Please describe your company and your position there.

I am COO of Sadhana Yoga & Wellbeing, a London-based centre offering yoga and fitness classes in our 2 large studios, as well as wellbeing therapy in our treatment rooms. I am also COO of its sister-company Sadhana Live, a yoga, fitness and wellbeing online platform.

For what projects/services did your company hire Maya Digital Marketing Agency, and what were your goals?

When the pandemic hit, we had to be extremely reactive and transfer all our in-studio activities to our newly built online platform. Our goal was to convert as many of our in-studio clients to online clients, which required a complete digital strategy make-over.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After approaching a few digital agencies, we opted for Maya for their ability to provide a complete service, from creating a marketing strategy all the way to implementing it. We also found that it was very easy to connect with the owner, Eduardo.

We explained what our vision was, and Maya presented us with an innovative digital marketing strategy which consisted of social media, email marketing campaign (using Mailchimp), web development and paid ads. As we developed, Maya later helped us integrate a CRM (Hubspot) to better understand our clients through analytics.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with Eduardo, our account manager, and asked him to manage 3 part-time freelancers to cover web design, social media scheduling and graphic design / branding.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Maya grew our Instagram account by over 200%, our most successful marketing campaigns generated over 2000 subscribers to our online platform. Our best performing email campaigns had over 61% open rate and over 43% click through rates.

They always delivered on time, their communication is great, and the team enjoys working with them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had 1:1 weekly meetings and a monthly strategy meeting with myself, the CEO, and key members of the team. They’ve been very responsive, but mainly proactive about their approach.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Maya team is dedicated beyond duty, always available and helpful. They managed our digital marketing in its entirety, which meant we could focus on the operations. As well as being very professional, they were also lovely and fun to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The integration of Hubspot with our live streaming online platform took a bit longer than anticipated, but I put this more on Hubspot selling us unrealistic integration timings...
