The task was to find not just a technical executor but a partner company that would share our values and maintain the level of quality we need, and develop our goals in the future. We conducted interviews with the Lampa team they had to offer. We found such a partner in the face of Lampa software.

So far, hard to say. We are satisfied with the work and gladly recommend cooperation with Lampa Software.

During our journey to find a vendor, we interviewed and tried over 20 companies. Lampa came out on top with their excellent communication, quality work, and speed.

We delivered their team our Figma prototype and had a couple of discovery meetings to discuss anything that wasn't clear. After requirements were clear, their team broke everything down into milestones and they have not stopped meeting the mark yet!

We have a project manager and a Flutter developer working on our project currently. I will be increasing the team size soon.

After the initial launch we were able to land a contract with our first client and the app currently has over 1000 downloads and 5 star reviews!

The project manager is easy to work with. I get constant updates and anytime I need them, they are usually just a slack message away. Very responsive and never miss deadlines.

We worked with around 10 different developers from Lampa. Denys was our head of development and did an incredible job managing our team of IOS, Android, backend developers as well as QA.

Working with Lampa has been a pleasure. Denys Ivanov was in charge of running the team and he has been incredible. We used asana, slack and zoom to stay in touch and keep everyone constantly updated on open tasks and timelines.

We are amazed by their passion and drive to deliver the highest standard of product and professionalism. Communication with the team has always been easy and fun and their continuous passion to bring the highest level of development has made them very easy to work with.

We have been working with Lampa now for several years, even during the invasion of Ukraine, their commitment , professionalism and dedication have been unwavering. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I am the co-founder of a startup in the construction equipment management space. I lead all technical operations, including managing engineering resources and data analytics.

For what projects/services did your company hire Lampa?

We hired Lampa to build a companion mobile application to our core web application. Since we are in the construction space, many of our users split their time between the office and a jobsite, so they needed a way to access many of the core jobsite services through a mobile app.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to build an MVP in Flutter which we could bring to market alongside our core product launch in Q1 of 2021. This application needed to preserve the design aesthetic of the web app but also interact seamlessly with our backend API solutions.

SOLUTION

How did you select Lampa?

We solicited offers for a fixed-bid project from about 20 different vendors, and narrowed it down to 5 or so which were within our price range and had developed similar applications in Flutter previously.

We interviewed each of the 5 final vendors, ultimately selecting Lampa because we believed they had the right combination of development skill, pricing, and collaborative operations (we were building an MVP pre-GTM, so we expected a lot of scope creep and modifications).

The overall scope was to take our high fidelity designs (marvelapp), our API infrastructure (Swagger docs), and requirements (waterfall style) and create the functional MVP. The business provided high fidelity wireframes and designs twice, once using Marvelapp and once in Figma. There were also extensive requirements documentation.

What was the team composition?

There were 3 people primarily involved in the project from Lampa's side - 1 manager/sales leader, 1 project manager, and 1 primary developer. I believe Lampa utilized several QA analysts and potentially a designer in our first milestone, but I never communicated with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Although the project ran 2 months past deadline (mostly due to delays and scope creep on our end), the app was finally deployed to the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store in early March. We are still in the midst of go to market for our product, so it's too early to put any KPIs against it performance-wise.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow with the development team was wonderful. I had no trouble reaching out to and coordinating with their primary developer, who was very responsive and very good.

We used a combination of Jira, Google Drive (Sheets, Docs), and Loom for communication regarding the project. We utilized Swagger Docs as a primary provider of structure API queries for testing. Generally no problems with response to feedback, and no language barrier or time difference issues.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were very collaborative and very open to discussion. This was my first time building a mobile application, and the team was great at making UX recommendations to improve our initial designs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The only area where I would have liked more would be on the project management side, with a little more pro-active management of deadlines and deliverables. That being said, many of the delays were caused on our end so I don't fault it too much.

Once we selected Lampa, we had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. Within the first month, we received the project agenda. After a few months, we got an alpha version of a web application. Within a year iOS and Android mobile apps were built as well.

Initially, we were assigned a project manager to support us and serve as the main point of contact throughout the project. We only spoke with our project manager, but I was made aware that there were 1 frontend, 1 backend developer, 1 iOS developer, 1 Android developer working behind the scenes.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In a year we got MVP of the product that consists of 1 web application for the practitioner and two mobile applications for patients.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager that we were assigned was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We connected over the Zoom at least once a month and used Slack for all other communication. Overall, I was impressed by the timelines of the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They got deeper into the project and always tried to find an effective solution. It was easy to communicate with everybody in the team.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything can always be done faster, but we were very satisfied with their work every step of the way. In the end, quality is more important than speed and we ended up with a beautiful product.

I am the project manager at a company that operates in the area of carbon emission reduction and renewable energy projects.

Our company's mobile application was created approximately 5 years ago, and in 2019 we were deciding on the updating of its Android version and on the developing of the application for iOS devices. So, we hired Lampa to improve UX/UI design and for front-end and back-development.

What were your goals for this project?

The main goal of our project is to foster pro-climate behavior change and promote climate change and environmental education with the use of Climate Drops mobile application.

Our objectives are to promote climate-friendly activities aiming to engage 20 000 users during the first year after the App's update, to stimulate climate change education at schools, vocational and higher educational institutions, and to engage business partners to foster demand for the Climate Drops App and encouraging businesses themselves to adopt climate-conscious decisions.

How did you select Lampa?

Our team searched online for app developers in the area, then we chose seven companies and gathered reviews on their services. After that, we sent Terms of Reference to five companies in order to evaluate their offers.

After thorough evaluation we chose Lampa Studio Team as it has the best offer in terms of the whole of the price, great functional and timing.

Climate Drops app tracks and rewards environmentally friendly actions of its users to protect the environment and climate of our planet. Green actions of the app’s users are tracked and converted into electronic points with their further exchange for discounts or prizes provided by App’s partners.

For Android version of the App Lampa Team updated such subsections as Smart Buildings, Waste Recycling, Trees Planting and Ecotransport, and added a new one – Education.

Now the app offers information materials and tests on the climate change, waste recycling, energy efficiency etc. Passing the tests a user earns drops and has a possibility to deepen the knowledge on the specific topics through the provided links. For iOS platform the app was developed from scratch.

What was the team composition?

As far as I know, at least one back-end developer and two front-end developers were involved. We were contacting through the project manager that was assigned.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The last version of the app was launched in the end of 2020. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus restrictions it is hard to evaluate the app's success. However, we have received positive feedback from our users about its usability, look and additional functional.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We are totally satisfied with the project manager assigned and the way that Lampa managed communication. In addition to regular online meetings, we had a possibility of almost instant communication with the project manager that was very useful to resolve quick issues and to have updates regarding our app`s development.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive was the company`s way of communication - immediate, useful and effective.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We are still working with Lampa to improve some features of the app, additionally to the agreed ToR. Overall, we are satisfied with timing and the improvements made.

I needed a friendly user App for buying and selling goods with all related features: create accounts, sell, buy and chat between users.

How did you select Lampa?

Myself with the help of a tech recruiter interviewed few companies and developers. I choose Lampa because their technical skills met the requests of the project; and also they have a problem solving approach to the job.

It is a buying and selling App. It is targeted for two main type of users: Private users and companies. There are different categories in order to create a wider audience of users Users can upload products to sell. Or simply buy. Users can like items or message other sellers.

I haven't launch the App yet as I am still working on the Marketing Strategy, and I might want to add some features before the launch. Obviously I would use Lampa again!

We had a very efficient communication. I received regular updates; they were really punctual in meeting deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They really met expectations and they developed the App as requested, solving problems as they emerged. They were flexible in accomodating our request whenever we had a change of mind. And when we felt insecure about something they offered the best solution.

Not that I can think of.

The app works stable and published in Google Play Store. Constant work on the application improvement is in ongoing process.

Project Manager was supporting me and arranged coordination between me and Lampa Studio thanks to which we are able to add new features, update design and make the project run stable and consistent.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Great people from Lampa Studio became friends of me and did (and are still doing) their best to create this app in the best possible way. Communication and great problem solving skills make this partnership extremely satisfying.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At the beginning I was going to make all the things as fast as possible, but finally I'm happy with the result as the speed is not the best way to make the things good. Maybe things can be done faster, but I still believe that ideas do need their time to become fully mature and clear. Speed is definitely not the only factor in such projects and it needs patience.

We have discovered 5 middle companies to patcipate in out tander. After the 3 roundes of challenge Lampa Studio Team won the bids with the middle price and with great functional and timing proposal.

Implementation of the idea of ​​a mobile application, where each user can share their secrets and revelations anonymously, as a mobile application for iOS and Android platforms, was an interesting and fascinating experience. A special emphasis was put on the anonymity of users, work with the geolocation of each post and search for secrets nearby based on the results of the geo position.

As a result, realized fast, convenient, functional and modern application with a beautiful design, user-friendly interface, sorting secrets by popularity and date, filtering secrets nearby, sharing secrets into categories and convenient search. From the technical point of view, the project implemented full-fledged work with geolocation, built-in database, data caching, authorization through social networks, user’s personal cabinet, various push notifications.

The user can write secrets, comments, put likes/dislikes, share his and other people’s secrets with friends, as well as many other pleasant details for comfortable reading. What to do when you are bored? Open “In short”! This is not only interesting stories and news, but also communication in the comments and excellent humor.

With the app rating in stores above the mark of 4.7 points. The application is scheduled to be updated in 2019.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was supporting us and arranged coordination between our teams from the scratch till nowdays by adding new features, updating design and adding latest features to the application

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The Lampa Studio Team became for us even more then a friend, alredy 3 years they are providing development solutions for my product using the latest trends and guidelines for iOS and Android versions and implementing a new design according to newest UI/UX solutions and tools.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At the beginning I was going to make all the things as fast as possible, but finaly I'm happy with the result as the speed is not the best way to make the things good. I think we could make it faster but I don't think it would be good for our project. By now Lampa Studio are renewing the design and code refactoring.

Within 8 months we launched over 5 projects, which satisfy the needs of clients. We appreciate the usability, flow, and look of the apps.

The developer was easy to communicate with, we connected over the phone at least once in a couple of days and used messengers for all other communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We have worked with other agencies for different areas of work, and this one was productive and collaborative. I will certainly engage with the company again for any mobile app needs that we have in the future.

It was quite a positive experience, sometimes we were not satisfied with the work estimate. We ended up with good and high-quality products.
