We put the project out to tender and shortlisted 3 vendors. After interviewing them we chose this vendor based on their past projects, their responsiveness, and cost estimate.

We had a number of kickoff meetings to brief them on the project, how it works, and the overall objective. We supplied task specs in project management software and shared access with them. The client supplied mock-ups. We collectively prioritized the features to implement and developed them over a number of months using Wordpress and php.

A project manager was our main point of contact. There was also a full stack web developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the site, my client easily signed up a number of beta users who were very impressed and excited about the concept. They have licenced the app into their own websites as a result.

We communicated multiple times throughout the work. If there were any delays, they let us know ahead of time so that we could prepare. We used Slack, Trello and GitHub to coordinate, and they worked well with our team.

Their communication and skills were great and they integrated well with our team. Their attention to detail was impressive and they understood quickly what had to be done and how to do it. They were always responsive to changes and it was clear they took pride in their work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They were very responsive to fixes. They did a great job.

Lengin was hired to develop a new design for our corporate website. It includes the convertation of design into front end (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and integration with CMS Wordpress (PHP). The main goal was to launch a new website as soon as possible and keep high quality. In addition, be able to manage all content of the website and be completely independent of development.

Mainly we chose Lengin based on the good reviews of our colleagues. But also we checked on our side the expertise of Lengin. They showed us several works and how they are implemented. Also, they told in detail (technologies, tools, steps) how they plan to develop our project.

Our team has developed a high-quality design that includes adaptation to various devices. In addition, the design involved complex animations and other types of interaction with users. They perfectly transformed the design of 10 pages to the front end, using HTML, CSS, JS. It looked 1:1 according to the design for all screens.

They developed all the necessary animations, as expected, and even offered a few more. Also, part of the project was to integrate the front end with the CMS Wordpress. Lengin did a great job. We had the opportunity to change all the information from admin panel. Reuse an already developed design to build new pages. They provided an opportunity to work with SEO and consulted in this direction.

After launching the project, we increased the following metrics: engagement time, website interaction, and a number of leads.

We used an iterative development method. The project was divided into 4 steps and planned strict completion dates. Project management was at a high level. Each iteration was completed on time. The things that need to be provided on our part were required in advance. The result and progress were reflected in weekly status letters, which allowed to maintain transparency for all persons involved.

Lengin understands expectations at a deep level and delivers them! They build a transparent process of cooperation that inspires trust. Also, impressive is their wish to excellence.

There is always room for improvement. We believe that within our project they were excellent at all stages.

I’m the owner of a marketing agency that specializes in making web apps to help real estate projects sell their products.

We needed someone to help us develop a web app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lengin developed a web app that can connect to our CMS, so users can make changes or modify their site’s visuals. We provided the UI/UX aspect while they did everything from scratch and focused solely on custom coding. Currently, I’m still working with the team as I have for two and a half years, because some of the projects I have with them are still ongoing.

As of now, I’ve been working with four people from their team, and they’re made up of a project manager, developers, and designers.

I found them through Upwork. We started working together and it went pretty well.

The ongoing partnership started in January 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Their coding and programming are really high-quality and well-written — they’re easy to read, which is why I really like working with them. I would say the hardest part in this partnership, is dealing with the delays of the projects, because they’re really far from us. However, I’m willing to endure all that, especially with the level of quality of the work we’re getting from them.

How did Lengin perform from a project management standpoint?

We mostly communicate through Skype and we have meetings every three days or so. We also use Trello to check on the jobs, look at bugs, or add new features.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like the fact that they’re always there to help us with anything — whether it’s a new job of adding a new feature, or fixing something that’s not working. Additionally, they do a good job of pricing the work for me. If I want to add more features, they’re going to let me know how much exactly it’s going to cost, and they’ll give me a reduced price.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would say they should improve the way they manage their timelines. It would be easier for me if I know that they’re going to be working on a job on Monday, and expect the output on Tuesday.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would say that if you’re going to work with Lengin, you must first know who your customers are, and what they’re looking for. It’s not their job to know what your customers want, so make sure you do and relay the information to the team, so they can do something with it.

As the requirements we were providing might not have been 100% clear, I would recommend to spend some time on a voice call, going over the exact details. Of course if this is documented clearly - there might not be the need (There was in our case)

We’ve worked with Lengin on behalf of our two clients. Our customers typically need multilanguage websites, in English and in Hebrew. The sites have complex sales funnels as well as accessibility features, which are required by law in Israel.

They have delivered multiple WordPress websites for our clients. We create the designs in-house, and they do the development. They’ve created the websites from scratch using React and JavaScript on the frontend and custom PHP code on the backend. Their team is set to work on another project soon.

We’ve worked with around four people, including two developers and a project manager. Then, I'm the one in charge of talking to the clients.

They showed us some great code that they had developed for another project. The platform was really responsive and it did everything we needed.

The quality of their work has been great; the sites that they’ve developed have been very good. In fact, our clients have been satisfied with Lengin's work, which is what truly matters. Overall, their work environment is exceptional, and they’re doing a great job.

Lengin delivers on time, and they’re great at budgeting, which allows them to work within the price we’ve agreed on. We’re using ClickUp as our project management tool, and we communicate through Zoom and email.

They definitely have the best pricing for WordPress websites and that’s what we’ve been looking for. We also enjoy talking to them.

I hired their developer for a full time contract and we always had a good communication, he was active in idea generation and reliable in delivering products for the Real Estate industry. He did different tasks like algorithm to match leads with assets for sale, statistical charts, image cropper integration and many other things.

CEO Taras Mashtaler, took care of my satisfaction and they were always open to improve our collaboration. Took my recommendations and implement it quickly.

I was reviewing the developer's work through Bitbucket so i could write any thing i wanted to get fixed in his code. We managed the project tickets through Youtrack, there the developer also estimated his level of effort per task. For instant communication we used a dedicated slack channel.

They are always open to listen to what i have to say even if it was criticism. They always knew how to fulfill everything I asked for in the best way, and this was something.

There were sometimes they had some bugs and i suggested them to always do a double check to see there are no regressions. but it didn't happen so many times so it seems like they took my advise.
