The site is user-friendly and has all the information about our business. On the other hand, the CRM solution is a dedicated platform for our sales department; it’s only for our international salespeople. Additionally, Lama Media offers maintenance and hosting services.

We work with around four people. The CEO is our main point of contact, and there’s one project manager and two people working under him.

We needed help designing, developing, and deploying two websites.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lama Media designed and developed our website from scratch. We started with some meetings at our company, and then they began creating the website, including iTracking, which was cool for us to see and get to know what's important for our guests. It took a few weeks after we received the final concept of the website, and we also needed access to the CMS to edit news on the website, which they provided via WordPress.

The core features include functionality for customers to buy their tickets. There's also basic information about the water museum, what it looks like, what people can see inside, and how much time they need to spend. In addition, they added a blog where we can add news via the CMS.

Currently, they're doing further development and deployment work.

They were referred to us by someone who knew about their work.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

I appreciate the amount of contact we have; we are in touch a few times during the week through phone calls and email — it's really easy to get a hold of them.

How did Lama Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is good; they stay within timelines and budget. Also, we plan everything quarterly, and they always follow the plans accordingly. Regarding communication, we use phone calls, email, and Teams, and before the pandemic, we met in person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their availability is their strong point; they always respond on the same day to answer our questions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think they can improve on anything — they're good at their job, and I recommend them to everyone.

I work for Aquapark Wrocław in Poland, which consists of zones like a sports pool, recreational pool, a saunarium, and a gym. We have 1.6 million visitors every year, which makes us the leader of the branch in this part of Europe. I'm the head of the marketing department.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lama Media?

We wanted an attractive website to include the information our clients might need together with multimedia. Because of the complexity of Aquapark Wrocław, we needed someone to support us not only with technical solutions but also with ideas of how to provide information in a user-friendly and attractive way. We also wanted to enrich and develop the website with an online shop to help our clients to buy our services via Internet.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lama Media helped us with both the design and development of the website. We had our own creative team of two graphic designers who were responsible for controlling the visual concepts of Lama Media. We started with picking examples of interesting websites to give them an idea of how we would like our website to look like. We also spent a lot of time discussing what should be presented and how. They presented solutions that we could analyze. The real challenge was the second stage of the cooperation when the website was already complete, but we wanted to create a selling platform for our passes and tickets. This required not only user-friendly feasibilities but also the knowledge of how to integrate our electronic customer service with the new platform. Although it wasn't easy, Lama Media managed to do it fluently.

For two years, our new website and shopping platform were serviced by Lama Media. We're ending the contract because Lama Media has changed their business model, but they're supporting us with a new company who will service us.

We worked on an hourly system. I had one key account manager who worked with me and supported me during the whole process.

How did you come to work with Lama Media?

We are a company that belongs to the city authorities, which means we are a public institution which obliges us to look carefully through the market for the best offers. We picked Lama Media among many other possibilities based on their experience, portfolio, and the value of the contract they proposed.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from January to October 2016 to build the website. They've been helping us with the maintenance since then.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We noticed an increase in income thanks to the new selling platform. Thanks to the new website and the technologies used, we are capable of setting Internet campaigns that use the power of social media and Google AdWords. Those all work together with our website, which is a great advantage for us.

For the past two years, I haven't noticed many problems. If they occurred, they were solved quickly. The service was reliable.

How did Lama Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They did a fine job. I was satisfied with the contact they provided us with. I had all the information I needed at each level, and if there were any problems, I was informed about them in advance. The process proceeded properly, corresponding with the timetable we created at the beginning of our cooperation.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I felt comfortable with the contact they provided. I could ask anything and get answers quickly. At each level of the project, I knew exactly what was going on and what I should be expecting.

The World Games is a multi-sport event in Wroclaw, Poland organized by my government institution. I am the promotion coordinator.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lama Media?

We had to build a completely new website. We had the domain, but nothing more.  We knew that we wanted to do it with a good partner because we needed an international website used by sports fans all over the world. We needed a partner who understood our needs. Lama Media was a perfect choice because they were experienced in international business, and they knew our goals. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The website was built in two languages, English and Polish, and had some features that were very helpful for users, including integrated calendars and Google Maps. 

Unfortunately, 6 months before the event kickoff, we had to change the project drasitcally for political reasons. We were required to change providers and end our fantastic cooperation with Lama Media. The Lama team at the time was fully focused on developing this website, and they were really the best partner for the project.

Out of the project with three phases, Lama completed the first and second phases. They were fully responsible for the design of the website. We had a brief, and we decided to operate it on a CMS, which in the end was WordPress.

I worked with 2 project managers, Michael and the owner of the company.

Lama Media has a fantastic reputation in Wroclaw, and we wanted to work with a company with good reviews. We heard feedback from partners from another sport event and the city that they were a really good partner for websites. They also gave us the best offer from the market. They were the best of the 10–15 agencies we considered. Their brief and their price was why we chose them.

We started working together in September 2014, and the site was launched in November.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It was a fantastic relationship, and the quality of the website was great. Our team had trouble understanding what we wanted from the website, but Lama Meda showed us how to build the perfect website and use the Internet as a tool. We knew that we would like to have a beautiful site, but they said that a beautiful site is nothing when it isn’t perfect as a tool, and they did it.

How did Lama Media perform from a project management standpoint?

We had a lot of meetings and phone calls. We did sprints to complete the project. Managing of this project was simple because they were always on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They understood the meaning of the website which is a useful tool when you do it right. We as the organizing committee thought that the website should be pretty, and that’s enough. Lama Media always said that that wasn't enough. We needed a tool that was beautiful, and also useful. Now we are totally agreed that this is the best way to promote our event. The team was fully focused and engaged in developing these solutions. Without them, this website couldn’t be as perfect as it is.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so. Everything was perfect, and our cooperation was also perfect. They really understood our problems and knew what to do. They always assured me not to panic because they could take care of it.

I work for the Wroclaw City Promotion Office. I’ve been with the institution for 20 years and am currently its vice director. We are a municipal company promoting the city of Wroclaw, Poland, for tourists as well as its citizens, showing them the fantastic place we live in. Sometimes, even though we may live in a city, we may not know a lot about it, so we make an effort to provide this education for people.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lama Media?

We were preparing a promotional campaign regarding a Polish national holiday. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lama Media helped us create our promotional campaign for Social Workers’ day on November 21st. We focused on encouraging kindness between people but also promoted the city itself.

We have also worked with Lama Media on designing and developing 6 or 7 of our websites, including the official website of Wroclaw and ones for various projects. They also produced articles and photos for those sites.

We have used Lama Media’s services for social media campaigns following our initial campaign. Facebook wasn’t a very popular medium in 2008, but we have started social media work. All of our work with Lama Media has been online-based.

We’ve also put together a contest around registrations for higher-education schools. Foreign students, especially from Ukraine and other Eastern Europe countries, were encouraged to register, take part in a questionnaire, and start their studies in Wroclaw.

I believe that Lama Media initially contacted our office with an offer. They were a young team just finishing their studies, and they had started a new business. My previous boss decided to start working with Lama Media after they delivered some nice designs for us.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

Lama Media gives us reports detailing the success of their work. Our results have been fantastic, and we like their work. Our initial campaign had a very good response and led to the holiday becoming commonly known in Poland.

Wroclaw’s official website is a well-known page, as are our other pages, both locally and across Poland. Lama Media has helped us very much in this regard.

Lama Media was open to our ideas and the problems we needed to solve and offered their own suggestions.

Everything was completed on time. We were able to call Lama Media’s team for any changes we needed to have done, and the communication was good overall. I’m very pleased to be working with them.

Lama Media was a very young team when we first started. Even so, they were very professional and have continued to be. I know that many other companies have started working with them since that time.

We were able to bring our problems to them and find ways to solve them, from marketing to technical support.

Wroclaw University of Science and Technology is one of the biggest technology academic institutions in Poland and the biggest university in the Lower Silesian Center for Advanced Technology. We have a community of 40,000 students and employees. I am the chief of marketing and promotions.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lama Media?

We needed help with marketing for the student recruitment process. The demographic data regarding candidates for students in Poland is getting worse; there is a steady decrease of high school graduates. Therefore, our main goal was to preserve the number of candidates that apply to Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lama Media created graphic designs for our marketing material and managed our Google AdWords, Facebook, and Twitter campaigns. They also handled our Snapchat campaign later on. We also advertise on billboards and have collaborated with promotional gifts companies. All the work revolved around our recruitment process.

Lama Media also designed and developed several versions of our informational website.

I had known Lama Media’s owner for ten years. We worked together on a campaign to promote Wroclaw as a place to get higher education for in the municipality. When I needed support at the university, my first thought was “I need Lama Media”.

We started working with Lama Media in November 2013. We are still collaborating.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I am very satisfied with the collaboration. Lama Media’s members are very personable and skilled individuals.

Our university annually accepts about 11-12 thousand students. Thanks to the various activities conducted with or designed by Lama Media, we recorded a 3% increase in the number of applicants in the first year of our cooperation. Over the years, the number of people applying to study at our university has not dropped, despite the fact that year by year the number of high school graduates in Poland is decreasing.

In addition to this, our jointly implemented campaigns have received excellent social reception and were rewarded by the media. Wroclaw University of Science and Technology has gained the image of a university bravely reacting to new communication solutions (we were among the first Polish universities with Snapchat profile). We have a rich and thoughtful visual identify and carefully crafted content in our communicated messages. Undoubtedly, when it comes to promotion, Wrocław University of Science and Technology is the best university in the country.

The communication was good. Lama Media is a professional team, and I’m glad to have worked with them. We kept in touch mainly through phone and email. We had no problems regarding deadlines.

We provide multi-day tours to Central Asia for clients from Europe, North America, and other Western countries. Our agency was founded last year, and we are based in Switzerland. We mostly sell our services online, through our website. I am the CEO of the company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lama Media?

We wanted the ability to offer tours online through a nice website which offered signup functionalities for groups of private tours. We didn't know anything about websites and needed an agency which could build one from scratch. We needed someone who could also provide some general advice on how to run and market such an online business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We contacted Lama Media within our early stages, before even founding the company. We presented our ideas and business model and received some suggestions around how the website should look and function. We eventually met Lama Media in Poland for a two-day workshop and discussed our whole strategy. We came to an agreement on what the website's scope would be. We put together a 50-page memorandum which was used as a business plan.

Lama Media worked on our branding, coming up with a logo, and a business card layout. Following up on this, we started the whole website design and development. Lama Media is also taking care of its maintenance.

The site is informational and does not include a payment gateway. We have a booking system, an external live chat function, as well as tour search based on budget, start dates, and other criteria. We also have the ability to feature certain tours, and we can make any changes ourselves. The whole website was designed to be editable.

In the beginning, we came up with an online marketing strategy, built different personas, and worked with Lama Media on this after the site was finished. They designed some Facebook ads and set up our account, but we have come to do this ourselves. Lama Media also set up our MailChimp newsletter.

How did you come to work with Lama Media?

We searched for agencies outside of Switzerland, since local ones are very expensive. We contacted around 20 of them from different countries. We had a few Skype calls discussing everything, and Lama Media made a very good impression on us. I believe that we originally found them on Awwwards.com, where they had some nice websites listed. Instead of wanting to take as much money from us as possible, Lama Media wanted to help us spend our budget wisely.

The cost of Lama Media's work has been around $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Lama Media in April 2016. The website was finished in December. We have an ongoing maintenance contract with Lama Media. They continue to make changes when we request it.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We have had 50 bookings already, which is the most important success metric for us. We are happy with the outcome; the website was finished in time and was more or less within budget.

The site's functionalities are what they should be. Any mistakes we identified were small, like the layout not looking good on some mobile devices. Lama Media could fix these issues quickly through our maintenance contract.

We've heard very good feedback from everyone who's seen the website. They've mentioned that it looks great, and everyone seems able to find what they want.

How did Lama Media perform from a project management standpoint?

In the beginning, when Lama Media started the development process, they had a different approach. I remember that during the process, they moved to the Scrum methodology, which meant that we started working in sprints. I liked that a lot better, since it gave us weekly goals, making it easier for us to measure the progress of the development. We didn't have any problems regarding deadlines, and Lama Media communicated what we could expect from each sprint and in total. We did have additional change requests which extended the deadlines, but, from Lama Media's side, everything was delivered on time. There were some technical delays, but they were never a big issue.

What did you find most impressive about Lama Media?

Lama Media cared about our business, and always had the big picture in mind. We don't know that much about websites, so it was important to receive feedback about our ideas. When Lama Media didn't like one, they usually suggested a better approach in the end, even if that meant that they would be earning less money. Lama Media was interested in our business results from the very beginning. They always created a minimum viable solution and improved it from there.

Are there any areas Lama Media could improve?

It would have been nice to have Lama Media start right away with a scrum approach, and not switch after a few months since the project went much better after that. I've been happy with everything aside from this.

Wielton has been building its position in the industry for years through organic growth and foreign acquisitions. In the recent years, the company has joined a group of the biggest trailer and semi-trailer producers in the world.

At present, Wielton Group, which employs almost 2,000 people, is the third biggest trailer and semi-trailer producer in Europe. It is also in the top ten of world representatives of this industry. Wielton products are sold in 35 countries. The company has an extensive network of service centers which currently consist of over 500 centers in 22 European countries, 30 of which are located in Italy.

The big potential of the Group is recognized not only by the customers and business partners but also investors. Wielton S.A. has been listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2007 and last year it almost doubled its capitalization.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lama Media?

We started cooperating with Lama Media in 2012. Our first project was focused on our new website. The business challenge was to make a brand new website for the company. The goal of the partnership was to come up with the concept of a product-oriented website, also websites for our subsidiaries and dealer’s websites. Now, we are working on the two big projects: the Wielton Group corporate website, brand new because the structure of the company has changed, and a brand new product-oriented website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lama Media was to build the websites from scratch. The specific services included: web development, project management, and maintenance services.

How did you come to work with Lama Media?

There was a bid in 2012. We selected Lama Media because they had the best idea for the projects, they had a professional attitude and project management approach, and overall a good harmony with us.

So far, the projects have cost $80,000. By the end of the year, the cost will be around $110,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Until now, the projects have been delivered on time. There were different deadlines for the projects because of their complexity. Since February, we have been working on two big projects which we plan to finish by the end of June. We are planning new projects with Lama Media until the end of the year.

We have had a significant number of increases on Google Analytics, and direct inquiries about our products.
