Develop business processes automation system. Develop module for managing an internal base of sailors, a database of shipowners, sailor’s card, and advanced search in fields. Also, the ability to support and manage sailors on contracts, formation, social packages, providing necessary documents and etc. History / finance / payroll management. Automatic generation of necessary documents.

The full team is 5 people. We had three full-stack developers, Project Manager, and QA tester.

The project started in April 2018, and it’s ongoing.

We’re very satisfied. As CEO, my main priority is that my internal project manager is happy, and LemApp is achieving that. Our team is pleased with the deliverables and their results. Feedback from users has shown that there aren’t any issues with the app. We’ll definitely continue to work with LemApp.

How did LemApp perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management has been a positive experience. There have been small issues with the time zone difference because we’re located in the UK and they’re in Europe. But nevertheless, we’ve been able to work through it.

No, I can’t think of anything. I don’t work with them directly.

What challenge were you trying to address with LemApp?

We needed a system that could solve our problems in the following areas:

1. Client management. We needed to develop client relationship system, management of patient data and other files
2. Finance. Full accounting of finance with the integration of third-party applications
3. HR module. For managing time and workload of doctors, scheduling and motivation.
4. Analytics.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We needed to find a team of experts in the construction of such control systems. It was also important for us that the company had experience working with the medical industry.

For a very long time we were looking for a company that could help us, until we were advised by a company from Ukraine Lemapp. After 2 video calls and 1 personal meeting in Bulgaria, we came to the conclusion that lemapp is the
company that can help us.

As a result, they developed an individual ERP system for us consisting of such
subsystems.

Now, each employee, depending on his position, had a different level of access to certain modules. Doctors had their own interface for working with patients and had access only to their own patients.

Front desk has its own interface where they can manage records and see information about upcoming customer visits in order to organize the most favorable visit.

The finance department was connected to the analytics and finance module. Top management had access to all the data. The digital marketer, together with the
administrator, worked in an analytical module to monitor the quality of marketing campaigns.

About 8 people worked on the development of system. Most of them were developers, as well as a project manager and business analytics

Our business parters gave us recommendation to try Lemapp services. Due to lack of developers in Bulgaria, we tried to cooperate with ukrainian development company.

January–June 2019 project was developed. We still use Lemapp’s Support and Maintenance services to upgrade system for our needs.

Unfortunately, we would like to keep the exact numbers a secret, but we can definitely tell in which metrics there were changes:

• Customers retention increased hugely
• Net profit and revenue increased (due to the integration of the client management and analytical system)
• Decreased staff turnover

How did LemApp perform from a project management standpoint?

They work in a scrum methodology. They were good with scheduling and meeting deadlines. The team listened to all our comments and implemented all the functionality in full. The project was put back on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We had negotiations with about 10 companies from Bulgaria and no one met our requirements. Then our partners advised us to turn to Lemapp. We had 2 video calls and 1 meeting in Varna, where Lemapp made it clear to us that they are professionals in development such systems and those who can help us.

The task was to develop an internal platform for the needs of our company and customers. The main feature is that the system must flexibly respond to customer requests and automatically send requests to the CRM system.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We were looking for a company that could develop an internal platform for us. The main functionality of which should be the ability to view prices of agricultural products in real time.

Also, the system should provide different prices, depending on the tier of the client. Also they developed for us various communication functions (e.g. chat with manager), ability to review certificates and check logistics options, as well as integration with the existing CRM system were also implemented.

3 developers and a project manager worked with us. It was 1 front end developer and 2 back end developers.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The system was not implemented to increase metrics, but to simplify interactions with customers. Our company began to spend less time coordinating volumes and contracts for new orders, as they were automatically generated using the internal platform and CRM system. Our customers also noted the convenience and simplicity of using the platform.

How did LemApp perform from a project management standpoint?

From the very beginning of our interaction with the Lemapp, everything was absolutely transparent and clear.

We understand little in development, since our expertise is not in technology, but in the agricultural industry, but thanks to the Lemapp team, together we quickly formed a solution and decided how to implement it. Our main channels of communication were face-to-face meetings, phone calls on Skype with the development team and project manager and channel in Slack.

I am director of independent private hospital. Our company has about 30 doctors and 10 service staff. We provide best possible individual healthcare services.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal was to develop mobile application for our clients. So they should be able to have easy access to their time schedule, their files , treatment etc. We wanted to increase our customer engagement and retention through mob. app.

We held a tender among Ukrainian development companies. Main reason why we choose Lemapp, because they’ve already had large experience in Healthcare industry and especially in mobile development for Healthcare. Also they had case studies on their website about their projects. By the way their price was absolutely out of competition. So at the end we had perfect balance between price and quality. Also they have outstanding designing team.

Describe the project in detail.

We started from discovery meetings and analysis stage. After we agreed on the entire functionality of the application. We moved on to the design creation part, on this part the Lemapp team provided us with 5 design variants, each of which was better than the other. Next stage was development. In 1 month Lemapp provided demo application for iOS and after a few iterations we agreed all design and functionality moments. By the end for third month we started testing both android and iOS mobile application. And at the middle of July job was completely done.

What was the team composition?

We were contacting with project manager / BA Ekaterina who were supporting us on all stages of application development. Also I was made aware that there were 1 designer and 4 mobile developers ( Android / iOS) working on our project, as well as QA at the end of the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After 6 month after we launched our mobile application we received tons of positive feedbacks from our clients. So as we can see our customer satisfaction increased hugely. Also we made an short survey among our clients to see their satisfaction from mobile app and how useful it was for them. And our expectations were 100% met. All customers noted that UI/UX was absolutely amazing and functionality met all their needs.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our project manager was supporting us along all stages of development process. She were providing us updates frequently and it was easy to communicate with her. We were connected over Zoom, Slack and Telegram. Lemapp team worked ahead of schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by the timeliness of the team. Every team member had huge experience in the field they work with. Also our PM Ekaterina shared a lot of insights about user experience, development process and best practices for mobile development in healthcare industry. I certainly can recommend Lemapp to my partners because they are specialists in mobile app development.

We were satisfied with their work. They have done more than we asked for.
