### Zeus Manager
The Zeus Manager mobile application solves the problem of digital organization for employees and managers, primarily in restaurants, by offering features such as clocking in and out in specific restaurants, setting tasks for employees, requesting free days, and much more.
The Mobile application uses React Native and Redux for state management, while the back end is done in Laravel and PostgreSQL. Our team consisted of a React Native developer and a Project Manager, while the Spanish team handled the back end —our team loved seeing all the española messages!
Stack: ReactNative
How it works?
Users are allowed to manage and work in multiple restaurants with their accounts. There are two roles: Managers and Employees.
Employees can check in or out through an app, but only once they are physically inside the restaurant where they work. Once checked in, they see a list of tasks the manager had previously prepared for them.
They can also see information regarding vacations and days off and request days off with explanations for their absence. Both sides can also manage contracts between them.
Notifications are also included for managers and employees, both inside the app and with push notifications. They are used to notify users about payments, vacation statuses, or tasks.
While Zeus Manager was definitely not among the most challenging apps ever—its humble set of features is meant to solve specific use cases for specific people—nonetheless, the project posed some interesting challenges that made us scratch our heads while not taking away the fun of solving them. We're really happy that we've been a part of the development journey of this product!

### Digital twin data
The Challenge
Our client, a German-based company, uses cameras on highways and city crossroads to monitor traffic and generate data. These video streams train their ML system to recognize vehicle types. However, the system struggled in poor lighting and adverse weather conditions like rain and snow. It also had limited data with varying angles and setups. Additionally, the system could only identify broad vehicle categories, unable to distinguish sub-types like tow trucks, tankers, and specific vehicles such as police cars or ambulances.
The Solution Proposal
We proposed generating digital twin data and creating detailed 3D models of real-world objects. Our dynamic system would:

Create various road environments
Dynamically adjust camera positions and rotations
Simulate different weather conditions
Generate random traffic with diverse vehicle types

This setup would produce hundreds of images with annotated data files detailing the vehicle type in each image. These pairs would train the ML system, improving its recognition accuracy in real-life feeds.
The Approach
To mitigate risks, we proposed a Proof of Concept (PoC) to ensure value for the client even if the system didn’t fully succeed. We estimated a development period of 1 to 3 months, agreed on a maximum budget, and concluded the project upon achieving functionality.
The Work
We used NVIDIA's Omniverse technology for digital twin data generation. Over the next weeks, we modelled 3D assets, adapted purchased assets, created varied environments and weather conditions, and wrote Python scripts for data randomization and export. This setup aimed to produce the data necessary to train the ML system effectively, enhancing its performance under diverse and challenging real-world conditions.
