I’m the CEO of an e-commerce website that works within the cannabis industry. We help put all of the vendors — growers, dispensaries, and manufacturers — in contact with the vendors they need to be successful. We also work with lighting and solar companies, or anyone else that would touch the cannabis industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with KrishaWeb?

We were looking to create something completely new and different from anything anyone had ever seen.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, we sat down and had a conversation about what we were looking for. We gave KrishaWeb our best description, they gave us examples back, and they went from there. I’m not known for being an artist, but I gave them my best PaintShop logo, and they took it and turned it into something professional and catchy. KrishaWeb not only took my ideas and brought them to fruition, but they also created the entire image that I had in my mind as part of their package.

For the website, they did everything from development and design. Everything was done 100% custom; we didn’t use any predetermined layout because what we wanted didn’t exist. KrishaWeb designed all the pages, but my team and I decided on the content. On the other hand, the branding has been handled mainly by us, and they’ve only helped us professionalize what we wanted to do.

Now, our collaboration has grown, and they’re helping us with additional global marketing as we expand. They’ve taken the majority of our marketing, and we’ll be using Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Google. Their team is coming out with its idea of an advertising schedule and releases, and they give that to us to review and approve. They manage most of our accounts on our behalf, and they’re also doing our SEO.

The team is close to 10 people, and we currently have four main points of contact.

How did you come to work with KrishaWeb?

We searched online and reached out to several companies before actually settling on KrishaWeb. I liked their presentation and how they conducted themselves. Other companies had given me the impression that they didn’t care if we worked with them or not, and that’s not how I would treat a customer. KrishaWeb didn’t talk to us that way.

To date, we’ve spent $66,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in November 2020, and it’s an ongoing project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been live for four days, so there aren’t many metrics. Nonetheless, KrishaWeb’s impact has been phenomenal. We haven’t had any negative feedback, and we’ve passed along their work to more than 120 businesses. Everyone has liked the name, logo, and setup.

How did KrishaWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been on top of it. We just went live, so the first phase of our agreement is done. They gave us 60-day product support with one week of 24-hour show-stopper situations. We did have an issue, so we called them, and they immediately answered the phone, although there is a time difference. They got to work without questions, and that’s what I would do as a business owner. Therefore, seeing management have that kind of ownership and control, I thought it was very powerful.

For communication, we have all of our discussions about the website and different phases of the project through Basecamp. Beyond that, we email and have phone calls if it’s needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When we first started, they were very eager to work. We could see that they just wanted to do more, and that was appreciated. That was what made us want to work with them, along with pricing, turnaround times, and their ideas about what the project could be.

Other companies only listen and ask when they can start, but KrishaWeb isn’t like that. Instead, they get into the project. Their passion is what sets them apart.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Probably the only thing I’d do would be to give them more people so they could run 24/7. I’d wish they’d be bigger so we could have more access.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be prepared for the time difference; it’s the only kind of issue whatsoever. KrishaWeb is amazing, but all of my conversations start at 10 p.m.

They have process of daily work submission and code commit process to review the progress on our end with ease.

We were able to launch the product in 3 months as expected. Their team has helped us in getting it live on a technical level as well.

We hired KrishaWeb for the heavy part of the backend-development for very specific demands and requirements from our clients. Using KrishaWeb allowed us to do anything that client required, because of their ability to do custom coded solutions with both Drupal & Wordpress.

How did you select KrishaWeb and what were the deciding factors?

By chance KrishaWeb had helped develop an official Drupal module (open source modules for Drupal Websites) We ran into a problem with it and got in touch with Girish at KrishaWeb through drupal.org as he was the module maintainer. After that we realized we could definitely strengthen our position in the market by extending our skills through KrishaWeb. Their ability to handle any task at reasonable estimates along with acting quickly and being super service-minded is why we chose them and keep using them as our Partner.

I'm going to mention one example - because we have done many projects together and in general for some projects KrishaWeb helps with some smaller tasks as our support and extended development team. One project we did was creating a Housing portal for companies and regular people for a specific geographical area in Denmark.

The project was planned as a Drupal 8 website where the custom requirements were entirely handled by Krishaweb. This included handling the payment for properties, renewing the visibility of it on the website as the owner amongst other things. The client had many specific requirements and all were met by KrishaWeb within their original estimates for the project.

We are involved with about 6 or so from KrishWeb's team. For some projects, we have a project manager and a developer. But for most the contact is directly to the developer which is definitely great. It works well to hand over a task to a web developer as we can clear up any questions fast and they can get to work on the task.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Some clients have truely been amazed by custom coded solutions making their life easier. For example KrishaWeb did a custom PDF export for an e-commerce site that generated a flyer like PDF with the selected products that the client easily picked themselves.

We use slack to communicate and that works great. They are fair in their estimates and meet deadlines. They are also honest if they are not able to do something sudden in the same day for example. Great communication overall. We also use tools like Bitbucket for code management, works very well and they are very much ahead and will recommend alternatives if they know better tools.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

One of the best things is definitely their ability to provide a great customer service and act quickly when required.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think the only thing I can think of would be to request meetings with us more often, if they need more information regarding details of a project. But they have done this in the past regardless. Overall we are very satisfied with all areas of their business.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They skillfully handled both web projects. Everyone I contact likes the graphics and text. The technical aspects are fluid and responsive, doing exactly what I what them to do.

KrishaWeb has 5–6 offices worldwide but I was able to talk with the owner. While everyone had great capabilities, the owner constantly checked the project to make sure everything was done right. He had total command of the process and ensured that his team understood the strategy to execute against it.

How did KrishaWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

We mostly communicated by phone, email, and Basecamp. It was totally successful. The goalposts moved throughout the project because there was initial ambiguity. As my needs became clearer, they handled each step of the expansion responsibly and capably. Their team guided me through the process, so I was satisfied.

I was impressed by their responsiveness and hands-on flexibility. On top of all of that, they’re good people. It was easy to work with them.

A couple of days ago, I couldn’t find where to change something, and I reached out to them. They took care of it quickly and told me how to do it. They always help when I have any questions. I know how to navigate a little bit, but I can send them a quick email, and they are responsive. I am really happy with what they have delivered.

How did KrishaWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

They are good at meeting deadlines. Most of the time they are really good, and maybe once or twice I’ve had to wait a little longer, but I can’t complain.

Compared to others, I’d say that they are quite fast at responding. They even made a video to illustrate what I needed to do on the site to solve a specific issue. I found that to be really helpful.

KrishaWeb was hired for two projects:

1. Improve our current landing pages that are used for PPC traffic. For this project, Krishaweb designed and built two pages in Hubspot.
2. Update and enhance various elements of our Wordpress site, including enhancements and automation to our Woocommerce instance.

What were your goals for this project?

With project 1, to increase our lead conversion rates by A/B testing both landing page designs in Hubspot. With project 2, we wanted to achieve more automation for the ecommerce portion of our website, and also to enhance and improve certain parts of our website.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I've worked with Krishaweb previously for a design project in 2017 and the work and turnaround time was excellent. I did not consider any other vendors for our most recent projects.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

As I mentioned above, these two project involved design and web development. For the design phase, I provided Krishaweb with minimal written guidelines. Within a few days, they provided us with design mockups that required little revision. The design was modern and responsive and we couldn't have asked for more. The implementation from design to Hubspot took less than 48 hours.

For the web development portion of our site, we provided Krishaweb with high level details of what we're trying to accomplish. Krishaweb has been tackling each task successfully and has been very responsive to our feedback, even to last minute changes that were different from our original instructions. Some of the web development tasks included enhancing and automating the ecommerce portion of our site; updating and/or replacing plugins; improving accessiblity to our content library.

I've been working with Milan Prajapati since day one of this project. Milan has been a great resource to us and has made himself available to any of our requests and questions. Shortly after the project kicked off, he introduced Ashmi Shah as our project manager and again, i have nothing but good things to say about working with Ashmi. She's been very responsive to all our questions and concerns and has delivered on all the line items we were trying to accomplish. both members of the Krishaweb team have been very professional and pleasant to work with.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

For the landing pages, it is too early to measure the increase in lead conversions. I'm convinced it will be a tremendous improvement, since we didn't have the A/B testing capability with our old landing pages that lived in Wordpress. Some of the web development tasks have been implemented and are in the process of being implemented.

The automation that Krishaweb built into our Woocommerce instance will reduce manual management by approximately 4-5 hours per month. It will also improve accuracy and avoid human error, once everything is automated.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Milan and Ashmi and the rest of their team have exceeded our expectations in terms of expertise and timeliness. All projects so far have come in well below any deadlines. There were no issues in regards to time difference or language barrier.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Krishaweb earned my trust in very little time. Their work has been outstanding, they're always on time and meet deadlines. And they have been a great partner to us. We have worked with other designer and developers in the past, and those experiences pale in comparison to the responsiveness and "can-do" attitude that we've received from Milan and Ashmi.

How did you select this vendor?

We looked at several website designers in the Ahmedabad area and eventually went with Krishaweb having reviewed their website design in the healthcare space for a large blood bank. We were impressed at interview with their understanding of the complexities of putting together an online presence.

We met within our group to clarify our goals and expectations from the website, and how it would integrate with existing channels of communication. As the point person I also met with the design team and went over our needs again and was impressed by their willingness to keep open channels of communication and work with us as the project progressed.

What was the team composition?

We were assigned a website project manager Manisha, who served as our single point of contact throughout the entire process. She made herself available by phone, e-mail and other channels, and updated me weekly throughout the process.

In turn I took the drafts and mock-ups back to the group to review which sometimes resulted in substantive changes to how we envisaged the website, but led to a more streamlined product.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It is much too early yet to comment on traffic, but we have already seen a 10% increase in patients calling in and using our designated appointment phoneline. We expect traffic and visibility to increase once we formally roll out the website this month.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager Manisha was very easy to work with, keen to understand our needs, and always available to discuss and understand the changes we were making to our original requests and formats.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed by their excellent communication and the fact they kept to a timeline and delivered on schedule. The most frustrating issue with most vendors is the work is stretched out unreasonably while other projects come on board. We never had that feeling, and the level of service delivered was excellent.

None at the moment, if anything comes up in the future I will update but overall the company commitment to service is excellent.

I’m the owner of a web development agency.

What challenge were you trying to address with KrishaWeb?

I was looking for an outsourced party to help me build my business. The main challenge we faced throughout that was about outsourcing and cutting my overhead costs so that I could scale the business at a faster rate and avoid the payroll management issues that a lot of small businesses have.

What was the scope of their involvement?

KrishaWeb has been working with me on a real estate website based in Colorado. A personal goal of mine was to build a team of realtors to receive leads and have the components to automate their processes so that I wasn’t spending all of my time managing them. They helped build a website that could receive leads and then control the distribution of those leads among members of a team.

From there, I started a web development with the idea that KrishaWeb would help me generate more business for myself and his team would be able to tap into people who liked what they saw from their work with me. We formed a partnership based on the leads that were generated from the website.

The services they provide depend largely on the customer we’re working for. They will convert documentation and layouts into sites or create sitemaps from basic visions. KrishaWeb also does logo designs and complete website redesigns, e-commerce sites, and custom framework solutions. The coding is largely done in PHP, usually for WordPress.

How did you come to work with KrishaWeb?

I came across Parth (CEO, KrishaWeb) and his team 7–8 years ago, and I’ve worked on many projects with them over the years. When I first met him, he was setting up a three-member team for the first project, and I think he has over 100 employees now. Without our working relationship, neither of our businesses would have grown.

I’ve done a wide range of project prices with them, but the latest was close to $200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I first hired KrishaWeb in 2010 and am continuing to work with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our biggest project together was a $100,000 site which now has 25,000 subscriptions and has completely pleased the client. No site is too big or too small for KrishaWeb. Their team of programmers can help create the vision the customer has and can do it on their timeline.

Customers always come back wanting more work done, and we have working relationships with many of them to continue maintaining all of their sites. We don’t get calls back complaining about glitches.

How did KrishaWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

Working with their team has been great. They are always very upfront and provide timetables for me to give to the customers. They deploy websites on dummy servers as they are built so that the clients can be involved throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Parth constantly hires the best developers, which I love because it gives us the capability to take on any project. I know that if I need something from them, it’s going to get done.

Realistically, I think they’ve done everything.
