We hired KudosIntech for their development services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, I gave the KudosIntech team some ideas and documents about how I wanted the app to look. Then, they built wireframes and diagrams for the app. From there, we went back and forth until the app was finished. 

So far, I’ve been working with KudosIntech for about seven years, and they’ve helped me with everything from the conception of my idea to the development of the app. They’ve built the entire structure of our platform and streamlined our process. Essentially, they now serve as my development team. They ensure the app is working and all updates are done, and their resources tell me about what we can do to follow industry standards. 

For features, the app is available for both Android and iOS users. It’s a complex product with a social media aspect — it links to Facebook, Instagram, and other similar platforms. It has a newsfeed where users can post or comment on what they see. Moreover, the app allows users to make contributions to each other, so it has credit card processing features. The team has designed the product’s backend database. It even has API integrations with major companies. They’ve also designed the app’s website.

I found KudosIntech through a local team I worked with in the early stages of my company. That company helped me with my website. During one meeting, they told me my project was above what they could do. They then recommended and introduced me to KudosIntech.

I’ve spent somewhere between $50,000–$200,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in January 2016, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I wouldn’t know where I’d be without KudosIntech. They do all the tech aspects of my business and have become a major part of it. 

How did KudosIntech Software Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is great. The team comes up with various ideas for achieving our goals and how much things will cost. Whenever we talk about our next milestone, they’re great at telling me what changes or integrations we can make. 

Further, they know exactly how long something will take and plan accordingly — 99% of the time, if they tell something will take four weeks, they finish it within around three weeks. Apart from that, they’re great at prioritizing releases. If I want them to do 10 features, they tell me which ones can be released first and which ones to release later. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

When I struggle, KudosIntech is willing to do something in another way so I can understand what they’re doing. Overall, they’ve made my life easier. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. They’ve never let me down and do everything I need. If anything, I’m the one that needs to improve and keep up with them. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open-minded. Do what KudosIntech says, and listen to them. 

In our partnership, I’ve had some ideas that differed from theirs, and I wasted some time not listening to them. With that in mind, it’s best to lay out your needs and then listen to what they say will be best for your scenario. The team will help your project get going. 

In other words, communicate and be open to their ideas. Organize your notes and ideas, and give them time to review them and understand your goals — hear them out and let them do what they do.

Their team is professional, polite, responsive, flexible and, most importantly, reliable! They deliver on time, on budget and with minimal fuss. We have found KudosIntech to be honest and up-front at all times. Their communications skills are generally very good.

Over the past 9 years, KudosIntech Software Pvt. Ltd. has performed consistently, often exceeding our expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something KudosIntech Software Pvt. Ltd. could have done differently?

On rare occasions, the intended purpose of a business/functional requirement can get “lost in translation” and requires a more detailed discussion. Sometimes, delivery timescales have slipped (which is not that unusual in technology projects!). Frequent and timely communication is essential to maintain momentum and good customer/supplier relations.

CASEN Connect is a social media application (app) that is by invitation only which avoids unintended parties from gaining access to children. CASEN Connect is designed to help children who may have special, social, and/or emotional needs behave appropriately while using social media. This app is designed as a precursor for other social media platforms.

For what projects/services did your company hire KudosIntech Software Pvt. Ltd.?

KudosIntech helped us build a platform from scratch. They took my vision for the app and created it via a web browser. The plan is to work out the kinks and duplicate the system for Android and Apple applications.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

KudosIntech came highly recommended to me from my attorney.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We had an idea to create a safe space for children, focusing on children with learning and thinking differences, to become appropriate on social media. This system is by invitation only and we teach children about bullying identification. KudosIntech created three platforms with a funnel for the platforms to determine the appropriate placement for the children. They also created a platform for the question of the day that would test the children's knowledge on bullying. There are five levels for the questions. Once the children graduate from all five levels, they are able to have their individual accounts on the platform.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked directly with Princy and occasionally with Sam. I do not know how many agents worked with the design of the website.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The site looks amazing. There are currently a few bugs that we are working on to make things run more smoothly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We worked extremely well together.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Princy worked very closely with us to make sure that we were on the same page. Anytime they were unsure of our requests, they always asked for clarification. I am very pleased with her professionalism.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There are not really any improvements at this time because they are willing to work with us on any identified issues that come up.We are extremely satisfied with their service, at this time.
