Marvel Marketing completed a new e-commerce platform on Shopify for us and one key deliverable was they had some specific design specs that we wanted to make it easier for our customers to check out. They also help us with or social media marketing on all platforms as well. Marvel Marketing handled the task great and always kept us in the loop with timelines, etc.

Our e-commerce platform is very easy to navigate now for customers to use and we are receiving a lot of online orders than in the past.

From what we needed done, I cannot find anything they could have done better. If anything they were waiting on me to complete some things before they progressed so that would be on myself.

We found Marvel Marketing on Google. After meeting with their team, we decided to hire their company to redesign our website.

Our original meeting highlighted the areas of improvement for our website. We then signed our agreement and had the Marvel Marketing team redesign our website. After the redesign was completed, we reviewed the website and asked them to perform minor changes/updates. Once the updates were completed, the final web design was accepted by our company and the project was completed!

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the redesign, we immediately saw an increase in traffic and received many compliments on the new look and feel of our website. We were very pleased with the end result!

The communication was great! Always on point and never delayed. They used TRELLO to manage the project which was the perfect hub for all of us to communicate throughout the entire process. We also had a great time meeting their team on ZOOM. They were very kind and helpful relating to all aspects of their services.

We were very impressed with the way that Marvel Marketing went above and beyond with its services. We had tried many of their competitors and would never have gotten this level of service from other local marketing companies.

I hired Marvel to create a website for the podcast that can serve as the show's hub.

How did you select Marvel Marketing and what were the deciding factors?

The fact they were local was a big factor in my decision. They also showed the most interest in my project and even went as far as to sponsor the show.

All I had to do was setup the website on a hosting platform with instructions from Marvel. Once that was setup, they went to work at building the website.

The company director Ryan was my main point of contact at the start and end of the project. During the creation of the site, I was in contact with a designer who kept me up to date on the progress of the site.

I think the site turned out great. While I only have one season of the podcast out now, I think as we make more episodes having this site will help the show come up more in searches.

We communicated through email. I didn't have a hard deadline, so I let them work on the site until it was ready.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked how they were willing to work with me despite the fact that I'm not a business with a large budget. The fact they offered to sponsor the podcast was something I didn't expect, and 'I've appreciated they are willing to go that far to get my business.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of anything troublesome. If there was a typo or any mistake on the site they were quick to fix the problem.

I am the founder and broker at Oceanside Real Estate in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Oceanside provides luxury real estate services for our clients from across the world. I am also the founder and partner at Arch Cabo Luxury Rentals. We provide luxury villas and vacation rentals in Los Cabos.

We required a website for both our real estate and vacation rental businesses. Our real estate website included a complex process of integrating our website to work with IDX real estate listings. Our rental website required an integration of online booking software as well as payment processing. We have currently been doing SEO for oceanside for a few months with positive results having our website showing on the first page for multiple keywords. We will begin SEO on our rental website in near future.

We were recommended to speak with Marvel Marketing from someone who had a great experience with them previously. We did some research and found that Marvel has an excellent track record companies in many industries. We also saw that Marvel Marketing has numerous awards from well established award organizations.

Marvel started us with an onboarding and discover phase which went through an in-depth process of getting to know our business and team. We really appreciated this. We were asked a series of questions and explained our goals. Marvel then put together a proposal that we were able to review and eventually accept for the web design and SEO services. Throughout the web design process, we were kept up to date with progress and all of our questions were answered. We really appreciated the transparency.

Three in total. The owner and marketing director, Ryan. Project manager and senior copywriter, Noelle, Graphic designer, Logan.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have a website that looks amazing and works with IDX Ihome Finder connected to the MLS. The design and layout of website is great for our clients and represents our brand very well. The SEO services that Marvel has done have yielded in our website rankings on the first page of google for multiple keywords. This has helped greatly with online exposure and lead generation.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Marvel made the entire process easy with great communication through numerous communication channels.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Marvel Marketing was able to design our website in a way that our previous agency was not able to accomplish. We're incredibly impressed with their ability to come through with all of our requests.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The web design process went past our expected completion date but that was due to complications with IDX integration. We were happy to have the website completed, even though it went past the initial completion date.

Further, the team plans our digital marketing strategies. Currently, we’re working with the team for website maintenance.

We’ve received a number of compliments from companies who are impressed with our website, logo, and business cards. We’ve also seen quite an uptick in traffic and are confident Marvel Marketing’s work has contributed to an improvement in sales.

How did Marvel Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Ryan is extremely easy to work with. He’s always available, efficient, and communicates well. We communicate over email, phone, and Slack. 

We particularly appreciate his willingness to collaborate and offer ideas. We’ve never had a problem with him. Further, he always does his best to educate us on various tenets of digital marketing.

The value we get from Marvel Marketing’s work is excellent. Especially considering their price point, we really feel like they have a lot to offer and that we’re getting a lot out of the engagement. They’ve brought things to the table we never would’ve considered.

The process started with an in-person meeting with Ryan, the agency director. Ryan went over our current business practices and learned as much as possible about how we operate and who our clientele are. From there we put our trust with Marvel Marketing and dived into starting the re-branding process. Compliance is a critical part of anything we do and they complied and worked with the compliance team as required - a long process but they were patient and happy to do the work. We continue working on branding and various projects.

I worked directly with Ryan, the agency director. It was great that I only had to deal with one person instead of multiple. My time is limited with business and Ryan made it easy with monthly reporting and follow-ups.

Since working with Marvel Marketing our branding has improved significantly and portrays our business to a tee. From our website to our business cards - the branding strategy is effective and impressive.

I’m the owner of Beyond Bronze Tanning and Esthetics in Alberta, Canada.

What challenge were you trying to address with Marvel Marketing?

We wanted to increase our ranking on Google and some of the other search engines. A lot of our advertising in the past (paper and promotions) wasn’t gaining a lot of ground. We’re in a new community that’s cut off from the rest of the city, so wanted to draw more people to our location.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ryan (Founder, Marvel Marketing) came in, had some discussions with us, and started out with SEO. We optimized for 10 keywords we thought were important and then started doing some backlinks and other links with our other vendors and suppliers.

They’ve also revamped our brochures and my business card, giving them a more professional look. We went from a black and gold color scheme to a navy blue and gold scheme to be more luxurious. Recently, we did a shoot with their videographer to put a 30-second video on our website and social media. The video is currently being edited.

We also have a WordPress website that they worked on. Since we launched the site, we’ve started to offer additional services including laser, massage, facials, and lashes. Marvel built additional pages for those services and now does SEO to get those pages ranking.

We work with Ryan, his videographer, and his sales person.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve been moving up in the rankings. Previously, we hadn’t ranked on maps or any type of organic levels for massage or laser. We now show up now for both on maps. Our rankings for tanning and spray tanning have gone up a fair bit as well. We’re almost on the first page of the organic side, and we’re one or two on maps for both tanning and spray tanning.

In the past, I did all the branding and everything myself and thought it was pretty good. It lacked professionalism, but it got us by. Now, we can offer a more professional brochure. With Ryan’s help we’ll be able to rebrand some of the services we have and get them more noticed, and, hopefully, grow into more locations.

They’ve captured our vision really well lots of discussions on where we want to go. They’re hands-on with our Instagram and Facebook and active in getting that message out there. There was also a lot of talk about how my business impacts everyone. Some people think what I do isn’t good for people, but Ryan understands what I’m doing.

How did Marvel Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They push me forward and help get things done when I’m busy. They’ve even done some things on their own (messaging me first for approval, of course) and put things into action.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a smaller, local organization, so their finger is on the pulse of what we’re doing. I think if I was with a bigger organization a lot would get lost in translation. Meaning, I’d talk to somebody and the message would get passed to colleagues who wouldn’t understand what was happening. Ryan and Marvel have been able to implement my vision as we go along.

No. They’ve done very well, and done it all affordably.

Marvel marketing consulted with us on the most efficient way to present the registration and setup processes to customers. Then they created workflow mockups that showed how these processes would look on both iOS and Android, and built a design library that could be incorporated into our SDKs and given out to external development partners.

Marvel marketing brought several suggestions to the table that we wouldn’t have arrived at on our own, such as using animations to help improve conversion. They clearly and easily explained a set of directions regarding the implementation. They also understood the differences between iOS and Android, which were unusually complicated for this project because of the technical nature of our registration process.
