DataRoot Labs - a team of AI experts and the fastest growing AI company in Ukraine. With offices in Kyiv and Tel-Aviv, we build and implement AI-powered systems across different verticals to help our clients operate effectively.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire MadFish.Solutions?

We turned to Madfish Solutions to develop a tool for collecting different types of data directly from the blockchains, quantity mentions on Twitter, Google stats, prices from exchanges, and also Github activity for our client.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to develop a working tool that collects all of these data and provides possibilities to search in this data, filter, and IT-ready for subsequent processing.

How did you select this vendor?

We chose DataRoot Labs for their strong reputations within the Israeli community, where they are well-known for the quality of their AI and Blockchain development. We looked for a reliable technology partner to develop the most important component for our business - a full-cycle MVP.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We need to collect transactions numbers, sum, interactions with smart contracts in these blockchains:

 UTXO-based blockchains:

• Bitcoin Cash
• Bitcoin SV

Litecoin Account-based blockchains:

• Tezos
• Tron

Ethereum Classic Trades from:

• Binance
• Bittrex

Also their activity from Github about:

• Commits
• New code lines
• Contributors
• Twitter mentions and Google trends.

What was the team composition?

It was a small team of 3 people consisting of blockchain developers and two Fullstack JS. Everyone we worked with was excellent at their roles with solid expertise and excellent communication skills.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The team delivered what they promised - a fully working service that allowed us to collect and operate with this data through API. Now we can filter, compare, and use this data to train AI for helping in the analysis markets of these coins.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We communicated directly with their CTO and core development team members, who all speak English and are great at client communication. We never had any issues with project management. The dialogue was always fast and effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The guys are really good blockchain specialist and true believers in Crypto and Blockchain ideas. They have a deep understanding of each unique specific in blockchains which we need to analyze.

We came to them with rough technical requirements and it was enough to build our tool. Prior to Madfish, we started working with a different company and were unsatisfied with their results. We switched Madfish and had the experience we expected.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It would be great if Madfish.Solutions also could provide security audits for solutions that already in productions.

Our company is a technology innovation consultancy that create solutions that works with organisations to address some of the most pressing issues they are facing with the use of advanced data-driven technologies, as well as building proprietary digital tools and products. I'm the founder and CEO.

For what projects/services did your company hire MadFish.Solutions?

Our challenge was to quickly prototype and build a cross-platform system using the existing legacy front- and backend implementations.

What were your goals for this project?

We required a fast delivery of code that would be built at the highest quality standard, and within a limited budget that we had for the project. Contrary to a widespread opinion that it's impossible to achieve all three in a software project, we did receive the speed, quality and low cost!

How did you select this vendor?

We shortlisted two vendors based on the pre-existing relationships with both of them. After that we conducted face-to-face interviews. We liked Madfish's level of technical skills and flexibility when it came to terms negotiation.

The project included front-end development, legacy code review and refactoring, backend architecture, planning of the technical roadmap, third party service integration.

What was the team composition?

Two software engineers from the Madfish side and a team of five from us.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were very pleased with the results of the work, including the quality of the deliverables.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had a direct contact with the project manager as well as develops directly, and had regular calls and face-to-face meeting, as well as slack and email chats.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The expert level of coding skills, passion about their work and customer focus.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The team could benefit from extra long-term planning as their team and number of project they simultaneously work on grow.
