The project manager coordinates the general work, keeps open and critical issues under control, and solves minor problems. For our part, we are responsible for accepting tasks and agreeing on the next scope of work. In addition to general work on tasks, the team of developers also takes an active part in consultations on technical issues and helps to come to a common solution to problems and tasks.

Magecom has a great work ethic. Every web developer or project manager is highly knowledgeable and efficient. The team assigned to me was always responsive and was managing tasks most efficiently without any delay. Questions if any were asked very clearly for better understanding and limiting the amount of going back and forth to clarify. Very easy to work with, highly professional and knowledgeable team.

Magecom performed tasks very diligently and efficiently.

As CTO I'm responsible for continuous development and improvement of our platform. I plan our roadmap, manage IT security and assign tasks to our different developers.

We don't have a specific project with a set end date. Magecom is our long-term IT partner and helping us with day to day development but also multiple longer-running projects.

As I've been working with Magento I already know them for a few years. Therefor I know their quality and expertise is good.

Magecom is working on two big projects for us. There are no project steps but it's an ongoing partnership.

As stated Magecom has finished two bigprojects for us. Each containing more than 20 custom build extensions and a lot of extended code to our existing extensions.

Tasks are planned in Jira. Deploys are done through GIT. We do not have set meetings but when a new task is created in Jira we discuss the task on Skype to make sure everything is clear.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Sometimes it's hard to work remote with people you've never met. I was surprised by the fact that the employees of Magecom are easy to work with. The communication (in English) is good and as the skills of the developers are of a high standard, so working with them is easier than I thought.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Because we use Magecom as a long-term partner, continuity is important for running our business. Therefor it will be useful to have more regular updates about availability, pricing and contracts that are about to end. So that we can make sure we can continue working in a good way.

We have daily standup calls with their developers via Slack, use Github to manage our workflow.

They were able to own the project with minimal oversight. They easily adjusted to our processes instead of the other way around. Whenever any issues come up, the team is able to fix them quickly.

Taking initiative with CI/CD processes as well as coming up with unique ways of solving challenges which are brought fourth by Magento framework could be areas where the team can improve.

After launching our sites we saw our sales and traffic doubled. Our leads better understand our products and services and our clients are impressed with the design of our homepages.

Overall, from early stages of planning that involved the projects’ specification to execution and subsequent support of our websites Sergey’s team showed true expertise and reliability from beginning to end. It is a real pleasure working with Magecom’s team and I highly recommend them.

When we first launched we didn’t realize that our payment and contact forms were a standard for European consumers. We let them know and they were quick to change/customize for the U.S. customers.

PGM is a healthcare software and service company. We provide back office solutions to healthcare professionals across the US. I am the Vice President of Business Development, and am responsible for all growth related activities including marketing.

Our website was antiquated and no longer reflected our product offering. In 2018 we released a proprietary software package to augment our core RCM service offering. We needed an updated site that marketed both our technology and service offerings to a number of specific subsets within our markets. Additionally, the site needed to provide customers access to our cloud technology package.

We initiated an RFP to which Magecom and a number of other companies replied. I selected Magecom based on their portfolio and the feeling I had with their owner. The owner was super knowledgable and made numerous suggestions during the bidding phase that indicated to me that Magecom was the right fit for the job.

We worked with a Project Manager, a Front End Developer, QA Rep and the owner.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was completed within the allocated time and budget. We were more than pleased with the results. Traffic has increased by over 30% YTD. Additionally traffic is being siloed into the appropriate channels, making the selling process more efficient.

Easygoing, competent and timely. We worked extensively with Olga who organized biweekly status update and development calls. The team was incredibly knowledgeable and organized. The process was fairly seamless.

I feel I have built a long term relationship. Magecom is now a tool that we use for all of our development needs. I feel we have built a level of trust between the organizations where I no longer need to bid out technology projects.

I wish they would extend their product and services line to include areas such as digital marketing. I would prefer to leverage one company for all of my needs.

We had several goals:

1. Move our online shop from the old CMS platform (Joomla) to the proper e-commerce system (Magento)
2. integrate an online shop with an ERP, in order to automate the fulfillment process in the company.
3. Integrate local delivery providers
4. Enhance the structure of the online shop according to the SEO requirements.

After the project was done, in one year we decided to expand our business and we hired Magecom one more time to create 2 additional online stores for different regions. 3 months later we successfully got multistore on Magento with the same integrations in the back-office and different frontends.

We were searching for the company not only with strong e-commerce expertise but and with expertise in relatively new for that time Magento technology.

It was hard, but fortunately one of the designers that we were working with us recommended Magecom, and after we checked portfolio and made the first estimation meeting we decided to sign a contract with them.

We had a rough idea of what business process we want to cover, so we damped our ideas on the google doc "paper" The project manager estimated the high-level cost of the project.

At the next meeting, we divided the project into several iterations, confirmed price logic, and custom features with us. In 1 month we had a demo of the first iteration. Meanwhile, we were working with a Magecom designer so at the end of the first month we also had design ready.

Project manager, at first we had only one developer, but in second iteration 2 more developers joined the team. Designer and QA.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We successfully covered most of our goals.

1. We got a new design with modern features that increased customer satisfaction and conversion rate. We are still using the Aquarium Configurator that was developed by Magecon not only on a site but internally as well, to calculate cost and aquarium setup in minutes instead of half an hour.
2. We integrated online shop in the internal fulfillment process
3. We failed to integrate local delivery providers because they were changing there API, and we didn't get a partnership contract signed.
4. SEO requirements were successfully implemented, so we got good organic growth in the next six months.
5. With a multistore we expanded our business.

Before each iteration, we had an estimation and planning meeting, and after that several skype Q&A calls during the iteration.

Very strong e-commerce expertise. A "do not make shit" policy and a team that was able to provide advice for the implementation details.

I don't know. Maybe they can increase a team because we were waiting for the start of the project for some time, but it was not critical.

The main deliverable was the website. The project entailed taking a complex custom design and building it for desktop and mobile. In addition, the site integrated with ESP and OMS systems.

The most difficult part was the product content database specifically to host ingredient images, names, descriptions and document attachments.
