What was the scope of their involvement?

Lovaly has designed a new logo and created an entirely new website from scratch. The team has transferred some of the photography from the previous site, but the new site has a new logo and format. The site serves as a portfolio of my work and describes our firm.

Initially, we had a one-hour phone call during which they asked me questions. From there, the team put together the site, and I had a couple of reviews before they published it. The team is also hosting the site.

I’ve seen their work through other designers who used their product. I knew the team had worked on websites for interior designers, so that was important to me. I became familiar with their work because they designed a wallpaper I used.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website has only been out for two weeks, so we don’t have any metrics yet. However, I feel like the new site is polished and sophisticated. I used to feel ashamed of showing the old site to potential clients.

The team has met the timeline and is responsive. We’ve had three phone calls, and the rest of our communication is through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is extremely professional.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are times I wish I could have had more input. However, Dylan is upfront about having proven ways of working and doing things.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Ask more about the process upfront. Sometimes, I don’t know which phase we’re in, and it’s awkward because I feel like I don’t have input. Dylan is very congenial and professional; it seems he knows exactly where he is in each phase.

Lovably designed and developed our website from scratch. We started by picking a font and strategizing what platform would be more beneficial for us. We also worked on the creative design and copy. We provided Lovably with an extensive brief and design ideas from our principal architect, who had a visual of what she wanted. We’ve used Squarespace to build the website.

Lovably has also helped us with branding by helping us come up with our core statement, which has been foundational to creating the website. They’ve also done some copywriting work.

Although the project is wrapped up, we have an ongoing contract with them for any changes we might need to make or pages we might need to add.

Dylan has been great with staying on budget and being flexible as we’ve made some changes. Although some things have taken a little longer to complete, it’s mostly been because of us. We typically communicate via email and phone calls.

Be prepared and have your thoughts and materials ready. Do your homework because it can be hard for business owners to make the time. Committing to a project like this takes quite a bit of time.

Professional website that matches our company personality, industry, and website expectations. Ultimately, Dylan was incredible to work with. He is not only a very likeable, responsive and professional person but he showed immense knowledge about our industry, and its website needs, as well as of course his ability to make visions a reality online. 

Before we engaged  Lovably, we’re were blown away with how crisp, clean and professional looking his work is. However he impressed even more as we got to know each other. We could not imagine anyone else designing our site. We are absolutely thrilled

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lovably built our entire website for us from scratch, offering a full service that included design, website layout management, and SEO. Moreover, they used Webflow for the website development. Initially, we provided them with our brand identity deck, so they used our branding to make sure everything was aligned and cohesive with our brand identity.

Lovably's SEO work included defining keywords for our content. Additionally, they helped us with backlinking work. Still, we're looking to do blog posting together in the future.

We had seen Lovably's website through other interior designers. When we saw what they had designed for our industry colleagues, we felt that they would be a good fit for us as well, so we set up an interview. Lovably was very professional, service-oriented, and attentive to everything we needed. Additionally, they were great at providing ideas and bringing new things to the table.

Lovably delivered an amazing website with perfect functionality. It was very easy for our audience to navigate through it, so we received very positive feedback when we launched it.

Lovably's project management was amazing. They were very attentive to what we needed whenever we changed things around. As for communication, we did an in-person meeting initially to kick-off the project. From there on, we collaborated virtually via email and phone calls; it was a very easy process.

Lovably's professionalism was impressive. They were very professional, always provided feedback and new ideas, and were very creative.

We had no complaints about their work.

Every so often, Lovably would send me updates to their work and to have me check and edit anything that did not jive with me.

While I think they delivered on time, I was never watching my watch so the process was natural - not too frenzied and not too chilled.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found most impressive was their attitude and outlook; their seriousness and responsiveness - a company I would want to keep working with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Lovably could have done differently?

Everything was perfect until a slight bump at the very very end where I felt that perhaps emails were not fully read and acted upon which made me repeat certain things over and over. I think that when you tell a customer that things are ready to go, that you should check them to make sure they are because if you do say this, the client assumes it REALLY is ready to go. 

Having said all this, it really was not such a big deal since the process before the bump was enjoyable and perfectly recommendable.

I own and run an executive coaching practice called THAXA. I work with CEO's, startup founders, and senior level executives to help them reach ambitious goals using the best ideas from performance science.

For what projects/services did your company hire Lovably, and what were your goals?

I started my practice eight years ago and felt it was time to refresh and improve my website to better reflect the branding of my practice and increase the usefulness of the content.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I wanted to use a vendor experienced in Webflow so that my website would be easy to maintain and not require the constant upkeep of Wordpress. I also wanted a vendor who had a portfolio with good design aesthetic, since I wanted a clean, well-structured, and visually appealing site.

Dylan created a new website for me and created a refreshed and brand-consistent powerpoint template for my client reports.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I am very pleased with the design of the website. It is colorful, clean and energetic. Dylan was able to create a visual feel that is warm and approachable while still conveying the brand message of high performance. The powerpoint template for reporting is consistent with the look and feel of the website and looks great.

Dylan had an organized process. They provided clear instructions about how and where to upload the assets they need to develop our site. We primarily communicated over email which worked well. I appreciated that there were sufficient iterations to dial in on my vision for the look/feel of the site. Dylan was responsive in answering my questions and addressing my comments and ideas throughout the feedback process. He was also helpful in navigating the legacy tech issues that came up in switching sites.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I appreciated how open Dylan was to listening to what I wanted and to working with me throughout the iterations to get to a pleasing product. He did a great job of balancing his own expert suggestions as a professional with listening to my values and priorities for the site. He was responsive to critique and incorporated feedback into subsequent versions.

Have a good understanding of what you’re looking to accomplish and what you want your brand to look like. Be proactive in the process.
