time to review to the workdone until final launch.

My job was to approve the quality of deliverable of the project, communicating with MAYOCOO on what should be accomplished precisely in their design process.

There was a project Manager, two developers and one content marketing specialist. PM oversee the project and often communicate to us. developers for design and content specialist for writting content for the website.

Within two months we received an increase of 50% appointment. 20% increase in calls and 15% mails. Our customer care department notice a 25% increase in number of patients requiring our health care system.

This was quite a sudden cheerful in life serving process. We even started to receive award of quality of services we offer.

We had meetings with PM every weeks to review work progress. We used emails to send and received updates of the project progress.

The last month of the design process, our vendor launch a site and we revise the progress through a site-link provided from vendors servers.
