**Feedback Summary**: KitelyTech is now helping the client with the site's development. So far, the client is happy with the ongoing collaboration and the team's transparency. The team's effort in going the extra mile has been notable.
""Whatever the issue is, they have someone who can address it.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the founder of a new movie review and discovery website

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire KitelyTech, and what were your goals?

I needed an affordable app for my website and also to supplement development with some outside assistance on an ongoing basis.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found KitelyTech on Clutch along with 6 other companies and Kitely was the only one who could deliver the solution I was asking for. They maintained great communication and got the app deployed for Apple and Android. Now we are working on enhancements and they are helping with the website workload.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

They used React Native to wrap my mobile display, per my request, and deployed it for Apple and Android successfully. We are working on notifications delivery system linking the web app to the app tile to gain the benefit of native app experience for users and they assist with features of the website itself because of their broad skill base.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I have worked with 4 people;

a business liaison/project manager
	a designated project manager
two senior developers (CTO) with the language skills I needed

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They were able to pick up the work load I couldn't put on the other development team and work smoothly with my other developers to get the app launched and also assist with core web development such as account creation bugs.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Project management is solid. Katie is responsible for forming the relationship from the beginning by going above and beyond when I thought there wasn't a chance and maintaining ongoing dialogue/transparency. Now we have Bryan added to the team and he is very on-the-ball at all times.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Whatever the issue is, they have someone who can address it. I think that if I have a problem, I can reach out to them and feel confident they can take the work and get it done.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I've mentioned to them that I personally enjoy using GitHub as a platform to create project specific posts, but that might just be a personal preference and there may be similar options elsewhere I just don't know about yet. I'm not concerned.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire KitelyTech, and what were your goals?

We wanted a mobile app for users to be able to set their own custom odds, amounts, and lines on a sporting event to act as the handicapper for their peers, and their peers back in turn. The app functions as a marketplace

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them online and we researched available reviews, after an interview and code review we decided to choose them

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Our project was already in-flight when we contracted Kitely. The first step was a discovery and code review of our current build and a knowledge hand-off. From there we planned sprints and began to work in an agile methodology. We are approaching the completion of the beta build

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A Sales Lead, Project lead, scrum master, and two developers were assigned to us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The management team has gone above and beyond to pressure-test ideas and designs for accurate UX flows and layouts.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Managing Director, International Dymension
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Mar 3, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: The client was thrilled with their new website, which helped them attract and gain several new leads across Europe. KitelyTech fully understood what the client wanted, allowing them to deliver a final product that met expectations. They were attentive, communicative, and punctual throughout.
""Their team communicated well, understood what we wanted, and listened attentively.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the managing director of International Dymension. We are a soccer agency, and we represent soccer players who are currently playing in Europe and North America. I am based in Florida.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

I needed a high-level website built so that I could market to prospective clients and different people in the soccer industry worldwide. I also wanted a website so that people could look at the profiles of our players, our achievements, and find information about us.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an initial phase, where I let them know what I was looking for and suggested specific designs for the website. The site was built from scratch.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 3–4 people, including a project leader, lead designer, and someone who worked on the content.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

I was searching through Google, and their company came up.

How much have you invested in them?

We invested about $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from about May–October 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They did a phenomenal job on building our website; we were very thrilled with it. As a result, we started to get a lot of traffic and received several emails from big European clubs that wanted to sign our players. To be specific, we got emails from German, French, Dutch, and Russian clubs through our contact info on the website.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

They were exceptional. Their team communicated well, understood what we wanted, and listened attentively. More importantly, they met all deadlines and stayed within budget — it was $30,000 well spent. We used Slack, Zoom, phone calls, and email to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stood out was the fact that they really understood what we wanted, how we wanted to be marketed, and how we wanted the website to look and function. They also added their own inputs before executing and delivering everything we wanted. Overall, their ability to take in information and execute and deliver what we needed was impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

To my knowledge, they did everything exceptionally well. I don’t think they could’ve done anything differently or better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Your company is your own unique brand and vision, so you have to know exactly what you want your company to represent, Once you do, explain it to them clearly, and they’ll put their skillset to work in capturing what you want.

**The Review** — Nov 30, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: KitelyTech's output allowed the client to apply for federal and private grants, which the client has been looking forward to. KitleyTech demonstrated excellence that saved the client from possibly shutting down. Moreover, they felt like they were on equal ground throughout the engagement.
""I made it clear that we needed this project done in six weeks and they were able to accomplish it in five.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the president and founder of Unique Care Connect which is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of the special needs community by providing the first virtual platform that brings all the resources family may need to one common platform.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire KitelyTech, and what were your goals?

Unique Care Connect is still very much a start up and we had spent the majority of our seed money on app development, but in the meantime we needed to have a professional website. Which is what we hired KitelyTech to do since we had been accepted in their startup scholarship program they gave us a fixed price which fit into our budget.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected KitelyTech because we had an impossible list of demands: we needed a site to look extremely professional, done fairly quickly, and we needed done much cheaper than any major company had quoted us at. Since KitelyTech is truly concerned about making the world a better place they have a program called their Startup Scholarship program which they offer expedited services at a greatly discounted rate and personal mentoring. Which met all of our impossible demands.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The site needed to display all the content we wanted to, gather a mailing list from our newsletter sign up and be able to accept donations via paypal. After getting into their startup program the experience was incredible. I was introduced to the team that I would be working with and we set up a weekly time for us to meet and to be presented with all the progress.

After I told the graphic designer my vision in our introduction meeting, the following week at our first weekly meeting I was absolutely blown away with how well he was able to encompass my vision on his very first try. In between meetings any thoughts I had I would just email whoever I needed and would always get a speedy reply. The final product was everything i wanted. https://uniquecareconnect.org/

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The team from KitelyTech was made up of 5 people.

1st was Jason he was the CEO and founder of the company he hand selected our project for the startup scholarship program and he personally made sure everything went smoothly.

Then there was Brendan and Katie who both interviewed me for the startup scholarship program and were big advocates for me to get accepted into the program, Katie would become the main project manager and would be my main contact if I had any questions about the scope or any questions regarding payment.

The next was Kurt Vor he was the graphic designer and was extremely personable and was able to capture my vision almost perfectly after just one introductory conversation.

And last but not least was Randall Barron who was the backend engineer, there were others who worked with Randall to make sure all the hosting features on AWS worked out but Randall was my main contact for any backend questions.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The site launched just a couple days ago and we've already seen some private donations as a result of it as well as a big influx for our mailing list. Having the site allows us to apply for federal and private grants. Also allows to approach much larger companies and has made us more legit.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Once the team was selected we were all put into a Slack Channel groupchat together. While this was useful I found emailing directly with whoever I needed to speak to was just as effective, and usually the response time was just a few hours if it was the first email of the day. I made it clear that we needed this project done in six weeks and they were able to accomplish it in five.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found to be most impressive about KitelyTech was the air of excellence that each member of the team carried themselves with. Even though my project was quite literally a "charity case" (my words not theirs).

Not once did I feel like they were ever distracted by another full paying client's project, and never did it feel like they had the attitude of like they were doing me a favor, which in reality they were, but still I always felt as a partner with them never beneath them. And then on top of it they delivered one hell of site thats super clean and fully functional.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really in all aspects they had it covered in the most positive way possible.

**The Review** — Oct 15, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: Boasting a solid understanding of the client's product and target audience, KitelyTech delivered a sophisticated, technology-driven, and uniquely designed site that rivaled that of the top smartphone brands. Highly engaged and dedicated, they collaborated effectively with the client throughout.
""I was impressed with their ability to listen and interpret the highly technical nature of our device. ""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

Fortress Mobile Communications, Inc. has developed a Hyper Secure Android Smartphone. I am the Founder and the CEO

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire KitelyTech, and what were your goals?

We retained the services of Kitley Tech to design and build a highly sophisticated and technology driven web site to compete with some of the Flagship Smartphone Manufacturers such as Apple and Samsung

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Through the countless Google searches and after reading dozens of reviews we reached out to Kitley Tech. We called on Saturday AM the CEO called us back the next day. We spoke for at least an hour and our team was immediately convinced that we had made the right call. It was clear to us that Kitley Tech had an understanding of what our product was all about, the audience we were looking to target, and had the resources to meet the objective and goal.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

I can’t imagine I more challenging task than the one we had presented to Kitley Tech. The degree of difficulty would be on par with that of a bioscience company or that of a high-end automobile manufacturer. By its very nature and design, The Cloak Phone was and is a highly sophisticated device that incorporated advanced blockchain technology as well patented proprietary security features designed by both mechanical and electrical engineers from several different countries.

The website needed to convey an extremely complex technology in the most simple and understanding way to our targeted customers. We needed the highest level of advanced digital imaging, 3D capabilities, as well as high-resolution demonstrations.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The team at Kitley Tech was extremely committed immediately from the start. The CEO, Jason W. made himself available for all stages of the design and development. On early and at every stage the team had a precise understanding of needs and took the time to understand the nature of the technology behind the device itself.

More importantly, the entire team seemed committed to building the most professionally engineered website that could and would rival that of some of the other marquee brands

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The team at Kitley Tech finished on time. They delivered a standard of quality and digital presentation that remains unmatched by any technology driven start up in my opinion…

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The team at Kitley became engaged immediately. The level of communication was excellent at every stage. They laid out exactly what they intended to do and explained to our team exactly the manner in which the task was to be executed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed with their ability to listen and interpret the highly technical nature of our device. Their questions were both insightful and creatively inspiring to our team. The end result was extremely sophisticated, amazingly vibrant and uniquely designed web site. There efforts collectively gave our Brand “The Cloak Phone” an identity that personified exactly what we wanted to represent to both the Smartphone Ecosystem and more importantly our customers…

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Absolutely not

Thanks to their new site, the client enjoyed a 70% increase in their traffic and leads. Leading a collaborative process, the team led regular meetings and was quick to resolve issues that arose.
""They were well equipped for the job they were contracted to do.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

DataMax is a 130+ year-old company, operating nationwide as a third-party debt collection agency, based out of Winston-Salem, NC. We work with municipalities, as well as businesses who operate in the medical, housing rentals or utilities industries.

At DataMax, we offer our clients a partnership, not a vendor mentality, with unparalleled customer service to both our clients and consumers. I am the Marketing Assistant & Office Manager; celebrating my 36th service anniversary.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire KitelyTech, and what were your goals?

Our original website was created several years ago and had become outdated. We do not have in-house talent with abilities to design a new website and logo, so we hired the team at KitelyTech to design and develop a WordPress site for our company. We believe this new site will increase traffic as well as showcase our company’s services.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

This vendor was recommended by a business contact. We evaluated KitelyTech as well as a few others. Our decision to use KitelyTech was made based on the examples of other projects, design skills, and their cost estimate.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

After meeting with the KitelyTech team and establishing goals and objectives, they delivered mock-ups and framework for our site. Following a few iterations, their team designed and developed an informational WordPress site. They updated the content to reflect our company’s services and created a landing page with a contact form.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had a project manager who was our main point of contact for the project. There were 2 full stack developers and a designer working behind the scenes.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

There was at least a 70% increase in traffic and leads. Clients love the updated site and have a much better understanding of our service offerings.

Our internal team also had other comments for KitelyTech. One person wrote: "Working with KitelyTech on our company’s website was a very positive experience. They gave great customer service and delivered a great product in a timely manner. We now have an impressive website showcasing our company."

Another said: "My company recently contracted with KitelyTech to build a new website enabling us to communicate our services to clients and potential clients. We had a very positive experience with KitelyTech and are very satisfied with their customer service as well as the product they delivered. I would definitely recommend them!"

Another said: My experience working with KitelyTech was very positive. The team members we worked with were responsive to our input and were easy to work with. We had an effective timeline and had no problem with deliverables. I would absolutely recommend KitelyTech and their team!

And finally: "Having recently completed a website development project with KitelyTech, I can say that they certainly met my expectations! KitelyTech’s team gave great customer service and worked well within the timeline agreed upon. They have a professional management style and worked to satisfy our company’s requests in an impressive manner."

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had a weekly team meeting as well as an end of week follow-up email. If there were any issues on either side, they were communicated and handled in a timely manner. We used Slack for most communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were well equipped for the job they were contracted to do. They took time to teach our staff how to make edits for future site revisions of content.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had one minor communication glitch. It was discussed and rectified immediately and the project was finished as planned.

**The Review** — Aug 11, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: KitelyTech satisfied the requirements by translating an idea into a tangible product that has garnered high praise from early users. The team responded quickly to any questions or requests, and they proved to be readily accessible at any time of the day. Their communication set them apart.
"“Based on my experience testing and using the app, I think KitelyTech has done a great job.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

A friend and I started creating an app about a year ago with the idea of improving the digital business card. We’re trying to find the quickest way to both exchange and store information. Most business card apps right now are centered around storage, and we’re trying to figure out a way that exchange can happen as seamlessly as a paper business card. We’re focusing on getting information from one person to another as quickly and efficiently as possible.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

My partner and I were both business students, and we had no knowledge of coding, software development, or app development. We needed a team to help us bring our idea to life.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

KitelyTech built our iOS mobile app from scratch. We gave them a bunch of our sketches as well as written details of our ideas. We were pretty clear as to what we wanted at the beginning, but as we started talking to them, they had a lot of good feedback and different ideas. While the end product is very similar to the sketches and mockups we gave them, there were definitely some deviations that we talked through, and that worked out great.

What is the team composition?

We mostly collaborated with one person. However, during the design phase, we spoke with another person as well.

They were extremely good at communicating back and forth with us; we were able to email or text them, and they’d answer at almost all hours of the day.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

My partner’s friend had his app built by them, and he’d had a great experience. While we were looking, KitelyTech’s name came up. We did some more due diligence on them, and we decided that it would make sense to go with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our work together began in July or August 2019, and they’re wrapping up this month, August 2020. Development is done. We just uploaded it to TestFlight, so we’re still talking to them regarding small things that come up.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The app just went up on TestFlight a week or two ago, and we’ve had a few people use it there. They’ve said that they really like the app and that it’s not buggy. Based on my experience testing and using the app, I think KitelyTech has done a great job. Whenever there were issues, whether it was with development or things we realized needed changing, they were super responsive and able to fix those issues quickly.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

In terms of project management, I thought they did a fantastic job. There were several times when we reached out with a wide range of requests or questions, and they got back to us with answers pretty quickly. The whole speed of the project was good. It slowed down toward the end a bit, but I think that was mostly due to our communication slowing down and COVID-19.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Overall, the communication is what really impressed me. We were able to work with them whenever we needed, and they answered all of our calls, emails, and texts pretty much right away. That was extremely helpful to us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have much criticism. They gave us a major discount because we were young and right out of college, and they were interested in working with us. Once we paid off the phases in the set contract, they did charge us full price for any additional tweaks we wanted to make. It was a little expensive, but I honestly don’t know what the market rate is.

Any advice for potential customers?

Work with them — they’re great. Keep up communication, because they’re very good with that. Be sure to clearly define early on what you want out of it and how much it’s going to be; I got the sense that if it wasn’t as clearly defined and things changed more, the price probably would’ve increased.

**Feedback Summary**: KitelyTech delivered a website that captures the attention of the target audience that, in addition to effective SEO initiatives, successfully secures new clients and generates revenue. The team’s flexibility and proactivity facilitated seamless collaboration. Their professionalism was notable.
""Between their availability, reputation, and track record, I couldn’t have asked for a better partner."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of JR Glenn Law.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

There are well over 100,000 lawyers in the state of Illinois. I’m in Chicago where there are a number of solo practitioners and small firms. We wanted to differentiate ourselves and increase our recognition. We needed to advertise and market the firm cost-effectively to gain the most return on our investment.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

KitelyTech’s team designed and developed my website to stand out in the market. Their team invested time in ideating on the design. We went through the designs and graphics that would be the most appealing as well as how to write different narratives about my services. They then created mockups that I reviewed to ensure the website reflected my firm. Their team also created business cards and designed a logo to build my brand.

They worked on building my SEO campaigns to make sure that my name appeared when people searched for certain legal services in Chicago. Their team also showed me how to use different tools to be self-sufficient.

What is the team composition?

I worked with more than one person as KitelyTech truly took a team approach to the project. At one point I spoke with their CEO, so everyone was involved in helping me succeed.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

I decided to work with them based on their industry reputation. As soon as I talked with one of their team members, their zest and passion became evident. I saw the excellence that their team brought to the table.

I receive e-mail blasts from companies with different action items. KitelyTech doesn’t do that because business comes to them. That made me respect them even more.

How much have you invested with them?

They were appropriately priced, if not underpriced for the value their team delivered.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began when I opened my firm in August 2017, and it’s ongoing. When I need it, KitelyTech provides help. I’m not shy about reaching out to them when I have a question. To this day, they continue to make sure that I have what I need to be successful.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website’s professional, eye-catching, and informative. Users not only comment on the website but also enjoy and share my articles. Many clients report finding my firm via the website. Headhunters also called to ask if I wanted to join their firm and bring my client book. The amount of feedback and resources I receive from all angles has been incredible. Across the board, everyone’s talking about my firm. KitelyTech's work has been lucrative for me.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

We used project management platforms and communicated through phone and e-mail. Their team was receptive to my preferences and made sure to communicate accordingly. They were respectful of my time and made the process user friendly.

We set dates, and KitelyTech kept moving forward. If I slowed the process down, they politely reminded me of our goals. When we reached certain benchmarks, their team made sure that I was happy with their work.

I gave them free rein, and they were good about coming back to me for direction. We also had touchpoints along the way, and their team asked for my input.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Between their availability, reputation, and track record, I couldn’t have asked for a better partner. They’re a class-act organization. I can’t say enough about their team. They’re knowledgeable and professional. Whenever I talked with one of their team members, they always knew all of the project details. I appreciated the entire team's involvement.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, I don’t think so. Their team could’ve tried to make more money on the project but didn’t. That’s one of their value-adds; they’re effective.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be absolutely open and honest with them about what you want to accomplish. They’ll tell you what’s possible and find a way to help you meet your goals. They thrive on open communication, which facilitates their ability to go above and beyond your expectations.

**Feedback Summary**: KitelyTech’s MVP design has received positive feedback. The team’s project management was smooth, and they were very supportive throughout the process. They’ve been willing to address any issues that have arisen, and their ability to provide support into the deployment stage sets them apart.
""They put the product out there in adherence to AWS best practices."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

My friend and I are pursuing an idea that we worked on through an accelerator program at the university we attended. We’re trying to help people with a few elements of networking, which involves ensuring that connections that people make in the real world make it to the digital world.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

Our team is good at iteration and conducting research, so we were able to learn some prototyping tools to create mockups. However, when it came to the actual development, we wanted to work with a team of professionals to get our idea off the ground.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

KitelyTech developed an MVP mobile app for iOS. We had mockups of all of the frames that we wanted, but we gave the team flexibility when it came to certain elements such as the color scheme.

There were a few screens that we didn’t anticipate needing to mockup, so they created those for us. The app hasn’t launched yet, but they are working under the impression that we will launch the app in the App Store. If we get good feedback on it, we might build out an Android version.

What is the team composition?

We work primarily with Katie (Account Director). We’ve also worked with a UX designer and, during the vetting process, their account executive team.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

A friend of mine, who is not a technical person, had worked with KitelyTech.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in November 2019. Our engagement is in a fluid state, so if we get good feedback, we will reengage them to build out the product.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My family thinks the design looks good.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

Katie was very helpful, and she guided us through the process. Their UX designer was also great. Overall, project management was very smooth.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve heard that KitelyTech helps you through the entire deployment project, which is very helpful for a business-minded team. They put the product out there in adherence to AWS best practices, which is great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was one challenge during our process, which was that the app was going to be configured in a way that we thought was a bit risky from a legal standpoint based on conversations with our mentors.

I was surprised that KitelyTech hadn’t done that vetting on their end, but, ultimately, when we brought our concern to them, they made the change at no extra charge.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

KitelyTech is a good company to work with, but don’t just throw the project at them and come back months later; keep working with them throughout the process.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

We’re an older, small shop. Our virtual presentation wasn't up to date including our website and social media profiles. We started an initiative to update ourselves.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

KitelyTech built a new website. Per our direction, their team kept the content from our original site but also created new content. They produced better visuals for the site. Their team created content to helps us be more present on social media. They focus on organic social media campaigns too.

What is the team composition?

We work with 3–4 people from KitelyTech.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

I went on Google and looked at companies' reviews. I wrote down 10 names and called each one. We had a round of interviews with five different agencies. That’s how we decided on KitelyTech. Their team was in tune with our goals, so we felt comfortable with them. They took control of the process and guided us, which helped.

We started to attract unique visitors to our website organically. We have a newfound confidence in sharing our website. As a result of this confidence, we put a social media plan in place. We’re able to share and explore new areas that we wouldn't have prior to our engagement with KitelyTech.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team’s great and coaches us through the projects. Most of the hiccups are on our end. They’ve been patient and professional the whole time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their experience stands out to us. We pay a little more for quality, but we have the peace of mind knowing that the cost isn’t jacked up. We pay for what we get.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t know what else they could do.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Know what you want ahead of time. Part of the problem was that we didn’t know enough. At first, KitelyTech had a hard time trying to understand where we wanted to go. As long as there’s a plan in place, they can take it from there.

The team was accessible and ensured transparency by offering tools that provided visibility into the product’s progress. Their flexibility and responsiveness enable continued collaboration.
""They not only satisfied my needs but went above and beyond."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and CEO of a startup called JobTie. We created an app that streamlined the job application process, which I found to be tedious. Users upload their resumes and information so that they can swipe to apply to jobs that companies posted.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

I don’t know a ton about programming, so I needed a partner to build the app.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

KitelyTech built an app for iOS because my target market’s college students who mostly have iPhones. Their team could’ve made the app for Android too, but the product wouldn’t have worked as well.

They created wireframes that I approved and then built the platform, which included an admin panel. Their team edited the website that I built, enabling it to host the admin panel. They also built a web app.

What is the team composition?

I spoke with a salesperson initially and then worked with a project manager who remained throughout the whole project.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

I searched for app developers in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is where I’m located. They were one of the companies that popped up. Their team sounded great on the phone and leading up to the contract. Unlike other companies, they were flexible with my limited budget. Their team had good reviews online and previous work on their website.

How much have you invested with them?

The project cost $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2019 and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

KitelyTech made the platform happen. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to have an app. I’m more than satisfied with the quality of their work.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via phone calls, emails, and texts. When we went through the app, we used Google Hangouts. They used a tool that allowed me to preview the app as it was being built. I made comments and edits on the product that the project manager brought back to her team to fix.

Their project manager was fantastic and stayed on top of the project. I’ve reached out to her on weekends and she’s gotten back to me within ten minutes. She kept me in the loop perfectly and showed updates weekly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve heard people complain about their experiences with developers, especially around the service provider's communication and effort levels. KitelyTech was able to go above and beyond. I wanted changes to the product in the middle of development, which their team made while staying within my budget. They not only satisfied my needs but went above and beyond.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think so.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Stay involved on your end. Pay your invoice on time because if you don’t, they have to put the project on pause. Stay on top of the tasks that they asked you to do. If you take a couple of weeks to get those done, it will extend the project.

They’ve been able to propel the development forward with their positive energy and willingness to collaborate with external partners. All team members were available when needed.
"“They’re able to serve as a one-stop software development shop.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and CEO of Emotional Ideas, LLC. We’re a product design company in the amusement technology space.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

I needed to create a software program that was compatible with my hardware device.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We needed to develop a software platform for go-carts. The solution was based on three different modules: a mobile application, software that could communicate with the existing hardware, and a management system that could control both systems. We needed all three to effectively manage our one product. Right now, we’re in the first phase of development with their team.

That’s involved nailing down requirements in an SRS document, creating wireframes, and figuring out workflow processes. They also designed a logo and a pitch deck for us. Next, we’ll move into the design stage.

What is the team composition?

We worked with about 5–6 of their teammates. That included Jordyn (Creative Director, KitelyTech) who handled the pitch deck and logo, Brendan (Business Development, KitelyTech) who is my main point of contact, and Jason (CEO, KitelyTech) who has checked in to make sure everything is running smoothly.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

We found them by utilizing Google and researching reviews on potential vendors. I saw that they were nominated as one of the best software companies in the country and had an impressive portfolio of past clients. Based on that, I knew they could do the job.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in December 2018, and the work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our team is impressed with the work they’ve completed so far. Their efficiency and enthusiasm are commendable. We’re an amusement technology company, so we feed off of people’s positive energy as it relates to entertainment and technology. Sometimes skill can only take a team so far, and enthusiasm is needed to really get a project off the ground. They brought that enthusiasm and passion that was essential to the project.

We have a separate hardware company also working on this project. KitelyTech been able to collaborate with them to get the job done. It’s been all hands on deck.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager communicates efficiently over Slack, call, or text. The CEO made himself open to help in any way possible. He’s invested in the development of this project, wanting to ensure a professional end product.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re able to serve as a one-stop software development shop. From logos to software to design and graphics, they can offer everything.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Communication could always be better, but I’m a different breed when it comes to communicating. They did an excellent job with it, but it’s important to tailor your communication style to your customers. Some people like texts and others like calls, for instance.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be upfront with your desires for the project without being vague. Give them a clear description of what you need.

**The Review** — Jun 7, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: The MVP is complete and garnering positive user feedback. KitelyTech offered invaluable expertise in entrepreneurial development, which eased and expedited the process. They helped navigate complex issues and delivered high-quality work with exceptional customer service.
"“One of the things they have been great about is getting back to me so quickly.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO and founder of a health technology startup in the corporate health and wellness space. Our platform allows employers and insurers to directly incentivize people to exercise.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

I'm a sole founder without a technical background. I didn’t have the skill set to build the MVP of our product, and I was looking for mobile and web app development for our platform.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They handled all of the technical and engineering aspects of getting the first build of the MVP to market. It is a mobile app for employees as well as a web dashboard for the employer. They developed the mobile app for Android and iOS in addition to the web dashboard.

I had done rudimentary sketches for fundraising purposes and shared those with them. They turned those into wireframes and offered their feedback and suggestions on changes to be made.

We needed to get users’ health data from their Apple Health or Google Fit account from their smartwatch or phone to the app and web portal, which was the most critical part of it. They were able to help with issues that arose when dealing with that data coming from multiple devices and sources and the differences between how Apple and Google treat those forms of data. Initially, it seemed like a pretty simple thing, but it turned out that it was quite complex and there were some issues with it. They helped me navigate that easily.

What is the team composition?

Katie (Account Director, KitelyTech) was the project manager and my main point of contact, and she was great. Jason (CEO, KitelyTech) was helpful with general business and strategic advice. Given that he and Katie are both entrepreneurs, they were able to see things from my perspective. They offered guidance where I may have made mistakes had they not seen what I was going through several times beforehand.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

I met one of their salespeople at a tech event in Chicago.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–April 2018. They have been helping me with new features, but the MVP is up and running.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They have been great. I am tremendously happy with working with them and with the quality of the work. The initial user feedback has been extremely positive, which is far better than what an MVP of a product needs to be. There have been minimal issues. It’s much better than I could’ve built with a few in-house developers over the same timeframe. I’m happy with the results.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

One of the things they have been great about is getting back to me so quickly. Katie was always available when I needed her, even on the weekends, and was generally very understanding. She always had everything under control and I never had to remind her twice about anything. She always gets back to me, and usually, they were waiting on a response from me. Jason explained things to me and was available when I needed him as well. I haven’t had to track them down. It was good having a dedicated point of contact the entire time who I was able to get a hold of.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have that entrepreneurial background, which is one of their value-adds. A lot of the other development firms I talked to don’t have that experience.

**The Review** — Jun 1, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: The finalized site has received a huge range of positive feedback from large companies, particularly for its design, user flows, and overall build. The team built an excellent site that required few tweaks, communicated effectively, and were responsive, dedicated listeners.
""The feedback has been incredible ... [the website] is elegant and simple."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the president and CEO of The Global Collaboration Group (@9), a business focused on providing exclusive experiences, products, and services. We collect money off of each participant involved in an experience.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

We needed help with our website and mobile site.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us build our website and the mobile site. Eventually, they will also do our application, but for the website and mobile site, we’re just wrapping up some of the e-commerce portions. They worked from images to buildout the wireframes. The way in which the website has been laid out adhered to our vision. They focused on its overall look, and how things were placed. They also worked on the e-commerce piece.

What is the team composition?

We had four people involved, including the COO and the CEO, who made sure that everything was staying on-pace. They were involved from an oversight point of view and as consulting partners when we needed a new approach. The COO had more of a direct involvement.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

We started off doing a lot of research online and narrowed it down to three or four companies. Theirs was one of them, and I had a chance to talk to Jason (CEO, KitelyTech) directly and thought that he provided some of the best answers. Anything can be challenging, but he did the best job of listening to exactly what we were trying to get done. The decision was also based on my research, the feedback I received, and what they told me they could do.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began in December 2017 and really got everything going in February.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We represent some billion-dollar companies on the site and they've been very pleased with how it looks. If they weren’t happy with the way their product was going to be represented, we wouldn't have a business. The feedback has been incredible. We have a deal with a Swiss watch company who thought that the site was incredible. KitelyTech had to get it right, and they did. Together, we put a lot of time into the images, the way it’s built, and the way it flows. We’ve been told that it’s elegant and simple.

As with anything else, we have to make tweaks, but KitelyTech got it close to where it needed to be right out of the gate. That was a big deal to me. It’s not about the money, it’s about getting it right. It costs me more money if they do it wrong.

We met with a venture capital firm in Indianapolis a week ago. We went through the process with them, putting some things together to a committee and see if we could raise some money. They asked us which company made our site, and I told them the provider wasn’t from the city. They were surprised about the high quality, and thought that they might have missed a local company that could work at that level.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

There haven’t been any issues with communication. Some of this may be because I’ve had a chance to talk to their CEO. Whether it was him or the others, they’ve been very responsive. The other people in the team operate just like the CEO.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I always look at how individuals are listening, and they listen and respond well. Had I had a bad experience, I would mention it. There are always things that people can improve on, but nothing really stands out with KitelyTech. and I would give them a high rating. They’ve done great by me and my company by doing what they said they were going to do. They put together a nice site.

They’re high on my list, with what they’ve done.

**The Review** — May 22, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Once implemented, the solution is expected to reduce hands-on management time by 40%. Despite delays not of their own making, KitelyTech keeps the project moving (and on budget) through constant communication, providing critical status updates throughout the engagement.
""Their solution is going to give us the ability to manage our operations in real-time."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I own J.P. McMahon Transport, a fuel hauler based out of Illinois. We operate 40 tractors and 50 tankers, and we pick up fuel at 17–18 terminals in the Chicago area and northern Indiana.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

There's a tremendous amount of paperwork in our industry. Every time a driver goes to a terminal, which could be up to 8 times a day, he gets a BOL (bill of lading) for every load. We also try to keep track of where our driver is throughout the day. We had a proprietary software that was written in a much older PHP code. It's extremely slow and has a lot of limitations. It won’t be able to handle our workload in about 12 months.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They started by looking at our existing code in order to determine how they can improve our speed. Our main dispatch page monitors every driver, truck, and load that we deliver. Every time we made a change on that page, it took a very long time to reload. They've been able to write the code so that items are refreshed on the page on an individual basis, which speeds things up considerably. This software does everything for us: assigns loads to the drivers, pays the drivers, and has a database for all the stations or customers we service. It's a clearinghouse for all of those services in one place. There’s also a mobile application. Every driver is issued an iPad and they communicate on it through a web-based portal. The goal is to have everything as close to real-time as possible.

What is the team composition?

I primarily deal with Ronak (COO, KitelyTech) as the lead code writer. I felt it was important to just have one contact. He then sends out the work orders to a group of 5–7 coders that are working on my program. The CEO also regularly checks in throughout the process.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

We did an online search and considered four companies. We chose KitelyTech because their presentation was very professional, and they really listened to what I had to say.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started in July 2017 and work is ongoing. The project has gone past its original timeframe but the delay is on my end.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It's all built, but there's a couple of things on my end holding up the completion of the mobile app. Once it’s implemented, it's going to cut down on the amount of hours my dispatchers have to spend using the software by at least 40%. That's huge. I’m really excited about all of the additional features that they were able to give me that I currently don't have. Their solution is going to give us the ability to manage our operations in real-time, which is very important.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

The real problem is that they can't get a hold of me because I get pulled in many different directions. Taking time to speak with Ronak often gets sidetracked. He calls me multiple times a week and keeps trying even when I don’t respond. When I do give him the time and response he needs, the work gets done fast. It's amazing. They do a great job.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ronak is a very nice guy and has a great disposition. He doesn’t let anything bother him, he just keeps plugging along. I think that's one of the reasons why they're so successful.

**Feedback Summary**: The automated management system meets all documentation requirements, expediting audits and supporting paper-free operations. KitelyTech’s impressive software competencies, rapid turnaround time, and accessibility continue to boost productivity.
""They’ve been available 24/7 for support, which is the main thing I care about.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a manager at Alembic Pharmaceuticals. We are a large company involved in clinical trials and have more than 3,000 employees.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

We wanted a system to help us process all our manual paperwork into an intelligent online database. When our patients visit a hospital, if our software was undergoing maintenance, we’d sometimes miss critical items of patient history. If we conducted a study using that patient, we would run into trouble. That’s why we contacted KitelyTech. They assigned an architect who understood our requirements and developed a biometric phone verification system for patients.

The software needed to be compliant with 21 CFR Part 11. We looked for companies in the US with deep knowledge of these guidelines. We found KitelyTech, and they did a really great job.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

KitelyTech developed a software called E-CTMS to maintain volunteer records and track visit history. Everything used to be done on paper. We had manual audits coming from Europe and the US and were facing many challenges. At the time, we didn’t have a system in place for keeping the data secure or doing disaster recovery.

KitelyTech’s point person learned about every process of all the departments in our company at the start of the project. Based on that information, they gave us a solution that automates almost all of the processes and data in a secure fashion. We can access anything from our history, and the good thing is that our system is compliant with 21 CFR Part 11. FDA and end-user audits were made for the approval of our system, which was a big deal for us.

They employed automation and other types of logic to help the data-entry process. Most of the manual work has been removed, and the system performs much better. We have been able to reallocate resources for project work instead of manual work. The process is very fast, and everything is easy to maintain. We can monitor the activity of all staff members and generate performance reports.

We want to enroll more departments into the system, but this will take time since we also need to check with regulatory systems. We are consistently working with KitelyTech on new modules and keep building the software.

We don’t have much contact with the actual developers on KitelyTech’s side. They’ve assigned a project manager who addressed all our needs and handled software releases.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

When we needed software, we looked for someone in the US. Our budget department found 3 vendors, which were presented to us, including KitelyTech. I’m not sure how our company found them since vendor-sourcing is not part of my department.

How much have you invested with KitelyTech?

When we started, we were given different prices for each module, ranging from 50 lakhs to 1 crore [₹5,000,000–10,000,000 Indian rupees or $75,000–$150,000]. They gave us quotes based on our requirements, which changed for every module.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with KitelyTech in 2013, at which time we needed a database system through which we could see patients’ medical history when they came to our hospitals. That took 4 or 5 months to develop, which gave us the confidence to move our paperwork into the system. The solution made our lives easier, and we’ve moved all our manual activities into the software.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

The software is amazing and has really increased the speed of our audits. We can document anything in terms of activities, staff members, and anything else we can access from auditors. We are 100% satisfied and trust KitelyTech for costs and processes. We can give them requirements, and they come up with mockups and designs based on that. Once we approve those, KitelyTech will handle development without any surprises after delivery. They have strong software competencies, which makes them valuable to us. They spend a lot of time with documentation and handle that very well.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

Sometimes, they have delays, but I can understand this. There have been delays on our side as well. Once we were given our database, our staff also took a lot of time to finish testing and offer feedback. If there is an emergency or a need for bug-fixing, KitelyTech is there to offer support.

What did you find most impressive about KitelyTech?

They’re always available. We work with other vendors who require constant negotiations on our part, which makes it hard to reach an agreement. KitelyTech has given us great prices, which makes us comfortable with the relationship. They’ve been available 24/7 for support, which is the main thing I care about.

**The Review** — Jun 14, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: The new, mobile-responsive site has increased customer interest and attracted positive feedback due to its user-friendly layout and stable performance. KitelyTech’s streamlined project management, responsiveness, and competitive price point contributed to an effective partnership.
""KitelyTech was big enough to cope with my requests but small enough to care.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of Beverly R Antique Jewelry, a company that sells jewelry pieces that are mainly over 100 years old. Each item is one-of-a-kind, high-end, and unique. I’ve been in the business for 30 years, and I have exquisite pieces. When people visit my website, they will see a selection of the pieces I carry, many of which are of historical interest. I try to offer wearable pieces as opposed to the stereotypically heavy, ornate items. Most of them have a contemporary feel. In fact, some modern and contemporary jewelry lines have based their designs on these antique pieces.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

I had a good website, but it was about 15–20 years old. It was very difficult for me to add or remove pieces, and the site wasn’t mobile responsive. Since more and more people are shopping on the internet, I wanted to start updating a little bit. When I started the company, computers weren’t really around. My knowledge of computers is limited in the extreme. I know the basics, and I wanted a professional organization to do a solid update.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

I wanted the website to give people an idea of the sort of things I carry to get them to visit the shop and make a decision. KitelyTech built a new site from scratch. I don’t know what technology was used because I’m a non-technical person. I was extremely pleased with the end result. There was a bit of a delay in the production of the website because of a personal issue. I was happy with their timeline. They worked quickly and efficiently. I wanted a few things changed, and KitelyTech acted on them within 24 hours. They did not just take the money and run.

I’m not computer coherent to a high degree, but KitelyTech was very supportive after the website was completed. They provided a training video that they explained to me, which showed me how to make changes to the site myself. I was happy with the complete package.

The site is set up so that it can function as an e-commerce site as well. I don’t have that option now because these pieces need to be tried on in person. The buyer needs to see how the item lays, how the coloring looks, etc. These pieces are one-of-a-kind. If a customer wants something specific, they can contact me through the site because they know my selection.

KitelyTech is also working on keywords to improve my ranking on Yelp, Google, and other search engines. These keywords highlight antiques as opposed to ordinary jewelry, for example.

How many resources have been assigned to your project?

I dealt with Jason [CEO, KitelyTech] and another gentleman. When possible, I prefer to deal with fewer people. I’m sure they had more people on the project, but I find that when I deal with more people, things get missed or confused. KitelyTech was big enough to cope with my requests but small enough to care, and I like the personal side of their service.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

I spoke to a few people who recommended KitelyTech, so I got in contact with them.

How much have you invested with KitelyTech?

They’re competitive. I got a few quotes when I was researching firms; some people were cheaper, and others were more expensive.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

I’ve noticed more people coming into the store. I also have a large selection of art deco engagement rings—platinum and diamond—that are one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces. I always ask people that visit how they found me. Since I had the website updated, the business has started going up in Google searches. I’ve also advertised in a couple of magazines that are in hotels. My older customers like that, but younger generations search on Google or Yelp. The last 3 people who bought engagement rings all found me through the website.

I haven’t come across any defects in the website yet. I have been able to add new stock very easily because it’s so user-friendly. People have been impressed with it. For me, it’s been beneficial.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

If I asked a question, they responded promptly.

What did you find most impressive about KitelyTech?

They’re a complete package and incredibly attentive. Their support service after the project was completed has been good as well. I felt like I got good value for my money.

""With KitelyTech, I only see results. I don’t need to follow up with them as much.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of Prestige Worldwide Logistics, a transportation management company in shipping logistics.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

We didn’t have an online presence, so we enlisted KitelyTech’s help to create that.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Jason [CEO, KitelyTech] put together a whole portfolio for us, including branding, a logo, web design, SEO, etc. After they did the branding and logo, we had some new presentation designs like our pitch decks that could also be seen on our website. All the SEO came from the web design. They did a lot of web development and other things on the backend. They gave us reports, and the communication was very transparent. They also did a little bit of a custom development. We have a real-time quoting tool to allow our clients to access rates and things of that nature. The rating tool was probably the most custom development that they did for us. KitelyTech worked on developing some backend stuff to make it all work efficiently. I know there was a lot of EDI [electronic data interchange] to manage. They definitely worked with many APIs from our carriers to connect the languages.

Do you know what technologies were used?

I’m not technical, so they had to bring it down to my level. I’m not sure what technologies were used.

How many resources have been assigned to your project?

I know a lot of people are working on our project because we wanted to finish it in a timely fashion. A lot of changes were happening in the industry, and they had to do extensive analysis and get everything going. I appreciate having a single contact person who relays everything to the team. I know I have seen at least 10 names on an email at any time. There’s always someone else working on each aspect, as the work’s departmentalized. Different project managers let me filter what I had to say to their team.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

We found them through a referral. The communication was unparalleled. Other companies complicate everything rather than just listening to what you want and putting it on paper. Jason’s team definitely understand the needs of the customer. They also communicate that understanding very clearly for the other parties who may not be as knowledgeable, helping them follow the steps. They had experience and a good track record. It was pretty much all positive, all the time.

How much have you invested with KitelyTech?

We’ve spent $70,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March of 2016, and the work’s been ongoing since.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

In the beginning, our new site didn’t look the same across different browsers, but in terms of functionality, it’s never gone down. KitelyTech even advised us about a hosting company that was cheaper and had 24/7 support. If something that went down that was out of their team’s control, they gave us a referral that was better than what we were currently doing. We have never had any issues since they took over. We have a live chat on our website, which is a very popular feature. If the site ever did go down, our customers would notify us but may lose trust because we’re supposed to be available. So, if there are any issues, they’re often solved within 15 minutes.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

We can communicate through the dashboard that they’ve set up for us. Often, we look at the analytic dashboard and have to send an email, but it’s hard to describe our needs, especially when we’re not versed in that industry. As a result, their transparency has saved a lot of time so we don’t have to go back and forth in asking for clarification.

The interactive dashboard for communication is almost live. You can see what’s being done and take care of things as they come up. You don’t want a designer, for example, to design something completely based on what you had in mind. We don’t have an IT person who’s able to communicate everything on my behalf, so this helps me feel confident in taking our next steps.

What did you find most impressive about KitelyTech?

I’ve worked with a few different vendors in the past, and I didn't like having any traction or explanations. With KitelyTech, I only see results. I don’t need to follow up with them as much. For example, I was working on back links with another company. I was expecting to get hundreds or thousands week over week, but we only had 10. They gave me different excuses week after week. But, they had us in a contract, so I felt pinned against a corner. I never felt that way at all with KitelyTech. They are a performance-based company, and that’s why their customers stay with them.

Are there any areas KitelyTech could improve?

There is nothing that they could improve. They are doing a fantastic job. I know they are growing, so maybe they could reach out to new sectors of different industries to apply their technology (e.g. insurance). That’s more of a marketing thing; it has nothing to do with their functionality or capabilities.

**The Review** — Jun 7, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: The finished website now has a cleaner look and feel and performs much more reliably, demonstrating rapid load times and supporting vital e-commerce functionalities. KitelyTech’s constant communication, timely delivery, and relevant industry insight continue to inspire trust.
""[T]here’s a definite business value added by their approach.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and CEO of a fast-casual, technology-enabled restaurant.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with KitelyTech?

I first engaged KitelyTech for another company of mine. I needed to redesign my website after having a bad experience with another developer. Resources like Squarespace weren’t available, so finding someone with true development talent at an affordable price with timely responses was difficult. As I moved forward with my next business, I needed to find a technology partner that could execute a longer-term vision while incrementally developing as we grew the business and raised money.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They do everything from design to development for the proprietary application that will be running our first location. I engaged someone else for branding and developing a style guideline. We focused on designing menus, business cards, handouts, the website, the application, etc. I had some questions when starting this business. It’s an operationally intensive business, but it also has a big technology component. I’m pleased to have someone on board whom I felt confident with from day 1.

The technology that drives the business is something I came up with, but KitelyTech is tweaking that as we’ve been developing. They used HTML for most of their coding. They’ve implemented integrations with a catering and ordering platform that will also be used later as we build the individual delivery platform. They integrated with Grubhub directly on the website, so we can order right there. They’re also building software from scratch, which isn’t something I trust to just anyone.

How many resources have been assigned to your project?

In total, 20 developers have been involved in the project. I’ve personally interacted with 4 or 5 of them. I talk directly to the developers to clear up any questions. I’ve met some of them a few times when they’ve visited as well.

How did you come to work with KitelyTech?

I’d seen their work before with my other business and was impressed by their efficiency and timeliness and the quality of the final product.

How much have you invested with KitelyTech?

The project will cost between $200,000 and $400,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together a year and a half ago, and the work is ongoing. Now that we have financing, it should take 3 months to complete. The main part is done, but now we can attach other parts to it. We will also be building an application.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

Both of the sites they made for my businesses have a clean look and load quickly, which is extremely important for an e-commerce site.

How did KitelyTech perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re constantly busy. They work really hard and for long hours. They’re in constant communication, but we do go over the budget sometimes. Some projects have been done before the deadline, and others have been later. Compared to everyone else I’ve worked with in design or development, they’re the timeliest I’ve seen.

What did you find most impressive about KitelyTech?

Jason [CEO, KitelyTech] is an entrepreneur himself. When you’re looking at technology solutions, if there’s a problem, he also has the mindset of an entrepreneur. It’s not just about completing a task; there’s a definite business value added by their approach.

Are there any areas KitelyTech could improve?

No, we’re content with their work.

**The Review** — Jul 17, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: KitelyTech met expectations, building an app that's available for download. Their effective workflow complemented their professional management style. They work hard to bring their client's goals to life.
""My team and I had an amazing experience with KitelyTech!"
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I serve as the CFO at a gift giving app that lets users send drinks right to their friends phones.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire KitelyTech?

We hired Kitely to both design and develop our mobile application.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to create a first-class application that recreated the emotional experience of gifting.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

Our team chose Kitely because after talking with several software experts it became clear that Kitely was a highly regarded and respected firm. In addition, we really enjoyed all of ur conversations with Kitely employees, most notably their clear enthusiasm and commitment to partner with us on our project.

Describe the project in detail.

We had several calls with sales representatives and determined that Kitely was a good fit. Next, we spent several weeks with our project manager going back and forth on design. Once we approved the designs, the dev team built the application and then we made minor edits to the features and functionality of the app.

We worked almost exclusively with our project manager who worked internally with her UX Design and Development teams. The whole process was very seamless and was made very easy due to the fact that we only had to manage one point of contact.

My team and I had an amazing experience with KitelyTech! They are a first class firm that in addition to their expertise, is a pleasure to work with. Our project manager did an unbelievable job of partnering with us and making sure that Kitely met our unique needs every step of the way. Our experience could not have been easier and we could not be happier with our new app!!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. We would describe our desires to our project manager who would talk to her team and then come back to us with our options and her team's suggestions. Then we say what we wanted and she would turn the comments and the process would repeat.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I found that the company did an incredible job of understanding what our goal and vision was before we started. This was huge for us because it was our first application our team had ever built. With Kitely having an understanding of what we wanted from the onset, it allowed them to leverage their experience and help steer us in the direction that would help us deliver our dream product.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None

### SRK - Restaurant Management Software + App
Square Roots Kitchen was a fast-casual restaurant and catering company in the heart of downtown. Chicago KitelyTech was the partner for SRK for all things technology. We built the mobile apps, custom software, e-commerce website, touch screen panels, and did all the SEO, branding, and PR to get the word out about this revolutionary technology-meets-dining experience.

Together, the sprawling ecosystem we built for SRK included the ability to place orders, track delivery, manage inventory, replaced the front-of-house staff with self serve kiosks, and upgraded the back-of-house management system such as "micros" that most restaurants are forced to use. The end result was a technology platform that managed each step of the process from customer ordering, order receipt, and processing to staff and inventory management.

### Fitness Incentivization: Apps & Custom Software
Quantivize Health was a revolutionary wellness program — in the form of Android and iOS applications and web panels— that incentivized and rewarded the employees of participating companies for regular exercise. Beyond the practical implications at a singular-business level, Quantivize Health had big implications for the health insurance industry as the first action-based behavior modifier of its kind.

We designed and developed iOS and Android applications that sync wearables (FitBit, Apple Watch) with user devices in real time. Project is rounded out with an online web portal (for client-side HR points of contact) and a robust super admin panel (for client management and data collection).

Quantivize Health was acquired by cash-back health app Paceline in 2020.

### NOAR - Custom Website + SEO
Working closely with NOAR Technologies, KitelyTech created a website as cutting edge as the tech they sell. Featuring complex layouts, animations, and videography, this website is a testament to our technical skill and design process.

### Bird Photography - Website - SEO - Big Data
Photographer Owen Deutsch needed a way to show off  his flock of beautiful bird photos from around the world. Together we created an amazing web portfolio with an interactive globe which shows off his wonderful collection in a brilliant and arresting way.

Owen’s team provided us with a spreadsheet of tens of thousands of birds, along with bird calls and identifying characteristics. We worked with them to display this data in a clean and compelling way, while allowing users to search for and sort birds in a variety of ways based on their interests.

### Custom Software & Mobile Apps for Logistics Giant
Out-of-the-box solutions often cannot function in the way that a company needs to use them for its specific applications. We worked with our client, a logistics company focused on hauling fuel, to build a custom logistics application that managed disparate sets of data while organizing logistics chains.

We built both mobile and web apps with the ability to track drivers, upload orders, monitor shipments, send invoices, manage staff / customers / stations / equipment, message drivers and customers, and adjust freight rates. Users had access to various features based on their permissions level, and we rounded out the platform with robust reporting and data analytics capabilities to always provide management and key stakeholders with real-time data to make informed business decisions.
