For what projects/services did your company hire Make IT, and what were your goals?

We had our concept for our global marketplace platform outlined on a power point. During our multiple feedback rounds, potential subscribers and sponsors said that they understand the gist, yet need something more tangible to get a better feel, so we decided to have a MVP built representing our concept.

It was also crucial for us that it would be readily presentable on time for our planned soft launch for the COP27 Climate Conference in Sharm El Sheikh. We needed assurance that we would have our defined MVP product ready and functional in a short 8 weeks.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online and also looked for referrals. We then asked 4 vendors for quotes. Based on the quotes, we had several interviews and following a very tight situation amongst the 2 finalists, we ultimately decided for Make IT.

Deciding factors were our impression that the Make IT Team could feel exactly what our main Purpose was, that they also seemed to support our Vision & Mission wholeheartedly and ultimately as well the Proximity (we could be at Make IT's Office Location or vice-versa within 2.5 hours from our Office).

Build a platform from a power point concept to a well-functioning MVP (front end/back end; admin function) in 8 weeks.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The Completion in less than 8 weeks allowed us to globally launch the platform as per our schedule on time coinciding with the official opening of COP27, while being with a Booth in the COP27 Green Zone on site. The Make IT supported us throughout the launch and during the 2 weeks of COP27 behind the scenes. All in all, we enjoyed working with the Make IT Team and are continuing the collaboration with them.

We were impressed with their true agile and respectful way of collaborating, accompanied by being able to 'fast forward', thinking outside of the box, besides transparently sharing and applying their professional expertise, translating non-tech-expressed tasks into value-adding leading edge tech propositions and respective coding.

We had couple of meetings with the company management and in the conversations we found quite a lot matches in our corporate values in the way that Make IT is working. Having this level of common approach to work and related challenges , made us believe they are right partner.

They provided 2 front-end engineers to augment in our team. The orientation phase was quick and soon they start being good part of the team.

We had good collaboration on both project and management level. Through the partnership we have regular communication, feedback sharing and correct business relations. The joint efforts gave good results in the project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Working remotely wasn't an issue for both sides. As global company we have established processes for remote work and the collaboration with the guys was normal.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The matching of the core values of the two companies was the unique combination that gave the base of good partnership.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As usual, a bit more efforts in the onboarding and orientation at the beguining is always helpful for the fast team formation.

We have worked on several key projects with Make IT and we trusted that they will be able to handle all aspects of the solution development - architecture, coding, testing, etc.

We have previously hired Make IT for some of our old projects and we trusted in their professionalism, experience, knowledge and customer understanding.

The project is in the fin tech sector in UK and we have started it from scratch. We had to create a working MVP, which is about to be used from the client for venture capital gathering. The project followed the SCRUM methodology with fixed sprints of 2 weeks and constant communication with the client about requirements, progress, etc. Each and every sprint produced an increment, which was deployed and further tested by the client. The technologies used for the project were Node.js, Express.js, React, Azure cloud for hosting, pipes, etc.

Two people from Make IT worked on the project . One was lead technology expert and architect and the other was senior developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It was amazing what this team managed to create. There were no single sprint in which we have missed our increment delivery, the attitude to the client mesmerizing. By following the best coding practices we have managed to fulfill all those constant changing requirements in order to deliver the best possible solution, custom tailored based on our client's needs.

The project followed SCRUM methodology and this proved to be the right decision. For project tracking, timelines and workload we have used Jira.

Most definitely their professionalism. Their attention to the customer and the the rest of the colleagues, their commitment and dedication to the project and the team. We were impressed with their top-notch technical knowledge and expertise, which they demonstrated each and every day.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I believe they did an amazing job, withing the scope of the requirements that we had and I do not believe we could have done anything better.

MK IT's team was flawless in their organization and execution of the project. The communication was smooth and effortless, the goals were met without delay and the minor bugs we discovered were adressed and eradicated immediately.

Feedback from users we reached out to was positive. We also made sales from the first day following the release.

• We mostly followed the scrum methodology flow (we did skip assigning story points though)
• We used Slack to communicate - Jira was the platform we used for tracking tasks and progress

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found most impressive how responsive they were even thought the timezone difference is massive. They always got back to us in a timely fashion and scheduling talks was never an issue.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In hindsight having done more planning at the beginning of the project could have helped with some of the issues aligning everyone on some of the tasks.
