What challenge were you trying to address with Liberty Communications?

We engaged Liberty Communications for a variety of projects over our ten-year relationship. They help us create promotional materials for BTL (below-the-line) digital marketing campaigns.

What was the scope of their involvement?

For our most recent project, Liberty Communications helped us promote destination packages to target audiences—specifically couples over 40. Their team proposed the idea of a landing page focused on 10 European destinations. The page would offer a promotional contest that asked visitors to share their love stories and potentially win two tickets to one of the destinations. 

Liberty Communications built the landing page and helped us run the engagement contests. On our Facebook page, they also ran campaigns that gave followers the chance to win Air France-branded items in exchange for engagement. Their team created all materials and helped run the campaign, including reading and reacting to Facebook users’ responses.

What is the team composition?

Nikolay (CEO, Liberty Communications) serves as our main point of contact and our account manager for most projects. He leads a team of managers and designers behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Liberty Communications?

I met Nikolay while I was working at a previous company and him at an advertising agency. Around the time that I joined Air France-KLM, I heard that he started his own firm. Our past collaborations had been successful due to his experience and reliability, so I reached out to him to resume the partnership.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend about €50,000 (approximately $56,000) per year.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Liberty Communications met or beat every KPI (key performance metric) we set for them. They are a reliable vendor, and we can always expect high-quality deliverables from their team.

How did Liberty Communications perform from a project management standpoint?

At the beginning of each year, I give the team a debrief to go over our annual focuses. Nikolay is present for each meeting to stay on top of our needs. He then organizes his team to develop a plan to solve our problems. Once we launch a project, he takes the lead as our account manager. We can reach out to Nikolay at any time for advice, and he's willing to give his expertise.

The entire team is experienced, flexible, and supportive of each project. They provide regular updates and can adapt to scope changes with ease. We communicate daily.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Liberty Communications listens carefully to us to fully grasp our needs and requests. Whenever we give a new request or make a change, they understand it fully. The team is ready to change directions as needed, and they always look for the best solution for us and our project’s outcomes. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

A ten-year partnership has resulted in a close-knit relationship. We can solve any issues immediately in our daily communication. We’ve never had to address anything substantial with Liberty Communications.

The quality of work has been exceptional, and it’s been an excellent cooperation. Liberty Communications increased brand awareness and sales, as well as our market share by a few percents.

Our workflow has been efficient. They’ve met deadlines and stayed on budget. We mostly communicate through phone and email. For the main project, we sent them a brief via email, and then we discussed the milestones and launched.

I’m the marketing manager of Intersnack, a snack company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Liberty Communications?

We hired them to assist with digital marketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Liberty Communications supported us on a range of digital marketing projects, including media planning, strategy development, creative ideation, and digital promotion. One of their main projects involved launching a Facebook page. We created a content plan for implementation, and they developed all of the content (e.g., images, text) for our posts. They also designed and developed a website to launch concurrently with our Facebook page.

What is the team composition?

I worked with the account manager, account director, creative director, and a director who negotiates all the business needs. For day-to-day coordination, we worked with the client service manager.

How did you come to work with Liberty Communications?

My colleagues originally found Liberty Communications and noted that they were one of the top 20 advertising agencies. They participated in a big tinder and stood out with their communication skills, development approach, brief, and materials. Ultimately, we found them to be the most compelling candidate and decided that they would be a good fit for our company.

We spent about €300,000 (approximately $340,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Their work lasted from 2013–2015.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Liberty Communications understood our business and implemented creative ideas that delivered good results. From time to time, we’d check all of the marketing data, including distribution, market growth, volume share growth and noticed that our marketing data improved across the board.

How did Liberty Communications perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated daily. They provided all of the necessary reports on Google Analytics and Facebook analytics and gave presentations on whether our activities were successful or not. From there, they would propose alternative courses of action, and we would decide the best path together.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were great at quickly developing creative concepts and assets. From idea to realization, the whole digital marketing process was easy to do with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there was nothing that they needed to improve. They provided strong digital and technical solutions, and their team could benefit from growing their numbers from department to department.

Customers can expect great creative and technical support.
