What challenge were you trying to address with Matrix Internet?

We needed to create a comprehensive booking system for a transportation company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Matrix Internet was responsible for the full-stack development of a custom booking system for a transportation company. This included both the frontend and backend components, as well as integrating the platform with existing third-party systems like payment gateways and scheduling APIs.

The system included features such as schedule management, manual booking override, reporting dashboard, and user permissions.

Three team members were involved in the project.

How did you come to work with Matrix Internet?

I found Matrix Internet through a friend who was working for them. They provided a quick response, and their showcase example was a perfect fit for the work I needed.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February 2024–May 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The client was satisfied with the agile development deliveries and functional solutions. He was involved in every aspect of the booking system and the solutions we provided to his manual overrides to schedule.

How did Matrix Internet perform from a project management standpoint?

Felipe (Project Manager) was the project's biggest asset. He was very knowledgeable and handled our requests professionally. We communicated via email and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Matrix Internet team was easy-going, accessible, supportive, and knowledgeable.

I don't think there's anything they can improve on.

I’m the managing director of an event promotion company focused on festivals and events in Ireland.

What challenge were you trying to address with Matrix Internet?

We needed a website that delivered an excellent user experience and was intuitive for the end user.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Matrix Internet has created the website from start to finish, including discovery workshops, audience mapping, SEO, design, branding, and support. We’ve designed two websites with them: one with a complex event search function and an interactive area for organizers, and another simple WordPress brochure site.

The complex event search function includes an interactive map with the ability to search for events based on location, accessibility features, and specific interests. Organizers can submit events, which are approved by admins, and their visibility is improved based on the package they select.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with around 10 teammates from Matrix Internet over the years.

How did you come to work with Matrix Internet?

We found them through a Google search. We chose Matrix Internet because they were responsive and friendly. They had a good team with the expertise we needed, focused on UX, and we liked the websites they created for other organizations.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2016, and the engagement is ongoing. I still use them for support of the current website.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Matrix Internet has produced an attractive and functional website that has led to work with a high-profile government agency. The business has also attracted the attention of a government agency, helping the company succeed beyond our initial ambitions.

Their project management is excellent. They deliver on time and within budget. We communicate through in-person meetings, workshops, and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Matrix Internet team is lovely to deal with, and they feel like an extension of our team. They’re not afraid to challenge us and push us to be creative in our objectives while keeping us within budget.
