The project management was highly organized and effective. They used Agile methodology with a detailed Kanban board to keep the project on track. In terms of deadlines, they consistently delivered milestones on time. Their adherence to the schedule was impressive and ensured the project stayed on track.
Regarding responsiveness, they were very attentive to our needs. They were always quick to respond to our queries and made necessary adjustments promptly. Their proactive communication and willingness to accommodate our feedback made the process smooth and efficient.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most about this company was their commitment to meeting deadlines and their excellent communication. They always kept us in the loop with regular updates and were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Their ability to understand our needs and adapt accordingly makes the whole process smooth and efficient.

Are there any areas for improvement or something MasterDynamix could have done differently?

Overall, our experience with MasterDynamix was very positive. One minor challenge we encountered was occasional language barriers, which led to some misunderstandings in communication.  Alex did a great job translating where needed.

We are a geospatial data provider to insurance and real estate industries. I'm the CEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with MasterDynamix?

We had to build entirely new data architecture from the ground up, and we needed a firm that could help us do that.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Primarily, they’re a Ruby shop and our backend developer. They develop our PostgreSQL GIS databases, they move data into usable formats, and they help us process geospatial data. They also built our API and established routines that move data into that API. Beyond that, they've done some frontend work for our website.

What is the team composition?

Altogether, we've worked with about seven individuals from their team. Their owner is involved in our account, but we also have a project manager, three developers, and a GIS specialist.

How did you come to work with MasterDynamix?

We did some work with their owner before he started MasterDynamix. We liked their work, and we kept working with him after he established his company.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent close to $300,000 over the course of our relationship.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2018, and the work is ongoing. I believe we were one of their first customers.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're trying to build something very complicated, and their problem solving was critical to get us where we are today. Their work is top-notch, and we're very happy with everything they've done for us. We've doubled our spending with them this year, and we really rely on them.

How did MasterDynamix perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through Slack and Jira. They're very good with documentation, and they keep us on task. Their level of communication is a key reason we continue to work with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm most struck by their efficiency, creativity, and responsiveness. They know our goals, and they build to those goals. There is a lot of nuance in their process, and they develop better products than a team that sticks to specifications. We appreciate how involved they are, and they're so much better than most development teams I've worked with. They're willing to try new things, and they give us options. They never tell us no; they tell us how.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They don't want to let us down, so sometimes they don't tell us when we're being unrealistic. We'd like to know if we've given them too much, and they're getting better at sharing when we've overloaded them. We've come a long way, and their owner is one of the most creative developers I've ever met. It's difficult to find someone that creative, and we consider him a real gift.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Spend time discussing your business goals. The project will only be as good as the effort you put into it, so have ideas and be involved. The more input you can give them, the better they will do. They understand business very well, so give them that insight.

I am the vice president of Bigfish field CRM, I oversee the product orientation, operations and strategy.

For what projects/services did your company hire MasterDynamix, and what were your goals?

Our CRM was created by a previous team of poorly qualified developers, we then decided to hire MasterDynamix to deliver a functional version of the CRM on the market. MasterDynamix had to solve a number of issues on a very badly written code. Then they started on the development of new functionalities. The work delivered is of high quality.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We shortlisted agencies based on their presence on the European continent. MasterDynamix CEO Aleksandr, was exceptionally professional and answered all of our questions with a lot of transparency and competence. Our team picked Masterdynamix unanimously because of their past projects and good online reviews, which was confirmed by the interview

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of work included:

• Fix the previous agency's bugs and clean up the code base to build on a good quality code. This was achieved rather quickly, even if there was some pretty complicated bugs to identify and solve
• Work on the development of 8 new functionalities to be able to launch the product on the market: a calendar, an optimize subscription flow, a smart sorting and a tag functionality, a reliable import/export functionality, a task management dashboard etc

We are working with 2 back-ends, and 1 front-end.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since working with MasterDymanics, we saw the bugs complains of our main test client almost disappear. The agency is also capable of advising us on technical points. They are not simply executants, they are very involved in our product.

MasterDynamix has a very ethical and professional project management style. Communications were always swift with them, and our questions were always answered quickly. The team posts everyday their reports, and each task has a very good follow-up.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Definitely great ethics, transparency and honest collaboration. As well as great professionalism and competence. I'm very satisfied to work with this agency and I hope we have a great collaboration building a great tool, they can also be proud of building.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We encountered one problem i reported to them, and their response was very quick, they also suggested new project management rules. I was very impressed by that.
