What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to gather data from government school classrooms around teaching learning processes for early language learning, through an app used by our field staff.

Manprax has been building an app for us which our field staff uses to observe government school classrooms in our intervention schools. Based on the collected data, we make decisions on the program implementation.

What was the team composition?

The co-founders worked directly with us along with a team of front-end and back-end developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app is being currently used by all our field staff. We are also starting the second phase of development where we will not build a version of it for the government staff.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. The team has always been very approachable and responsive.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The company understands the tech-for-non profits space really well. They have a large portfolio of clients from this segment.

None I can think of right now.

I am the Promoter and Director of the company Humanital Private Limited since its inception in early 2016. Humanital is a job portal that works as an integrated platform for job seekers, recruiters, and hiring companies.

For what projects/services did your company hire ManpraX Software LLP?

We hired Manprax for complete web development work from scratch.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to create a website from scratch that is capable of handling a large amount of real-time data generated through registered user's activities on the website and facilitate communication among account holders through cloud telephony.

How did you select this vendor?

The vendor was referred by a common contact who was also an expert in the same domain. A further face to face meeting with the vendor backed our confidence in the team, especially the domain knowledge, experience, ethics, and temperament of partnering with the client. It was very much professional in approach.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

1. Manprax, based on our inputs, their job was to suggest/propose the best technology platform in terms of Flexibility, Scalability, Performance, Cost-effectiveness, Easy Maintenance, and Hosting of the Website. 2. Based on our input (Including the detailed prototype), their job was to develop the website from scratch (Front end, Back end including the Database design which was MongoDB) 3. Hosting the website on AWS and optimize the code for load speed and cost-cutting on the AWS server. 4. Manprax also worked with Wordpress for our blogging needs.

What was the team composition?

Initially, the team had two for front end and one at the architectural level but later one more member was added to speed up the development.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our business was a startup then. We started with just an idea and we did a lot of research before we finalized Manprax. There was a technical bottleneck, we had to get a solution for that first and I would say we did it only through the help of Manprax team.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Manprax, with the help of MS Project, helped us to list down all the tasks and identify critical tasks as a milestone. Manprax assigned us a project head who was the single point of contact for project-related queries and updates.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

1. The first thing I would say was Professional Approach that too from day one. 2. The second was their domain knowledge and related past experiences. 3. And the third was their execution capability. It was awesome. 4. Lastly, I personally found them ethical towards their work, team, and client.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At that point of time, I didn't see them lacking anything.

Various projects have been delivered since our engagement with Manprax allowing us to expand the amount of work we can deliver.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project Management was quite good. We have daily stand-ups and updates on work done.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The level of professionalism and their extra initiative to meet deadlines, as well as client requirements, was impressive.

Not much. Would like the company to engage with employees to help them learn new technologies.
