The main value of working with Leetio was how quickly the platform became stable and predictable. They took ownership across frontend and backend. Core user flows were rebuilt on React, while the Node microservices layer was simplified and aligned.
Catalog and checkout were adapted for mobile traffic, and the backend converged around a single API gateway, inventory synchronization, Stripe and PayPal payments, Redis-based sessions, and CDN delivery. The result was a shared UI foundation, cleaner integrations, faster services, and a completed migration.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After release, the platform ran without production incidents and remained responsive under live traffic. Page load times stayed below one and a half seconds, compared to four to five seconds previously. Checkout drop-offs decreased based on post-launch analytics, and the system now supports several times the earlier level of concurrent usage before performance declines. The client chose to continue the engagement beyond the original scope.

The team showed strong ownership and practical judgment throughout the project. On the frontend, they challenged design choices that would have increased long-term maintenance cost. On the backend, potential issues were identified and addressed early before becoming blockers. Their staff augmentation model fit our working style well, with engineers handling changing priorities calmly and operating as part of the team rather than as external contributors

Are there any areas for improvement or something Leetio could have done differently?

There were no material issues that affected delivery or outcomes. As with most complex projects, it took some initial time to fully absorb the client’s domain specifics, which is expected and did not impact progress. We also identified a few scheduling constraints around holidays that could have been anticipated earlier, primarily on our side. Overall, these were minor operational details rather than areas of concern, and they did not change our decision to continue working together on subsequent projects

Leetio delivered all assigned work on time without compromising quality, leading to the successful delivery of the entire project. Worth noting that the timeline for the job assigned to them was extremely tight but they adapted quickly, worked efficiently and had to work long shifts to deliver their part of the job.
