**The Review** — Jun 27, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) has made the client's site highly functional by adding useful features and reducing bugs. The team is very communicative, and they've brought great knowledge, resources, and processes to the table, making them an excellent long-term partner with vast technical expertise.
"“Kinemeric's (CXR Agency) breadth of technical knowledge and resources is impressive.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the director of SEO and SEM at a fashion design and wholesale company. I also manage our software development team.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We needed to re-platform our consumer-facing website.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?CemtrexLabs has helped us take our web hosting and management from our previous vendor and transition its whole infrastructure over to a new platform. Since then, we’ve kept them on board to help us with various other projects, including feature improvements on the current website and the website revamp we plan to do next year.As for the technology stack, our site is built on WordPress, so CemtrexLabs has helped us transition it onto the WP Engine cloud-based hosting service. They’ve also integrated GitHub as well.Other of CemtrexLabs tasks have included web design, research, web infrastructure development, and software development. For example, we’ve worked with their design team on the upcoming project. This project has included competitor research, wireframe development, and design so far. What is the team composition?I currently work with a project manager, 2–3 software developers, and a QA contributor. We’ve scaled up our staffing with them to 8+ resources in the past, including additional software developers and senior management for strategic guidance. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?I found them through a Google search that led me to their profile on a reviewing site. How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent over $100,000 so far, and we will continue investing in their services over the next few years. What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in September 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? CemtrexLabs has been a powerful addition to our organization — I absolutely recommend working with them. At this point, I see them as our long-term technology partners. Everything they’ve brought to the table, including the products they’ve developed, the processes they’ve implemented, and the people who have worked on those projects, has been of the highest quality.Since the initial website migration, their proactive approach has reduced the frequency of website bugs and errors and has enabled us to respond far faster than before when issues do arise. They’ve also helped us transition to a more secure and stable content publishing process, and they’ve delivered more than 10 features that improve our website usability, both for consumers and administrators. How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?CemtrexLabs’ project management is excellent. A website infrastructure transition project can get very messy, but they were able to get it done on time and on budget. Overall, their estimates have been accurate, and they’ve been able to deliver against those. We use Teamwork for project management and have a daily standup meeting via Google Meet. Additionally, we use email, text messaging, and phone calls for regular communication when needed. What did you find most impressive about them?CemtrexLabs’ breadth of technical knowledge and resources is impressive. Although we’ve used them for a limited set of technologies so far — mainly WordPress — we know they have AR and VR technology experts in their team. As we’re getting ready to revamp our site, we’re confident that they’ll be able to help us with headless technology and whatever other technology needs we might have as our business continues to evolve. Are there any areas they could improve? No.Do you have any advice for potential customers? The way I work with CemtrexLabs is by collaborating and engaging with them every single day, which is what has made our project so successful. Treat them as true partners instead of simple service providers, and they’ll be able to deliver.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? We ran an RFP with three potential vendors and chose CXR on the basis of chemistry, vision, capabilities and priceDescribe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used. The project eventually manifested itself in three distinct phases:Initial visualization in VR (using Tiltbrush)Translating to mobile (AR) creating key visuals, flow diagrams and wireframesCreating a working prototype in VR, again using a combination of Tiltbrush and UnityHow many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?About 4, the key people being Creative Director, EVP of Sales & Marketing and a Project Manager.....

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables? This is early stage prototype development so no specific metric other than we were highly satisfied with the outcome which both meets our needs as an early stage demo for potential partners and provides the bedrock for further development and build...Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.Well organised, collaborative and transparentWhat did you find most impressive or unique about this company?Their uncompromising creativity enables them to go toe-to-toe with those who refuse to accept conventional solutions. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently? There was a constant creative tension between developing something unique for the here and now that wouldn't as a result only achieve scale in an imagined technological future in five years time (i.e. when VR, for example, might have achieved decent penetration amongst the population as a whole rather than just gamers). However, developing for the future and then adapting for the present did inspire the end result.

Responsiveness, depth, experience, breadth of capabilities, flexibility...Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used. This was a scoping and recommendation project. Therer were 8 sprints that lasted 2-3 weeks each. How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?I don't know the titles, but we had a pm, 3 designers, an interactions guru and at least 4 others. The CEO was on almost every call and always available to talk to before or after calls.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables? On time, on target, on budget.Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.Very efficient, great tools, multibrush wasn't what we hoped, but did end up working well. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?Team was in constant communication regarding progress, details and challenges – allowing for smooth progress and total clarify about timeline and scope Designers had wonderful ideas that they were able to evolve quickly based on feedback. Working with their experienced team offered an unmatched level of industry and technical knowledge. These came with general flexibility that greatly contributed to the final productAre there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?PM's should be client advocates. On occasion we felt over managed and that the PM stretched his responsibilities beyond project management. Minor issue for sure, we understood where he was coming from, but some room for imporvement.

**Feedback Summary**: The client trusts Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) to deliver software solutions that can generate revenue. Kinemeric's (CXR Agency) team is collaborative and works independently to produce software solutions that meet the client's goals 99% of the time. Kinemeric's (CXR Agency) flexibility and accountability make the partnership a success.
""Their team is very fluid — they ensure we have the resources to tackle projects of all sizes.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I'm the digital business lead and head of product for our US digital division at a multi-billion dollar publishing firm with two of the most sold magazines that have websites we maintain. We are currently undergoing internal changes because another publishing company recently acquired our company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs?I started in my current position in February 2020, right after my company migrated the editorial websites' CMS to WordPress. The company handling that service was very costly, and getting anything done outside of the scope of work was very expensive. We needed another off-shore solution to manage product and software upgrades because we have no in-house development or engineering resources.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?CemtrexLabs runs all of our software development projects. They maintain our websites and upgrade them as needed; their team upgrades and updates our site plug-ins. Whenever we need new features added to the site, we reach out to CemtrexLabs for soup-to-nuts development. They design and develop prototypes that meet our requirements; once approved, the CemtrexLabs team develops the product. Their team also handles product QA. What is the team composition? We've worked with a project manager and several developers and engineers. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs? We knew it wouldn't be cost-effective to continue working with our previous vendor. We were working with WordPress VIP, and their team came to us with several suggestions for development partners. Once we received their suggestions, we put 6–7 companies through a rigorous vetting process. We spent six weeks interviewing firms, but CemtrexLabs' services were the closest to what we needed. After a six-month trial period, we hired CemtrexLabs. How much have you invested with them? We’ve invested $70,000–$110,000 with CemtrexLabs. What is the status of this engagement? Our engagement with CemtrexLabs began in August 2020, and it's ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? Our partnership with CemtrexLabs is very collaborative. We can go to them with a basic idea, and they'll work alongside my team to build out a solution. This collaborative work style is excellent because they can work independently to develop solutions after we present them with an idea — we don't have to hold their hand throughout a project. My time is limited and I don't want to micromanage them. Overall, CemtrexLabs is on the mark 99% of the time. The modifications we've made to our platforms with CemtrexLabs have been great. We've brought in a lot of revenue because of CemtrexLabs' output. We've found efficiencies and ways to get around spending large sums of money on small solutions. Our team now works a lot more efficiently and is cash-flow positive. How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?CemtrexLabs manages our projects well, despite having ebbs and flows in the number of projects we have for them to work on. Their team is very fluid — they ensure we have the resources to tackle projects of all sizes. Whenever I need to discuss a potential project or existing project issues, there is always someone from CemtrexLabs' team available. CemtrexLabs has also accommodated my request for an on-shore project manager. What did you find most impressive about them? It's tough to pinpoint precisely what makes CemtrexLabs so great, but their flexibility is unbelievable. Their flexibility, coupled with the constant communication and accountability, is what makes our relationship so successful. Are there any areas they could improve?I have nothing for CemtrexLabs to improve. Anytime I've requested a project change, they've accommodated me. Do you have any advice for potential customers?I'd advise customers to be upfront about their challenges and development situation with CemtrexLabs. Transparency will help CemtrexLabs prepare for any engagement. It's also important for customers to rely on CemtrexLabs to deliver what needs to be done.

**The Review** — Apr 6, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: The client was displeased with Kinemeric's (CXR Agency) lack of clarity regarding the budget and the specific work being done to improve the site's SEO environment. Regular meetings missed salient points of discussion and cost valuable time. Attempts to remedy the situation were not engaged with. This review includes the vendor's response.
""We don’t want another company like ours to fall into the same trap." "

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.Respondent 1: I’m the operations manager of a content company.Respondent 2: I’m the director of marketing. I oversee anything related to awareness, publicity, and the website, which is a big marketing tool.Respondent 3: I’m the owner.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? R1: We were trying to optimize our website speed, as well as ensure that our site was as mobile friendly as possible. A third focus was optimizing the page for SEO.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?R2: I can’t speak to the tools they were using behind the scenes. We asked them what was happening on the backend and we asked them about the marketing technology stack but they were very gated with us. They never let us see what was happening on the backend. All we saw was a staging page for the site after weeks and weeks. Given my past experience with websites, you’re given access early on to go in and experiment, rather than being forced to wait and see. We lost a lot of time in not being able to give them feedback until the end. We gave them some small feedback along the way, but it was like moving in baby steps.R1: The SEO was similarly gated. We shared what we wanted to achieve but it wasn’t clear what they were providing on the backend with the rewrite of our website theme. Despite raising the conversation quite frequently, we were only told at the end that SEO development was out of scope and that it would cost us more money to bring on an SEO expert. This was very confusing and counter to the work order that we signed, which explicitly stated technical SEO updates and optimizations.R2: One of our own employees ended up doing the SEO work.  What is the team composition?R1: We had a project manager who technically led every review call. He was challenging to work with. At the beginning, we spoke with one of the top marketing people at the company, but he wasn’t present on most of the calls after we signed the work order. There were quite a few web developers (6–7 additional people) on the calls as well, and even though we were paying for them to be there, we didn’t hear from them much, which was quite frustrating. There was also a bit of a communication barrier. Changes that we requested would get misinterpreted, and sometimes it felt like our review calls would take twice as long as they needed to. We raised this issue at the outset with the project manager in the hopes of addressing it early on and not wasting anyone’s time or money, but it was never really resolved.R2: The project manager did not appear knowledgeable or involved. Calls that were supposed to last for 30 minutes or one hour would sometimes only take seven minutes. They didn’t charge us for these meetings, but it seemed very unnecessary. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs? R1: We reached out to our hosting company, and they recommended several web developers that were knowledgeable of WordPress VIP, which is the hosting platform we use. This prompted the initial conversation. They are very good marketers, so they did a great job of selling what they could offer us, but, unfortunately, they didn’t fulfill those promises. How much have you invested with them?R1: We spent over $80,000 with them. What is the status of this engagement?R1: We worked together from November 2021–March 2022.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
How did CemtrexLabs address the challenges that arose?R2: They did not apologize or take any responsibility for their actions. Rather than agreeing to meet us halfway or even a quarter of the way, we still have to pay them $80,000. At the end of the day, they didn’t listen to us or care to, and now we have to pay for a theme that we can’t push live.Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.R1: We’re taking the time to leave this review because we’re very passionate about what a horrible experience we had with this company, and we don’t want another company like ours to fall into the same trap. It’s very easy to run a speed test, so we ran the revised theme through it and it performed more poorly than our existing site did. This was an obvious failure. For mobile optimization, we found many issues during the final review: coding wasn’t correct, images and icons weren’t displayed correctly, etc. Over 80% of our audience accesses our site on mobile devices, so this was an enormous issue.R2: We brought up this issue constantly. When they showed us the initial mockup, it was on a 10-year-old mobile phone. Their skill wasn’t what they’d advertised regarding mobile.R1: One of the parts of the work order was ad placement. A good portion of our revenue comes from the banner ads on our website. In the final review, the ads weren’t loading correctly, which would have significantly impacted our revenue. For this reason alone, we couldn’t have pushed their theme live. With SEO, we never received a clear understanding of what they did on the backend to optimize it. Therefore, it was impossible to determine whether their new theme would have had a positive impact or not.How was project management handled?R1: We did have regular sprint calls on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. They didn’t do a great job of letting us know what we were at with the budget, where it was being used (mobile, SEO, etc.) There was never a clear background. When we wrote the termination notice in March, I asked for a breakdown of how that $80,000 was used, and we never received it.R2: They always gave us the runaround, claiming that all the information was provided in the calls even though it was not. It was exhausting to the point that they purposefully didn’t want to understand what we were saying.R1: We had our review calls over Zoom, and they used Teamwork internally. They also created a Slack channel with us.Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?R1: They get a 10 out of 10 for being amazing marketers.R2: They did a bait in switch. The sales person disappeared and would only appear on calls to fight us on questions or issuesIn what specific areas can they improve?R1: First, they could be more open and candid about how their budget is being spent. Having regular conversations with clients will make them feel more valued. Additionally, responding that every change requested is out of the scope makes clients feel that they can never have a real conversation. We didn’t feel valued by them. Finally, analyzing how often it’s necessary to meet with the client will help everyone make the best use of their time. Beyond their people on the calls, we also had some of our other team members on the calls, and they ended up being a pretty big waste of time and money.R2: Don’t tell client’s that your capabilities are beyond what they actually are. They sold us on the fact that they were mobile experts, but they were just pretending, in my view.  What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?R1: Looking back, our work order was not detailed enough, and we really regret that as a company. It was much too vague. How you interpret some of the parts of the work order may be different than how they interpret them. Ensure that the work order and the results you're expecting are very detailed.R2: I’m not trying to be too negative, but I would never recommend that someone work with them. There are just too many companies out there that are doing a much better job.

**Company Response**
The vendor responded on April 19, 2022.This review is inaccurate in many ways, and their characterization of our company is demonstrably false.      Many issues were caused by a misunderstanding of the project scope. We had extensive conversations with their CTO and created a plan for multiple phases of work. But the client fired their CTO within an hour of signing the Letter of Engagement and Work Order.      That CTO was replaced by a committee of 4-6 non-technical stakeholders who admitted they didn’t understand any aspect of website development, the signed contract, or the agreed-upon scope of work.      As a result, we faced multiple communication challenges throughout despite following industry best practices. They often gave contradictory instructions and repeatedly held back their feedback for over a week, which exceeded the timeline stipulated in our contract.      For example, despite approving our designs during discovery and having access to the finished pages when we shared builds at the end of every sprint, the client changed their mind on some of the pages and mobile designs, demanding they be redone in the last week of the project.      The work order for technical SEO optimization also seemed to be a major point of confusion. We had a team of developers optimizing their site, but they asked us detailed questions about their article content. That was outside of the project scope. When we added someone to the team to fill this role, the client had us remove them because they realized that adding more resources and out of scope requests would require additional budget.

**The Review** — Sep 21, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: Since they partnered up with Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency), the client was able to increase their client portfolio and improve their operational savings by up to $300,000. The internal stakeholders were particularly impressed with their innovative approach to software development.
""They were very well-versed in the nuances of this emerging industry, which was important to us.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the CEO of an immersive tech company that focuses on education and training.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We were trying to accomplish a scalable white label solution that would increase the efficiency of the product not only for our internal team, but also from a UX standpoint. Essentially, we wanted to give businesses the right tools to administer low-level tasks, that come with managing inventory and immersive content.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? The project started with an in-depth discovery session where we worked with their creative director and visionary office, as well as some of the lead architects and 3D artists. After we ironed out the deliverables, timelines, and goals, we then put those concepts into execution and developed this project from the ground up using various SDKs and software tools. What is the team composition? We worked with roughly around 7–8 people from their team. We had a project manager, a lead architect, technical artists, 3D artists, and a couple of developers. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs? They were highly recommended by my mentor. We worked hand-in-hand when I moved to New York then he introduced me to Lucky (EVP of Sales & Marketing), who told me about his company and how they might be able to help me.We thought that they truly understood what our vision was and what we were looking to accomplish — it gave us peace of mind that they were the right team to work with. How much have you invested with them?We spent roughly around $130,000.What is the status of this engagement? We worked together from February–October 2017.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We’re a very young company and we only had one client prior to working with CemtrexLabs. When we engaged with them, we were able to garner more than four times the customers. Apart from that, we analyzed the cost analysis of hiring full-time employees against an agile development team, and the latter turned out to be a much more efficient route. Working with CemtrexLabs probably saved us at least $300,000.How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint? They were great from a project management perspective, as they were very organized and transparent. We had a technical internal team, but we just didn’t have the human capital to facilitate what they were doing — thanks to CemtrexLabs, we were informed about the specific aspects of what we were working on.Furthermore, their project management style was very transparent, and the sprints and deliverables moved efficiently. We mostly communicated through Google Hangouts. What did you find most impressive about them?I like that they have a very unique approach when it came to AR/VR development. They were very well-versed in the nuances of this emerging industry, which was important to us, because traditional software development is very different from augmented reality development. Are there any areas they could improve? It’s hard to pinpoint since we were very happy with the overall outcome of the relationship, which we still have to this day. However, if I can recall,  there were a couple of pieces of software they were unfamiliar with at the time — but to their credit, they were able to adapt and learn from that experience.Do you have any advice for potential customers?I believe you need to have a solid understanding of what you’re trying to accomplish because CemtrexLabs won’t be doing the work for you. They pride themselves on collaborating and bringing out the best in any project. Even if you don’t have the answers, make sure you at least have a solid foundation of what you’re trying to achieve.

""They did a great job handling a non-technical founder such as myself.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.Founder and CEO of SaaS startup

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire CemtrexLabs, and what were your goals?Build Webapp from scratch for all UI, UX, design, and development services.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?3 main factors: They have a great website so I figured they could build me a good one too, they communicated the best during my selection process, and offered the most reasonable priceDescribe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.Started literally from scratch. It was an idea I had written down and I tasked them with using their tech stack to build this from the ground up. We created a webapp that has 5 user types, search algorithms, and other various logic components. Key deliverable was a live, fully functioning version of the website that was only a thought in my mind 16 months ago. Second contract included updates and refined the product offerings. How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?I only worked with one person on a regular basis, who was the liaison between me and most of the team- Project Manager. I met regularly with the main project managers from each department at least once per week.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?Considering that I only had written instructions for what I wanted before I submitted the assets over to the team to start reviewing. They did a great job handling a non-technical founder such as myself.Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.Timeliness: Short-term deadlines were usually met, but the broader contract final deadline was very delayed. The first contract was extended by 149% of the original contract duration (additional 155 days), and the second contract was extended by 90.5% of the contract's duration (additional 76 days) Project management: Start with what I wanted to build, clarify points, start UI/UX, refine design, develop functionalities. Communication tools: Teamworks online communication platformWhat did you find most impressive or unique about this company?I found it very impressive how well they were able to work with a non-technical founder and build something from just an idea and a few Word/Excel documents into a fully-functioning webappAre there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?Improved transparency, communication, and support. I may never find this, but I'll always hope to find an agency that can truly act as my own internal team. For example- offering suggestions and relating new functionalities to other parts of the webapp. I also say transparency because I am confident that they withheld on going above and beyond to create a better application for me because they didn't want to go above budget. However, I would've liked to know what it would've costed for extra things like: Not using stock imagery, creating a better UX for sign ups and certain menu items (I often found myself googling how to improve UI/UX to give them suggestions), spending time figuring out bug fixes (I ended up fixing one on my own), etc.

What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We’ve worked on a ton of different projects together. They’ve done web development, AR/VR development, and web app development for our clients. We’re now starting our sixth project with them this year.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What was the scope of their involvement? When we know we want to begin a project, we bring them on board right away. They help us look at what we’re trying to achieve and outline the design and development phases. With their help, we identify what approaches we can take while staying within our budget. approaches we can from a design and development standpoint take while staying within our budget. Once we align ourselves on the budget and timeline, they execute. For web development, they usually work in WordPress. From the architecture and  UX/UI design to full-on coding and deployment, they’re completely involved in the process. They hold our hands and walk our clients through the deployment. They even handle hosting and have changed IP addresses for our clients.  Recently, they developed an AR experience to support a new film. They helped us create filters and launch them across Facebook and Instagram. They took key art from the film and readapted those assets to create a consumer-filtered journey experience from a microsite into social media. It was a name generator that populated a filter. What is the team composition?Lucky (Executive VP of Sales & Marketing) is my go-to contact. **The Review** — Mar 7, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: The engagement helped the client showcase their diverse capabilities while promoting the restaurants they work with. Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) enabled this success through on-time completion of project deliverables and flawless communication. The firm was flexible when the scope of the project changed.
""Whenever we hit a snag, they were transparent and contributed several options to help us solve problems.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the senior director of revenue operations at a restaurant reviews and recommendations platform. Primarily, I support our sales team with direct and indirect deals.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We contracted them for a custom landing page.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We needed a vendor to produce a microsite for one of our large clients. The final product needed several different pieces of modular, mobile-responsive content. We also needed it to make updates in real-time for a two-week restaurant activation. As part of this, we contracted three restaurants from across the country to have a takeover day, encouraging a return to work lunches and emphasizing the importance of taking a break. CemtrexLabs provided us with the staff and resources needed to deliver on all things necessary for the project. Using AWS and creative we provided them for the frontend, they produced a website to facilitate this project. They handled the front- and backend development work.  What is the team composition? We worked with their engineering resources, a UX design specialist, creative teammates, and project management resources. Their engineers included a G-Suite expert.  How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs? They reached out to us in a prospecting effort, offering services we were looking for at the time. Then, we developed a rate card for the different scenarios we needed for our clients in terms of website design and functionalities. Once we got a client on the hook, we were able to begin immediately because we had the pricing and roadmap we were looking for. We had all the information available to get started on this project at the right time, so it was an easy choice for us. How much have you invested with them?We spent about $20,000–$25,000. What is the status of this engagement? We connected in June 2020 and wrapped the project up in November 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? This project showed the world that we’re more than just a restaurant review company; we can handle impressive website projects and social-first integrations. Plus, the business impact we made for participating restaurants during the pandemic was second to none. We helped keep businesses open during a time where many small businesses were closing their doors. This project was extremely successful in driving sales and keeping restaurants in business. From an internal sales and marketing perspective, the project demonstrated our capabilities and potential offerings for other similar programs. We still use the site as a pre-sales tool, showcasing our past work to prospective clients.     How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?Everything was delivered on time, and the communication was flawless. They used Teamwork, which allowed us to keep track of emails and updates. We communicated through a video conferencing tool. The cost came in slightly higher than anticipated, but that’s because the scope of work changed. We needed to increase the scope of work for our client, so they abided by the budget given that change. What did you find most impressive about them? They completed all deliverables in a timely fashion and were proactive in communicating any delays or changes based on our requests. Whenever we hit a snag, they were transparent and contributed several options to help us solve problems. They were also able to ping individual team members to help with certain action items to keep us on track. Are there any areas they could improve? There were a few instances where they were nickel-and-diming us for add-ons. I would have rather incurred the extra fees over time and have been charged one sum instead. This isn’t the nature of the business, though, so I can’t complain. We just ran into some unexpected cost requirements.  Do you have any advice for potential customers?I highly recommend them for their technology and website solutions. They understand our competitive landscape, so they knew the needs of our clients and sponsors. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a custom web design and functionality.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We hired them for app, web, and AR development

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?I provided them a few briefs, notes, and imagery. They worked on a variety of projects — mostly AR experiences — to promote sweepstakes we were holding. They developed web pages that explained the sweepstakes and allowed users to enter. They also helped us manage the backend. What is the team composition?I dealt with 2–3 people on their team. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?I was introduced to one of their leaders. I talked to them for a few years before we began working on this project. I often ran concepts by them to determine if we could actually execute them. Finally, due to COVID-19, our clients began looking for more digital experiences, so it made sense to begin working on these projects.  How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent over $60,000.What is the status of this engagement? The project lasted from May–July 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? They’re very attentive. I was satisfied. How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint? They performed very well and were on top of things. They did their best to meet our timeline and didn’t charge us additional fees to work quickly.  They were able to complete most of our projects in 1–2 months each. All of our communication was through a project management tool. What did you find most impressive about them? They’re very confident and they have a solution for everything. Are there any areas they could improve? There were some communication issues surrounding billing — the initial estimate was just for development, and I didn’t realize that there would be additional fees. I wanted them to handle every part of the project, so I was surprised by licensing fees when I wanted them to register our domain.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Make sure you lay out the details and outline what everything will cost ahead of time.

**The Review** — Apr 3, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: The project was completed successfully. Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) was very helpful—they provided excellent guidance, worked quickly to address bugs, and managed the project well. Communicating efficiently, they finished the project on time, allowing the magazine to increase its revenue.
"“They were on top of everything. Every task was tracked, managed, and checked off once it was completed.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the chief media officer at a holding company for print publishers.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We just acquired a new magazine, so brought in CemtrexLabs to help us migrate the website onto a new CMS.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? As an outsource development firm, we hired them to run the project end to end. Essentially, they created the project scope, timeline, and they had to move the website from one CMS to WordPress VIP. This included all of the media assets that go with that, like video and image content. At the same time, we had to integrate about 30+ platforms that operate the site, like ad and revenue-based platforms, analytics, social media, CMS ad serving, all of that needed to be moved. They also ensured that the site looked and functioned exactly the same. We didn’t want any downtime on the site post-migration. We had to cut over without the consumers knowing. They ensured that our SEO was set up properly as well so we didn’t have any broken links from other platforms. Because of that, everything had to be tightly coordinated.  How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs? This is the third project I’ve worked on with them. The first time I hired them, they had the best price and delivered on time. We ran the same diligent process this time, and they were 50% of the price of their competitors. Still, they delivered a great product on time. What is the status of this engagement? They only had four months to do the entire project. It lasted From October 2019–January 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? This project allowed us to have full control over our digital infrastructure and platform, where we generate about a third of our company’s revenue. By delivering on time, we were able to take control of the site, integrate new revenue platforms, and generate new revenue. They provided a lot of guidance on how to things properly so it wouldn’t impact our links and SEO. They helped us every step of the way.How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint? They were very buttoned-up. They’re an overseas company, but they had local support, so we couldn’t really tell the difference. Occasionally, we had to accommodate their hours, but overall, that helped us work around the clock. They were on top of everything. Every task was tracked, managed, and checked off once it was completed. All bug fixes were handled rapidly. On the day of the launch, they sent someone to our office to make sure we had a seamless cutover. Overall, it was very efficient. They worked in an agile methodology so they were very flexible to make sure everything was delivered on time. Our internal product manager worked with them to ensure that they had access to everything they needed. They used a cloud-based communication software, so we informed throughout the project. As a manger, that really helped me.What did you find most impressive about them? The key element with them was that they set a budget and a target for the timeline, and they delivered on it. I’ve worked with a lot of other development shops, and they flip dates constantly or don’t deliver on time. Really, they’re not as efficient as these guys. On the other hand, CemtrexLabs kept us on track and made sure we hit our deadlines. They were really professional. Are there any areas they could improve? There may have been some communication about our ad tagging structure, but it wasn’t entirely their fault. They worked through it.Do you have any advice for potential customers? You need a full-time product manager to manage the relationship and to make sure you’re coordinating internally. You need to be very responsive to them.

**Feedback Summary**: All stakeholders were pleased with Kinemeric's (CXR Agency) ability to deliver within an aggressive timeline. The team is ambitious and reliable, and even provided live DevOps support. The developers placed a particular emphasis on UX components.
""The team had the ability to persevere through the challenges of developing the applications up to standard.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there. At the time of my engagement with CemtrexLabs, I was the Interim Director of Technology for Abu Dhabi Media, a media organization.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs?I was helping restructure the digital department of our company. We had a few applications that needed to be developed.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?CemtrexLabs was responsible for building several applications, as well as mobile and wearable development. The team worked on both design and engineering components under a strict timeline. There was a particular emphasis on UX.The CemtrexLabs team supported two core projects. The API, developed for a news service, had both CMS and feed ingestion components. After the news portal launched, we integrated an application that allowed users to vote during a popular television show on their mobile phones. The results would be displayed on live broadcast graphics. What is the team composition? We worked with six or seven people at any given time. We had one or two mobile developers for each application, the CTO, a full-time API person, and two UX designers and two QA people. We rotated team members as needed. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?CemtrexLabs was highly recommended to me by another firm who’d used their services in the past. I met them, and we ended up building a relationship. We knew we would have to single source the project, as we were working on such a short timeline, so we needed someone who we trusted to take on the work. How much have you invested in them?We spent between $250,000–$500,000 on their services. What is the status of this engagement? We worked with them from April - July 2015.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? In terms of metrics, we didn’t track traffic and performance as major KPIs, largely because we are a relatively small nation and we knew there would be a finite number of users downloading the news application.  We were really impressed by CemtrexLabs’ UX and creative capabilities, especially given the nature of the app as a traditional content managing, newsgathering, and publishing platform. The team ended up building out not only the mobile CMS but also the scheduling for the broader editorial teams that were linked to their social media profiles. CemtrexLabs’ skill allowed us to finish the project on time without any issues. We would be happy to work with their team again in the future if the opportunity occurs. How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?I have my own project management system where I like to do documentation in a very specific way, and they were happy to accommodate me.What did you find most impressive about them?CemtrexLabs’ flexibility was impressive. The team had the ability to persevere through the challenges of developing the applications up to standard. When it was necessary, they did live DevOps for us at extremely inconvenient times of the day.Are there any areas they could improve?CemtrexLabs is ambitious to a fault, which is generally a good thing. If you have a client that needs someone to understand the risks involved in a super-compressed timeline, CemtrexLabs is great to work with because they will actually do it, but I think you need to have a certain type of personality to take this on.Do you have any advice for potential customers? The more you know what you actually want to build upfront, the more successful the project is going to be because you can drive it forward very quickly and won’t face scope creep.

"“Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) helped bring our idea to life as opposed to just building off a blueprint.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the co-owner of a contracting company based in Long Island that works primarily in the tri-state area.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We needed assistance developing an app that has a dashboard for ourselves and one for our customers, who put in sporadic requests at odd times throughout the day.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?CemtrexLabs developed both an iOS and Android version of our mobile app. The team helped us develop the wireframes, whittle down the design, and include all our needs. We needed the app to set reminders for our customers. After a customer requests a service, the application sends reminders and pictures. The app also has mapping services and linked to a variety of users throughout our supply chain. What is the team composition? Our main point of contact was Mahesh (Project Manager, CemtrexLabs), but we also worked closely with Andrew (Creative Director, CemtrexLabs) who sat in on every meeting. We also worked with Lucky (EVP of Sales & Marketing, CemtrexLabs) and his brother Ash (Chief Design Officer & Director of Operations, CemtrexLabs). We had at least five people consistently working on the project, but when all is said and done, probably 20 people worked on the project. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs? We spoke to five different companies before going with CemtrexLabs. We were introduced to Lucky and Ash through word of mouth and sat down with them. It was just fantastic right off the bat, there was a synergy between our companies. We are both companies run by brothers and their price was extremely reasonable so it was a perfect fit for us. How much have you invested with them?We have invested between $60,000–$70,000.What is the status of this engagement? Our engagement with CemtrexLabs ran from June–October 2019.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? While the app has not officially been launched, we have previewed it to a few of our customers and they were all thrilled with it. They’ve never seen anything like it service-wise. Customers loved the look and simplicity of it. Which is exactly what we wanted, a simple and effective platform. How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?Cemtrex was willing to work with our schedule. We don’t have work orders given to us days or weeks ahead of time, everything is absolutely last minute. In terms of scheduling, we had a meeting once a week, but they were very flexible about rescheduling. We’re not very tech-savvy, but they worked to talk us through exactly what was going on in a language we could understand. What did you find most impressive about them?CemtrexLabs helped bring our idea to life as opposed to just building off a blueprint. They added a lot of value to the platform. Everyone at the company was a pleasure to deal with. Are there any areas they could improve?Everything went swimmingly. They gave us every tool to communicate with them and were always available to us. Everything came out perfect.Do you have any advice for potential customers? No matter how big or small your idea is, sit down with Lucky and Ash to talk through the idea. They will provide you with every conceivable outcome or finished product they could provide for you. They broke down a few different tiers of products they could deliver based on our price points. They’ll take care of you.

**Feedback Summary**: Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) built a high-quality mobile app that continues to grow in popularity and receive positive feedback from users. Their team also continues to help improve the app, offering valuable feedback and tackling phases of the project with a great deal of flexibility and responsiveness.
"“The app Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) built is being downloaded by thousands of people every week.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I'm the CEO of GameIQ Inc., a consolidated rewards platform.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We hired CemtrexLabs to develop our mobile app from scratch.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?CemtrexLabs initially developed a proof of concept of our mobile app, using some basic wireframes and flow charts we provided. Following a discovery process, they created detailed technical and functional specifications for both iOS and Android and then developed the app using native technologies. What is the team composition? We mostly worked with Ashwin (Chief Design Officer and Director of Operations, CemtrexLabs) and Lucky (Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, CemtrexLabs) in the beginning. They eventually put together a team for us that includes a project manager and several designers and developers. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs? We interviewed 8–10 different companies during the selection process and ultimately felt that CemtrexLabs best fit our criteria. They were one of the most competitively priced companies we considered and we liked that they were small enough to provide more attentive customer service. How much have you invested with them?We invested about $100,000, which includes additional versions of the app. What is the status of this engagement? They worked on the first version of the platform from April–November 2015, but we've since incorporated several revisions after testing the product on the market. They continue to work with us to update the app, incorporate integrations, and fix any bugs as needed.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? The app CemtrexLabs built is being downloaded by thousands of people every week. Overall, it's been a very successful development process and deployment, and the app continues to improve over time. How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?Their responsiveness, accessibility, and project management flow is one of the main reasons we decided to work with them in the first place. They've done a great job of embedding themselves on our team, balancing both informal approaches to communication with the use of professional platforms like Trello to track tasks. They're a lot more flexible in their approach compared to larger organizations, but there's just enough of a process in place to make sure the project is trackable and transparent. What did you find most impressive about them? From my experience, it's been critical to provide outsourced companies with very detailed specifications to build to, but I can count on CemtrexLabs to do more than blindly execute. They take a collaborative approach and provide a lot of valuable feedback based on their extensive expertise. Are there any areas they could improve? Not particularly. In the beginning, we spent some time figuring out which project management tools worked best for us, but once we worked it out, it's been relatively seamless since.Do you have any advice for potential customers? It's important to spend time going through a discovery phase to solidify the project specifications in the beginning. CemtrexLabs did a great job of helping us scope out the project in great detail, so they'd be able to deliver exactly what we wanted.

What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We were looking for a development firm to build our FinTech platform from scratch within a relatively short timeframe. Since it takes time to launch a business within a very competitive market, we needed to quickly onboard a cost-effective team that had expertise in several different areas.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?CemtrexLabs developed a low-scale marketing and distribution platform that allows users to navigate the investment process easily. One of our main tasks was ensuring that the user interaction was simple and clean. Since we have a lot of domain experience, we guided CemtrexLabs through what we wanted to achieve. They worked with us to create and deliver a functional product, using React, MySQL, and Node.js.There’s a standard user portal setup with dual authentication, which we use to collect data. Users can then set up notifications within the platform to regulate information distribution. This includes sending marketing emails, controlling which users receive notifications, and communicating via text through a Twilio integration. So, if a user wanted to buy a certain number of stocks in a company, they could just send a text directly to the portal.Currently, we keep their team on as support to fill in any tech gaps. We don’t always have the resources available to service every area of the platform, which is always pretty robust. They’re also helpful with strategic thinking. What is the team composition?Lucky (Executive VP of Sales & Marketing, CemtrexLabs) is my main point of contact, but there are also 2–3 developers. Since the project kicked off, their team has run the process, and they’re all fantastic. It just feels seamless. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?I found them through a trusted friend who has been working with them for a long time. The all-around service that they provided felt right for our project. How much have you invested with them? We’ve invested $50,000 so far. What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in 2017, and the work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We followed a strategic development process: after building a stripped-down initial MVP, we tested it with beta users for a few months to make sure that there weren’t any critical errors. From that point on, we’d release constant iterations. Now, we gather pain points every few months on what isn’t working or needs improvement and address them in a new sprint. How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint?CemtrexLabs has a really good team that’s easy to interact with. Their main sales reps are based in New York, so there’s always a touchpoint here in the US. If anything needs to be addressed, we lean on them for help. They also help us think strategically about what we want to build and how to go about it.A lot of their coding power is actually overseas, and the developers are efficient at working remotely. The coders are leaders in the building process, and we interact with them on a daily basis when going through a sprint.Typically, we communicate through email whenever we encounter an issue or want to develop something. We use their proprietary project management tool to coordinate tasks and they’ve been great at keeping to schedule. We’ve occasionally missed a few deadlines, but that hasn’t had a negative impact on our project. If anything, it’s always worked out for us. It’s better to take longer to do something right than to rush it and get it wrong. What did you find most impressive about them? They’ve been a supportive partner, and we’ve had a really good experience. The team takes the time to understand what we’re trying to accomplish before lying out a few options to proceed. I also appreciate their grasp on cutting-edge technology. They have a real understanding of all sorts of tech. Are there any areas they could improve? There are lots of opportunities ahead of them to grow. At the moment, they’re exploring different areas of the market like AR, which is really cutting-edge.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Spend as much time as you can in advance to map out what you want to build. If you want to de-risk the project and keep your budget tight, it’s important to do the bulk of the prep work yourself. Figure out any nuances and details from the outset. The more you do beforehand to clearly explain your goals, the smoother your overall experience will be.

Seamless project management and an organized workflow produced a deliverable that’s received strongly positive feedback to date. The team offered skilled programming and genuine investment.
"“Kinemeric's (CXR Agency) greatest strength is passion coupled with technical proficiency.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the CEO of my company. We’re creating a mobile app for barbershop management and appointment booking.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We hired CemtrexLabs for mobile app development to support the creation of our new product.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?CemtrexLabs developed our app for both iOS and Android. They based the designs on wireframes we created in-house as well as the preliminary docs we provided them. The products’ key features allow barbershop clients to book appointments. The other part of our system lets shop owners track and manage general store processes and incoming revenue. Ultimately, our app helps independent small business owners run their own companies. With the support of our digital tool, there’s no need for an in-house team to execute additional marketing efforts. What is the team composition? I worked with Lucky (President and Co-founder, CemtrexLabs), the owner of the company. CemtrexLabs also assigned us a project manager for day-to-day tasks. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?I got along really well with Lucky (President and Co-founder, CemtrexLabs). I admired his hustle, and it felt like we had similar DNA. They were the obvious choice when I decided to create my mobile app.How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent $100,000 on CemtrexLabs’ services so far. We’re in a maintenance phase right now as our company’s in-house dev team completes the full-scale app for our final launch. What is the status of this engagement? We worked with CemtrexLabs from August through November of 2017.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?CemtrexLabs designed a seamless UX for our app that makes it effortless for users to maximize our service.  It’s currently in stealth launch mode. The MVP has presently 200 downloads and 30 active users. All of our customers have given us great feedback so far about the UX. We’re excited about the full launch when we start marketing the app in earnest. How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint? We used an online project management tool to communicate and organize tasks. In addition, we stayed in touch with frequent phone calls and emails. CemtrexLabs has fantastic project management skills. What did you find most impressive about them?CemtrexLabs’ greatest strength is passion coupled with technical proficiency. They have an innate ability to fully engage with a client's nascent idea and bring it to life.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Future clients should be aware of potential language barriers. These are to be expected, given the nature of remote work.

**The Review** — Jun 19, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: 20 businesses already use the platform and all of them respond positively to the UI/UX and the quality of the code. Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) manages their time well and is very responsive. They resolve issues quickly and have a well-structured workflow.
"“They build incredible software and fill every blank. They do so much more than other dev shops.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there. We are an online wholesale marketplace for the cannabis industry. I am the founder and CEO.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs?I wanted to build a platform to connect growers and product manufactures to end consumers.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We had a broad vision for a huge two-tiered marketplace with a marketing engine built on top. With their help, we narrowed it down to a wholesale marketplace that we could pitch to investors. They’ve since completed an MVP that is gaining traction and we’re raising capital to build the consumer-facing side of the platform. It's a web-based platform with a referral program that allows each business that uses it to have their own unique URL to track who they share the platform with. We can track user activity and have a lot of capabilities already with the MVP.What is the team composition? Their president is our main point of contact. He serves on our advisory board and helps us track key performance indicators, test key features, select what we should work on next, and find ways to meet investors and raise money. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?I was introduced to them through our corporate attorney. We met several times and got good advice from their president. I considered other development shops but liked how no-nonsense they are. They were inexpensive and never tried to up-sell me on other features or services. They had a grounded approach and convinced us to start slow and grow. They were realistic, had a good attitude, and brought a helpful, third-party perspective. How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent about $130,000 with them so far. What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in September 2017 and launched the MVP in May. We’re currently working together on other features.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We have over 20 businesses that already use the platform and haven’t experienced a single crash. Everyone has positive feedback for the interface, UX, and the quality of the code. I’ve given live demos of it and it always performs flawlessly. How did CemtrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint? They manage their time really well. I can track their tasks and their hours down to 15-minute intervals to see what everyone worked on in a given day. Their project manager oversees the team and responds to us within minutes, even in the middle of the night there. We have daily standup calls each morning with the team in India. If there ever an urgent issue, they get on the phone at any hour to resolve it.What did you find most impressive about them? They go above and beyond to help us. I’m an early-stage startup and am sharing every role within my company with my co-founder. They outline all our product features and break everything down into very specific details. They do all the UI/UX and save me hours of work each week. I don’t need to write spec sheets or wireframes or do any of the QA, they do all of that. They build incredible software and fill every blank. They do so much more than other dev shops. Are there any areas they could improve?Any issues we’ve had with the process stemmed from miscommunication on my side. I can’t fault them for what I did and can’t think of anything negative about their work.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Working with them is the best business decision you can make. Familiarize yourself with company workflow as soon as they introduce you to it. They share a lot of information that will save you time if you orient yourself to their platform.

**The Review** — Jun 18, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) moved quickly to get a stable site up and running. Deploying an agile model, they’re responsive and effectively keep activities on track by centralizing tasks and communication through a customized dashboard. CentrexLabs is quick and cost-effective.
"“Once you get used to the working model, they’re very easy to work with.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the Founder of Crypco, a live-stream media network and consultancy focused on blockchain and the crypto space.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with CemtrexLabs? We needed to create a media network web property. The project includes not just a website but also live-streaming media—which adds complexity and scale—as well as mobile and tablet versions because we believe our audience will be heavily weighted to the mobile environment. We also have to aggregate subscriber data, which is critical to for market research and data and reports for the consultancy side of the business.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We’ve started with the website, which is built on WordPress and launched recently. The platform is evolving and we have a roadmap for the next few months as we expand. We’re incorporating live-stream media. We’ll eventually build mobile and tablet versions for both iOS and Android. We plan to have native apps that incorporate CRM, notifications, and data aggregation that match the web-based media property. In the meantime, the website was built to be mobile friendly. We’re building features that can be leveraged to deliver value back to the business. We’ve integrated HubSpot to aggregate subscriber data as well as custom messaging platforms that are specific to the blockchain community, like Telegram. We’ve included emojis and icons to capture sentiment in real time for the shows we live stream. What is the team composition?I work with a designer and a project manager running things out of India. How did you come to work with CemtrexLabs?I was referred to them by a friend. I built a relationship with them through other projects I consult on that we worked on together. I’d had good experiences and wanted to use them for my own company. How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent about $25,000.What is the status of this engagement? We kicked off in May 2018 and it’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? What's been built has been solid and stable. They developed it quickly to get us up and running fast. How did CentrexLabs perform from a project management standpoint? They use a customized dashboard to manage the project and centralize things. All communication goes through that dashboard. We have calls with web demos to review things visually in real time and talk through any items. They always send an agenda in advance and follow up with notes on next steps that are logged and tracking within their platform. They do a really good job of staying on track of things. They build in an agile model so we can easily make changes and adjustments. It’s very easy to work with them even though they’re global in nature with a team out of India. They work and respond rapidly around the clock. What did you find most impressive about them? For me, it was speed to engagement as well as their agile working model. They're also very cost effective. Are there any areas they could improve?Once you get used to the working model, they’re very easy to work with. With them, everything unfolds in real time versus via a lot of preparation and planning. As a result, my key guidance would be to clarify all the details of the project as much as you possibly can up front to stay within scope. Generally, though, they make sure that it all works out favorably for both sides.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Make sure you know what you want in advance of starting the conversation. You don’t need to have a full spec or a waterfall design or anything like that. You need to be able to work in an agile model but, at the same time, make sure you've thought as deeply as you possibly can in preparation. Once the project is underway and sprints begin, changes can cause delays or other issues. That’s with any agile model, not specific to CemtrexLabs. You can’t expect a lot of discovery or planning in advance so you need to have things thought through upfront in order to stick to the scope and stay on schedule.

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the CEO for Today’s Business, a full-service digital marketing agency.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs? They’ve given us the ability to scale our development. We’ve worked on over 100 projects with them, and they’re a very critical part of the business.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We started working on 5–6 different WordPress websites. They’ve worked on some of our bigger technology partners, backend systems, internal websites, etc.One of the larger projects was building a custom ERP [enterprise resource planning] platform for our internal use. They customized a QuickBase ERP system for us, which I refer to as an extension repository. It’s a database of information that uses different formulas that function together. It keeps a lot of our data about our clients organized and in one place.I’m probably one of their bigger clients on an annualization basis. They are my entire website development team, so they handle all of my projects. I co-manage the projects, and we have an entrepreneur mentality. We collaborate with them on different ideas about business all the time. What is the team composition?I work with Lucky [Cemtrex Labs] and Ash [Cemtrex Labs] directly, and my team works with their team. There are 3–5 people working on our project at any given time. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?A colleague of mine introduced me to Lucky and Ash early on. They were a little further ahead of us in our startup team and developing some big projects. We had the opportunity to grow an unbelievable working relationship.  Their leadership attracted me.How much have you invested with them?We spend $60,000–$100,000 per year. What is the status of this engagement? We started working with them in November of last year.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? They’re one of the most professional groups I’ve ever done business with. They make us much more efficient, and probably save me $250,000 per year. How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? They’ve created an extremely accurate process, including project management, billing, and invoicing. Their service and responsiveness are of the highest quality. We use Teamwork for project management and communication, and we also talk on the phone. What did you find most impressive about them?Their overall structure, way of functioning, and processes are really good. I learned a lot from them. The integration of their project management and how they work on the project management software are impressive. Are there any areas they could improve? No. Everything is great.Do you have any advice for potential customers? They’re extremely intelligent, so try to learn as much as possible from them. Trust the process.

**The Review** — Dec 11, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: The app was completed on-time and has no problems with its functionality. While it was just recently released, it has upwards of 1,500 downloads from the App store. The team maintains efficient and open lines of communication, and has never missed a deadline.
""[T]heir open line of communication is the biggest attribute to who they are.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the founder of Prime58 Fitness app. We acquire the fitness content of professional athletes and release training videos on the platform for people to train like their favorite superstar.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs.I had a rough app pieced together, and was looking for a developer to really bring it to life and improve the functionality and user experience.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?I brought them the rough version of the app; the function wasn’t as smooth or easy going as I would have liked. It was very rugged and his team vetted the app, and cleaned up everything to create a solid end product. The app functions to connect users with their favorite athletes or role models, at a price point of $5 per month. They are able to follow the fitness routine of any athlete on a day to day basis. We’re putting together content that allows users to be able to relate to some of their favorite athletes, and do the same things. It’s built to hold a large capacity of videos, and transitions easily between wireframes. It has a number of built features in terms of communication, photos, sharing, comments, and that sort of thing. Their team brought all that to light. They also did video integration on the user end and additionally, on the content of the athletes. What is the team dynamic? I primarily worked with Lucky [Cemtrex Labs], but also a number of members on his team. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?I found out about them through a mutual friend. I had been previously working with another company that I was unhappy with, and she introduced me to Lucky. We hit it off in terms of the vision of the app and what his company would be able to do to bring my dream to reality. How much have you invested with them?We have invested approximately $30,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in August 2016, and the iOS app launched about a month ago. They haven’t done any work on bringing the app to Android yet, but will be responsible for doing so in the future.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? The app is incredibly solid in terms of functionality. The users absolutely love it. I attribute all of that to Lucky and his team – they made it happen. We have upwards of 1,500 downloads and are continuing to push forward and grow. How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? We used video hangouts as our main method of communication, as well as phone calls and email. We also used a tool called Teamwork for project management to keep the timeline and everything in one place. They’ve done a great job of being open and honest about the work they’re doing. They’re very timely; everything I’ve asked to get done or speak about is returned that day or the next, which I really appreciate. They haven’t missed a single deadline or fallen short of any expectations. He’s really almost exceeded every expectation in terms of the how the app plays out in your hand. I’m super excited about what he’s done with it.What did you find most impressive about them?I found their communication most impressive. With our previous company, that was one of the biggest problems with them. Their ability to communicate and actually execute what they say they’re going to do is great. The most helpful thing I’ve experienced with them is being able to talk and feel out the process with Lucky and his whole team. They’re all working hard to get it done, and that line of communication is the biggest attribute to who they are.Are there any areas they could improve? It’s hard to find something that I would want them to improve on. They’ve been really good to me, and I don’t know if it’s because I came from a disastrous experience beforehand, but there’s nothing I can be upset about.Do you have any advice for potential customers? To take your time, have a couple of conversations with them, and make sure you’re comfortable with the work they’re going to do. Lucky and I spoked for about a month before I let his team work on the app, and they did the first 30–90 days pro bono. He went through and helped me understand the problems going on in the backend, and how he was going to build the app moving forward.

**Feedback Summary**: The Android app fulfilled a primary client's demands while the iOS upgrades improved stability and garnered positive feedback. Skilled planning aligned scope and deliverables with an economical budget, but the final cost was higher than expected. Their flexibility was appreciated and exceeded expectations.
""We’re happy with the work they’ve done.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m executive director at Frisky Radio, which is a music streaming service with on-demand and off-line listening. We have radio streams available via web, iOS and Android.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs?We needed new talent to develop an Android app based on the existing iOS version. We were not happy with the independent iOS developers we used and subsequently required a new vendor.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? They built the Android app from scratch by following the style guide and functional designs that were in place for the iOS version. We provided digital assets; they connected to our backend APIs.Android development was the main project, but we have initiated others too. We’re about to launch a new iOS update with added features, which the App Store just approved. The team also redesigned and re-architected the entire iOS structure to improve stability and reliability. What is the team composition?I served as their project manager. The team was very small. We had 1 developer that doubled as the architect-engineer and 1 QA tester. We ended up with 2 developers when the project transitioned to supporting both the iOS and Android versions. One developer’s decision to leave the company represents the only turnover we’ve experienced. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?I worked with them on another project (when I worked at another company) involving a personalized sports app for Android and iOS. Since I was familiar with their set-up, I recommended them to Frisky. How much have you invested with them?We spent almost $50,000 on the main Android project. What is the status of this engagement?Work started October 2016 and is on-going. The Android soft launch occurred in June 2017 and the hard launch followed in July.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?I gauge success in business by how clients respond to what we deliver. The Android version was extremely successful because it fulfilled a specific demand for one from our clients. The project cost more than we wanted to spend, but we realize that that investment resulted in a highly functional tool. Feedback did not indicate the app was unstable. We tested the new iOS version considerably and expect it to perform well. The iOS team did have a slower learning curve than their Android counterparts, but that reflects the large scope of redesigning the former’s backend. We will look to see how many users engage with the iOS version and their satisfaction with the app.How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? We reviewed our financial constraints prior to development. They were flexible in identifying solutions we could afford that aligned with expectations. The iOS upgrades made the project more expensive than we anticipated but they were necessary given the first iteration’s problems. The flexibility they demonstrated in issue resolutions exceeded expectations. The team had an open-door policy that allowed us to call with requests. They always followed-up with reasonable timeframes for the solutions. What did you find most impressive about them?We placed significant demands on the developers and they responded very well. They were flexible in contouring their process to our expectations. Are there any areas they could improve? They need to vet resources more, as opposed to assigning personnel to a project. We suggested a new process in which we interview their recommendations for team members. While we approached them on this issue, we don’t anticipate it being a problem. We’re happy with the work they’ve done so far.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Overall, be open-minded and flexible. Although they’re headquartered in New York, the development teams are in India. Prepare to adjust schedules to accommodate the time difference. While team members work Eastern Standard Time hours for our convenience, we had to hold calls regularly between 7am and 10am. The overseas resources speak English well, but it may take some time to adapt to different accents.

Great personalities and an invested interest in the products’ success resulted in high customer satisfaction.
"“The app looks fantastic, and Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) has created a smooth-performing experience.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the CTO for a sports platform that provides customization and personalization around sports news, scores, stats, etc. Our comprehensive platform allows users to follow teams, athletes, clubs, and leagues and get specific content based on what they care about across 300 different sports and about 23,000 leagues.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs?We initially needed help to build our mobile presence for iOS and Android through a number of apps. We eventually sought web help, too, so we needed a firm that could build and manage the entire frontend.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? Our company focused on building the backend and APIs, and Cemtrex Labs focused on building the frontend, web experience, and Android and iOS experience. The apps are built in Objective-C for iOS, Java for Android, and Angular for the web. The core components of integration on the backend are Scala, Ruby, a bit of Python, a number of technologies with MySQL, and Elasticsearch. When a user initially opens the app, they don’t have to login but just select their favorite sports, teams, and athletes. That sends them to a page with all the news and videos that are specifically related to the individual and teams that they’re following. Users immediately start getting content based on what you care about, and they can click into a scores and events section to see when a game starts or ends, who won it, etc. The app pulls everything into one place, and users can even select to be notified when there's interesting news related to their preferences. What is the team dynamic? We have a project manager and team leads for Android, iOS, and web. We also have consistent communication with Ash [Cemtrex Labs] and Lucky [Cemtrex Labs]. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?We were referred by a company that had worked with them previously. We talked to a number of developers, and it came down to three. We chose Cemtrex Labs because their team had a good personality and synergy, and we felt they understood how to build what we wanted. How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent about $350,000.What is the status of this engagement? The partnership started in March of last year, and it’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? For most of the products, we’re in the last stages of testing and validation. They’re built in a white label fashion, and clients have been highly pleased with them. The demo of the first app has already been downloaded around the world, including places like China and Africa, and it hasn’t even been marketed or promoted. How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? We use JIRA, and Cemtrex Labs uses a tool we’re not familiar with. That took a little getting used to, but it helps them track things on a much more granular basis, which is nice because they can get precise estimates on how long or how much a certain project or feature will be. The team is responsive, and we have daily scrums with the project manager and the lead developers from each team (iOS, Android, and web). After the initial onboarding, they integrated well with our team.We had some difficulty at the beginning of our partnership in developing an efficient working rhythm, but our teams figured it out within a month or so. They had to learn quite a bit of domain knowledge about sports and the complex relationships between entities, teams, clubs, etc. What did you find most impressive about them? Most everything has been good. The communication is great, they’re responsive, and Ash and Lucky are both highly involved and invested in our project. The app looks fantastic, and Cemtrex Labs has created a smooth-performing experience. Are there any areas they could improve?Their mobile team is great, however the web team initially lagged behind a bit. That may have been because of the technology we asked them to use. Cemtrex Labs proactively reorganized the web team and they caught up with the mobile team pretty quickly.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Documentation is key. Make sure you know what you're building, especially if you’re integrating Cemtrex Labs with your own team.  Have a clear direction and communicate what you want. Be ready to give details because they'll ask for it.

**The Review** — Aug 28, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: The site works seamlessly, bringing the company’s vision to life. Great project management and smooth communication marked the relationship, but their ability to bring a project to life while tackling all the aesthetic, strategic, and functional requirements is what’s most impressive about them.
""Their developers and designers are adept at solving problems while being very timely and meticulous.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I am the director of LENS, which is a new division under IMG Fashion within the universe of WME IMG, a globally recognized brand and media agency. Essentially, LENS is a division of representation and we represent image makers—photographers, filmmakers, and creative directors. We aim to represent them editorially and commercially like a traditional agency would while plugging them into the world of WME IMG.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Cemtrex Labs helped me set up a digital presence, building out the website for the division and helping to strategize the UX around our specific needs as a growing business. They designed and built out the site thinking about where we could see ourselves five years later, which is instrumental as a startup. They also created a custom built content management system.Because our agency is very visually focused, it was important that the images of our artists' work were front and center and that there were elegant designs and functionalities, for instance, animations that would emphasize but not over overpower or diminish the work of the artists. The way the images are displayed was beautifully done and the site operates seamlessly. Some of our artists are multi-disciplinary, so there were templates built to speak to their unique needs. You can navigate through the entirety of one project that an artist has and get the full effect of it in a way that feels continuous and in line with the rest of their work. The navigation of the imagery within each artist on a project-to-project basis was really powerful and effective for us.What is the team dynamic?I worked with Ash [Gobindram, CEO] quite a bit and with Lucky [Gobindram, Co-Founder], and their development team, so I was in constant communication with everyone throughout the process. They would guide the conversation but the development team was incredible with how they worked and what they were able to turn around. It was very impressive. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?I think it was an introduction. I had an initial conversation with them and it was very apparent that they were an agency that could straddle both the strategy and aesthetics. They designed and developed in accordance with those two things and with an eye to who our audience was and how they would want to navigate the site and consume the content we were putting out. What is the status of this engagement?I had worked with them in mid-2015 at a fashion magazine where they helped develop and refine the publication's website, but we started working with them on this project in December 2016.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? It was extremely powerful for us to launch the site because it gave a vision to this endeavor in a whole new way. It's not really quantifiable in metrics, but it's been invaluable.Just having someone staying on the site and navigating through multiple pages, multiple artists, and multiple images is a powerful metric for us. It has been pretty incredible and it definitely exceeded my expectations. How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint?Their project management throughout the entirety of the process was always extremely airtight, which is important when you embark with a partner in this kind of capacity. It's a healthy mix of self-direction and collaboration. They’re also very fluid with their communication, so I always have a clear idea of what items are being worked on and for how long.Naturally, issues come up and the project evolves as you address them. They're not only able to help us address those things but they're also very collaborative in their approach so we can come up with different problem-solving strategies. That process adds to the betterment of the project and the website. It goes above and beyond just project management— it's really a partnership in that way. What did you find most impressive about them?Their ability to take the seed of an idea or the direction of a project and realize it in a way that checks all the boxes aesthetically, strategically, and functionally is quite powerful. They work they deliver consistently exceeds my expectations, which is pretty exceptional.Their developers and designers are adept at solving problems while being very timely and meticulous in a way that is rare within the product development ecosystem. Are there any areas they could improve? No. I want to work with them more.

**The Review** — Dec 16, 2016

**Feedback Summary**: Highlights include the owners' contributions to the design of the project as well as the quality of coding. Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) has increased insight into their billable time as the partnership matured to the client's delight.
""They are excellent in managing expectations and keeping within project deadlines.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the chief executive officer [CEO] and founder of PaidEasy. My company is a mobile payments app. We work with restaurants and bars to facilitate discovery for consumers, allowing them to figure out where they want to go and find discounts at local restaurants and bars. Our direct point-of-sale integration allows the consumer to view, split, tip, and pay their bills without having to wait for a check.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs?I was looking for a development shop when working up initial wireframes for PaidEasy. The cost of building in-house when you’re not a technical founder is prohibitive. Cemtrex Labs worked with me in developing the initial minimum viable product [MVP], figuring out our go-to-market strategy and who to target.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? It started as an iOS app and mainly focused around plugging in a lot of different APIs. In the beginning, we were working with point-of-sale companies directly, so it was them working on server integrations and backend API integrations. They then did everything else from design to development of the app. There is not yet an Android app as we are in the process of raising our seed. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs? When I started working on PaidEasy, I put a post on my Facebook looking to hire a development shop and I interviewed a couple of them. A friend of a friend, who was a sales rep for Cemtrex Labs, reached out and set up a meeting with Lucky Gobindram, who is the president, and Ashwin, the CEO. I discussed my vision and idea. From the get-go, they were not your typical development shop where they were just yes-men and said, “We will build it. Here’s the cost.”How much have you invested with Cemtrex Labs?We have invested between $100,000 and $200,000.What is the status of this engagement? We’ve been working together since April 2014. They sit on my board.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?I think the value that they added to PaidEasy was not only transactional. Lucky has made introductions, including venture capital firms, to some of our venues that we work with. They add value way beyond the scope of the work that we have done together, which makes sense in terms of a product standpoint as well as for the future vision. Lucky is an extremely smart guy and knows the space that we are in. He definitely knows players in the space and venture capital firms, so it made sense to have them as a part of the company. It was not like “Develop the app and I will give you a board seat arrangement" since I still paid for all of the work. The value that they were able to bring to the table dictated that.I cannot disclose our consumer usage for the iOS app, but I can tell you that venues love our app. We went from working with 15 venues to now having 500 restaurant partnerships across New York, Miami, and DC.How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? We used Trello for project management. I am the type of person where I like immediate responses. There has never been a time, whether it is two in the morning or three in the afternoon, where I have not been able to speak with someone. They work with a lot of teams offshore, and they also have Lucky and Ash based in New York. They are overly communicative, meaning there is always someone you can speak with.Expectations were set from the beginning in terms of how long will it take and when we will launch. Obviously, things come up in development when we are working on something that no one has done before, which is a lot of point-of-sale integrations, but they were always managing expectations and kept me up-to-date.What did you find most impressive about Cemtrex Labs? They do not operate as a typical development shop. For someone like myself who is not technical, but mainly sales and business oriented, it is a breath of fresh air from a development shop where you can call them, tell them an idea, and they build it. It is helpful for someone who is not technical to hear “that is not possible and this is why”, or “this is possible and this is what it will take”, not in technical terms but in a way that I understand what we are able to do.Are there any areas Cemtrex Labs could improve?Towards the end of our project, they were more upfront on how they do things in terms of hours. In the beginning, it was all project-based, but then we switched to an hourly base where you can see a breakdown of how many hours this task took. I wish we did that from the beginning. Not to say it was bad in the beginning, it was extremely helpful for me as I progress with the company knowing that X change will take X amount of hours instead of relating it to a direct cost.

""Everything they’ve done has been aesthetically and functionally awesome.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there. We provide a Platform as a Service [PaaS] for special collections, universities, and archives that allows them to create a website. The backend stores all the data bibliographically. It’s made with library scientists in mind.I’m the co-founder of the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs? This was a partnership with Boo-Hooray, a company that deals with post-WWII archives. There are many special collections that are donated to universities that don’t get much exposure. If you go to the university, you need a reference number to get the book and you have to be very careful with the collections. We wanted to create an online, searchable public-facing archive for all of these materials.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We had the archival know-how but I needed them to implement the entire project. They used PHP for the backend, but I’m not sure what the front-end is.How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?I was introduced to them by a mutual friend and had worked with them on previous projects. How much have you invested with Cemtrex Labs? The project cost $100,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started working with them 4 years ago. The archival project started in January 2015. We continue to work with Cemtrex Labs on other projects.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?Everything they’ve done has been aesthetically and functionally awesome. How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? They’re very available and great at communication. What did you find most impressive about Cemtrex Labs? They were able to adhere very closely to the original vision of the project despite all the iterations in between. They’ve been great at translating our desires into something tangible. Are there any areas Cemtrex Labs could improve?I feel they use too many formalities and acronyms in order to note change orders. Also, when you have a large project, there are going to be things that you don’t anticipate. Maybe it would be wise for them to spend more time on the initial mapping out of the project.

""I trust them and would have them help on projects in the future.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there. The app is a hotel management system that integrates POS, reservation systems, and contact management software. We want to grow the app into a white label software that we can bring to the market to create solutions for bed and breakfasts, boutique hotels, and hostels throughout the world.I am the co-founder of Maderas Village.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs?We needed someone to build a version of the app so that we had something to test before we built the final version.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We gave Cemtrex Labs our ideas and wireframes, and they ran with it. They were able to interpret what we wanted into a system that works. They put us in touch with a good UI [user interface] team to bring to the project. They were great producers from start to finish. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?I was referred to them by some friends who had done business with them. We sat down with Cemtrex Labs, and because of the quote they gave us and the general confidence we felt working with them, it seemed like the right decision. How much have you invested with Cemtrex Labs? This is confidential. What is the status of this engagement? We started working together 2 years ago and they finished the project a year ago. We’ve been testing the product at the hotel for a year and we’ve been gathering feedback. Now, we’re rebuilding it with in-house developers and launching the company in a new direction.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement? We haven’t launched it commercially. They were committed to staying on the project through all the iterations. They sent a team to be with us for 10 days to make sure everything was working right. When issues came up, they were there to see for themselves and were able to send those problems back to India. By the next morning, everything would be fixed and ready to test again. How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? With app building, there are a lot of challenges that come up, but anytime we had a challenge, they were committed to completing the project. They were working late hours to stay on target with the schedule. I trust them and would have them help on projects in the future. What did you find most impressive about Cemtrex Labs?Everything they said they would do, they did, and they did it for a price we couldn’t find in other places. I was very happy working with them.

**The Review** — Nov 7, 2016

**Feedback Summary**: Areas of strong performance include project turnaround times and the pure quality of the development work, especially given the affordability of each project. They've never disappointed the client.
""They’ve taken really great technical talent in India and made it viable for clients all over the world.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.Nex.tt accepts applications from all over the world, specifically ideas for businesses. Our value proposition is that we help you test a business idea before you decide to leave your job or try to raise money. When we test them, we design and launch experiments that are like prototypes. These could mean very simple mobile applications, very simple web applications, and so on.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs?We were looking for someone to do all our development, including our site and our pre-accelerator for ideas.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? Cemtrex Labs built all of our own technology and our website. Together, we’ve built a couple follow-on products that are a directory of ideas. Now, we have a platform similar to crowdfunding that allows people to turn their idea into an experiment and then open it up to a community. People contribute to that and then they bring their own communities that want to help them with their project and who want to fund them. Aside from developing our website, Cemtrex Labs helped us with numerous projects that we’ve accepted into the accelerator. They built some of our prototypes; it’s not white labeled at all. They’re our agency and residents for that purpose. We pay Cemtrex Labs and they’re part of the value proposition that we bring to the projects that we work on.  The first thing I built with them was an app for my wedding. Instead of having table seating cards, we built an app where people could ask for their place at the reception. They could text their name to a phone number and that phone number would return their table number in a nice message. We used Trello API and built a basic SMS app with them that way.I also worked with them on a LinkedIn 2.0 web app that was mobile-optimized and desktop-optimized. The app, called Haiku, would help people celebrate their successes at work. It had a lot of CSS on the front-end, Rev. We used Symphony to build it in a quick timeframe, as I always try to build MVPs. That one took a little bit longer, about 3 months, to get up and running. We did another 2 months of iterations on it. They also used PHP and Symphony with a MySQL database. There was also a ton of JavaScript.Next, we built an iOS app with them that helps people thank others like coworkers or friends. If someone helps you with a project you’re working on, if they inspire you, if they do something nice, it’s a standard way to thank them. We used a Giphy API there, so it’s short message, plus the GIFs they could publicly share. We tapped into Twitter and Facebook APIs.How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?We have a lot of friends in common and Cemtrex Labs came highly recommended. We grew up in the same area. How much have you invested with Cemtrex Labs?We have paid $100,000 to $125,000 for their services. What is the status of this engagement? We started in 2013 but started working a lot from 2015 on. We’re still working with them now.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement? We’ve always got amazing design feedback on anything we’ve built with Cemtrex Labs. The best metric for us is that 3 months is the longest time that it’s taken to get something launched and public with Cemtrex Labs. That’s the amount of time, from start to finish, that it takes them to produce an MVP that’s launchable. They’ve been able to do that 5 times while producing high-quality products. Plus, Cemtrex Labs gets great reviews and public validation. For example, the first project they did was that simple wedding texting app. They completed it in 12 hours and knocked it out of the park. From them on, they’ve been the only agency I’ve ever worked with. For one website, Cemtrex Labs had to deal with a lot of animation. They did a lot of custom SVGs for the animated components on the site as well as a lot of JavaScript. It was really top-notch design and we’ve gotten some shout-outs on design sites about it. That is available on Nex.tt. Another product they helped build was literally an idea on the back of a napkin. Less than 8 weeks later, it was getting funding for $750,000 and was accepted by 500 Startups. It’s maturing from a venture capital perspective. How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? We’re in close contact with project managers, executives, and the core development teams that we work with. We work with project managers but Cemtrex Labs has been really good about letting us speak with developers directly just because I have a lot of background building software. They use company workflow, Slack, email, and Trello. They’ve been great. What did you find most impressive about Cemtrex Labs?I think they’ve taken really great technical talent in India and made it viable for clients all over the world. A lot of times, you have really technically talented people but they are located remotely or are not native English speakers. While that usually worked for a small client profile, Cemtrex Labs made it work for almost anyone. You get the benefit of great customer service, great technical expertise, bandwidth, and chops for an affordable rate. You can get quality products built in a timely fashion for a price that doesn’t presume that it’s going to be the most successful product in the world. You can afford to be wrong with your idea because their execution is going to be sharp. They’re not going to waste time and money and it’ll be really high quality. At the same time, you can afford to change your idea and not be perfectly right, right off the bat. I think that’s required for any software. Are there any areas Cemtrex Labs could improve?I don’t think so. I feel like I’ve always had really great experiences with Cemtrex Labs so I don’t personally see anything to improve myself.

**The Review** — Nov 2, 2016

**Feedback Summary**: Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) has differentiated themselves in several facets including code quality, communication style, and affordability. The client was impressed that even their artistic design services were exceptionally good.
""Quality was more important for us than price. When you’re able to get both [from Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency)], that makes a big difference.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the CEO of an industrial manufacturing solutions company. We’re a diversified industrial technology firm. We provide heavy industrial products and services as well as electronic manufacturing services for medical device manufacturers and automotive companies.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs?We needed different types of software written for our website. We also needed help with mobile application development.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We worked with Cemtrex Labs on iOS, Android, and web-based solutions. One of the mobile applications they designed was for one of our clients. It was an iOS/Android application for booking services at various venues—restaurants and nightlife establishments. It was unrelated to our business but it was an important project for our customer. The scope of that project was to build a comprehensive mobile application and backend portal content management system. Cemtrex Labs managed the front-end and back-end of these native apps. We used Amazon Web Services on the project. They did a lot of iterative development based on evolving requirements. Cemtrex Labs did a good job of adjusting to our needs and changing the product. Plus, they were able to produce the data to justify certain changes within the application. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?Cemtrex Labs was referred to us. We had shopped around for firms and they seemed the most intelligent. They had the most direct planning process—the potential requirements from our side, from their side, timelines, all of that. I thought they were the most comprehensive and displayed the most competency out of the gate. How much have you invested with Cemtrex Labs?We invested more than $250,000 into the project. What is the status of this engagement? We’ve worked with them on and off over the last several years. Some of the projects started in 2010 and we don’t have any active projects with them. For this particular project, we were able to work iteratively over 2 ½ years to develop and improve the app. We would certainly reach out to them again if the need ever arose.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement? Our client is very happy with the application itself and the timely delivery. We’ve worked with other web developers who weren’t able to build a robust application from an iOS point of view or a website standpoint. They’ve been consistent with our other projects, which I think is really important. They’re extremely competitive from a price point of view. It’s a huge differentiator for us that they are able to deliver high quality at an affordable rate. Quality was more important for us than price. When you’re able to get both, that makes a big difference. That’s why we’ve consistently chosen them. How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? The project management was like an approval process. We worked with a project manager. I forget the name of the software we used, but every week they would have us review certain materials. We would log into the system to check everything. We had to make sure that everything was accepted or not accepted, and then add why. During our weekly calls, we would go over and review progress. It was full service and we had a lot of communication. That is important, especially in a development project. Every week, we knew milestones are getting done and that rolls up to a larger deadline internally for us. We had to get the iOS app ready by this date. Each set of deliverables is being done and we have an idea of where we are in the timeline and if we’re meeting the deadline. They maintained lines of communication and provided the documentation necessary to make decisions. We didn’t feel like we were waiting for them to get us information. They were timely in saying, “This is what we expect.” If they said they were going to have things ready by Tuesday, they were ready by Tuesday. Then it was on us to meet our own timelines so we could move forward to the next step. What did you find most impressive about Cemtrex Labs?I was impressed by how Cemtrex Labs listened to customers. Plus, they did not over-promise and under-deliver. They brought realistic expectations to the table about what is possible within a certain timeframe. That’s important because a lot of developers will say, “That’s possible.” And then 6 weeks into the project you have cost overruns and the development work isn’t nearly as far along as it should be. There’s a lot of confusion and poor communication because you’re dealing with developers. They have the right organizational structure with the artistic and development talent along with people good at project management. They have a lot of creative talent. We asked for 2 or 3 artistic designs and they really put their heart into that. They were also willing to hear our feedback and ultimately deliver on our vision. That’s unique. Some developers are just good at coding but they have this artistic element to their studio which sets them apart. Are there any areas Cemtrex Labs could improve? Not really. So far, we’ve been really satisfied.

#### Video Platform Frontend Design and Infrastructure Overhaul
**The Project**
- Services: Custom Software Development
- Project size: $10,000 to $49,999
- Project length: Nov. 2015 - Mar. 2016

**Project Summary**: Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) helped a non-technical co-founder transform a proof of concept video platform into a scalable media delivery and social destination.

**Review Rating**: 4.0
- Quality: 3.5
- Schedule: 3.5
- Cost: 5.0
- Willing to Refer: 4.5

**The Reviewer**
Founder, Video Curation Site
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Oct 28, 2016

**Feedback Summary**: Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) was patient in how they explored problems collaboratively and helped the client to understand the technical aspects of his own requirements. The one drawback in his view was an overly optimistic perspective on project timelines.
""I just thought that they seemed to really want to work with us.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there. Our company is a video platform where people can watch videos and chat in real-time. There is a mobile version as well, but it’s not exactly the same. I’m the chief executive officer.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs? They helped me take my product from an MVP [minimum viable product] to a beta.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We had a framework that was usable for demos and to raise money, and we were in the phase where we needed to take that to a more scalable solution where we could actually have a ton of people on the site, and just mature from being a demo and open it to the public. We did a lot of database stuff and put ourselves on AWS [Amazon Web Services]. I actually don’t even remember the specifics anymore; it was mostly everything that we needed to do to move into a public product. We wanted to use ReactJS, which is a JavaScript framework. They were able to accommodate us.How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs? They were a referral from a friend of mine. One of the biggest things was that their rates were a lot lower than many of the other people that I looked at, and I just thought that they seemed to really want to work with us. It wasn’t an official client type of a relationship. It was more like a friendship, which was really nice. How much have you invested with Cemtrex Labs?I would say we have invested in the $10,000 and $50,000 range. What is the status of this engagement? We began working together in November 2015 till March 2016.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement? Not really, to be completely honest. How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint?I thought that they had a really strong project management team and a lot of good structure. I think we moved from weekly calls to daily calls, and everyone was always there. Everybody used Trello, I believe, to help manage the process. Overall, it was a good experience. I was working with a project manager and the developers on our daily calls. Everyone was present for calls, but most of the communication was happening through the project manager. What did you find most impressive about Cemtrex Labs?I really think that they are really patient. That was good because I am non-technical. They were just patient with me as a person who’s non-technical, and they were able to actually accommodate my incompetence in that area, definitely. Are there any areas Cemtrex Labs could improve?I think sometimes they would potentially over-promise and under deliver on timelines. We missed a couple of deadlines and there were a couple of holes that we needed to plug and work that we needed to go back and do. I think it wasn’t intentional. I think they were just optimistic about how fast they could do some of the work.

#### iOS Development for Bar Socializing App
**The Project**
- Services: Mobile App Development
- Project size: $50,000 to $199,999
- Project length: Jan. 2015 - Ongoing

**Project Summary**: Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) coded an iOS app and guided the concept's brand identity efforts based on the vision from two non-technical cofounders.

Co-founder, BOTY App
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Oct 26, 2016

**Feedback Summary**: The client derived a lot of value from the industry knowledge and extra effort that Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) contributed to the direction of the concept. Because of the less-defined scope and the change orders that resulted, development ran longer than expected.
""You feel their integrity in terms of how they communicate and how they do things.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there. The name of the company is BOTY App. We’re a mobile application that connects people at the bar. I am the founder.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs?We had a concept and we needed Cemtrex Labs to pretty much help us bring the concept to life. That included creative direction and app development.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Currently, we’re just on iOS. They provided the front-end design and app development. We’ll likely start the Android development using Cemtrex Labs next year. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?We were at a Next Web conference - me and my business partner. We owned a business for ten years together and we were trying to figure out and get introductions for tech. So we went to the Next Web conference in New York. One of the Cemtrex Labs representatives was working with a booth with one of their clients. We had a conversation and that’s how it started out.How much have you invested with Cemtrex Labs?Probably about $100,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started in January of 2016.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement? We were definitely satisfied with the final product and we’re still working through a couple of kinks here and there. The project passed our expectations, and what we like about them is that, with us being new to this space, they were the leaders in terms of making suggestions and providing us with insight on things that we knew we needed to know. In some instances, they even provided insights about things of which we weren’t aware. We moved forward with them being the developer of the concept but they also turned out to be a little bit more in terms of providing insight on things that we were not aware of.I don’t have a lot to go on, but if it was a different relationship, it may have been an additional charge and they just did it.How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? We used Trello starting out. That was keeping us up to date from the initial phase to the actual development. We used the Trello board for the majority of communications. They use a different system now, which I’m not too familiar with. They provided us with initial research of what we were trying to do. It was going great. We had a project manager that kept us in the loop. We’d do weekly calls to keep us abreast of what was being done. If we needed information changes, they were very timely in getting us change orders. The communication has been really effective. Looking forward, we use Google Hangouts so we can chat about any issues that we face, so the communication’s been pretty good. What did you find most impressive about Cemtrex Labs? They’re good people. They’re honest. You feel their integrity in terms of how they communicate and how they do things. They’re very resourceful in terms of contact with others to help you get going with other experts. Are there any areas Cemtrex Labs could improve?I would say it’s more about things our internal team could have done differently. There are certain things that we didn’t know starting out that maybe we could’ve learned a little bit about first, being non-technical founders. From their perspective, no. I would say there’s certain individuals that communicate a lot more effectively than others, but I don’t think there’s anything they could do differently. I don’t have too many complaints.

Founder, Investment Fund
- Industry: Financial services

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Oct 26, 2016

**Feedback Summary**: Kinemeric (formerly CXR Agency) was cheap relative to their high-quality output, especially considering the value they created by taking the time to understand the client's intent instead of just following directions.
""They also put a lot of personal thought into everything they do. They don’t just take marching orders.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.Blackbrick is a fund that invests in struggling startups. We’re an activist fund like a foundry almost. We give money and then take an active role in fixing companies and try to turn them around and help them raise money for higher valuations, and then we cash out. So, we’re essentially an investment fund - a startup accelerator. I am Founder, and I’m in charge of marketing.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Cemtrex Labs?Cemtrex Labs was tasked with setting up all our branding.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? They helped us come up with a name. They helped us come up with a logo after many iterations. They put together our investment deck, including copy, that we would pitch to investors to put money into the fund. They assembled our logo, our branding, storytelling, the pitch deck – essentially they built our identity from the ground up. They’re still working on it, but the initial stages are completed. Eventually, they’re going to do our website and everything else as well. How did you come to work with Cemtrex Labs?Their reputation preceded them. They are well-known in the startup space. They were introduced to me through a mutual business associate. They also are connected to a project called Fueled which we’ve worked with in the past. Lucky [Gobindram, CEO] and I met. We chatted. We talked about a lot of different things, and then about six months later I realized I needed this work and who better to work with than Lucky. Their reputation was good, but their proposal was extremely good. It was broken down into a lot of detail. It was very transparent. It explained exactly what I was paying for, where, and how. It was reasonably priced, too. I liked their work. I liked the way they spoke. I liked the way they thought about things. They thought through problems, but they also had a very good proposal system that was very clear and I could understand. We spoke to them about many different things, and they contributed with a lot of ideas. It was more of a thought exercise than anything else. How much have you invested with Cemtrex Labs? They charged us based on deliverables. I think it’s less than five figures. It’s like between $3,000 and $8,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started three or four months ago.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement? Not really. A lot of people have given us a lot of compliments on what we have so far. I can’t directly attribute it and say, “They made us a new logo and that logo brought us new business.” I can’t say that for sure, but I can say that everybody loves it and we get a lot of compliments on it.How did Cemtrex Labs perform from a project management standpoint? They had a presentation tool for the deck itself. We mostly emailed. They were very quick with responses. There was a quick delivery turnaround. If I gave them criticism or asked them to change things, they’d come back within 24 to 48 hours with something new. What did you find most impressive about Cemtrex Labs?I think it’s the personal touch. The founders themselves get involved in the projects often. I also think it’s their flexibility. Other agencies might limit you - you get one or two revisions. Cemtrex doesn’t care. They also put a lot of personal thought into everything they do. They don’t just take marching orders. They present you with a lot of ideas. That’s rare with agencies. Some are better than others in that realm where an agency will say, “Just tell me what you want, and I’ll design it.” They’re more like, “Have you considered doing it this way?” Cemtrex Labs does stuff like that which is great. Are there any areas Cemtrex Labs could improve?Maybe they could have better tools to present their work rather than just email. The work we did was so simple that I don’t have complaints but if it had been a [larger] project, maybe I would.

Using Artec 3D scanners, Kinemeric team was able to quickly create detailed 3D models – removing 70% of the process required for traditional 3D modeling from scratch.
The Vilcek Foundation received 3D models of Native American pots with a textured finish, specifically designed for online viewing and utilization in AR/VR technology.

### Modelo
Modelo wanted to showcase apparel they created in partnership with RSVP Gallery, an upscale clothing brand based in Chicago, and encourage users to enter their sweepstakes.
Kinemeric developed a cutting-edge campaign that included age validation, an in-browser AR experience featuring custom 3D models, and a sweepstakes entry form.
Serving as an endcap in stores, the Kinemeric team devised a smooth process for driving customers online. In-store users could access the experience by scanning a QR code, taking them to the age validation portal, and then on to the actual platform. While in-browser AR may be new on the web scene, the team made sure the whole journey was exciting but straightforward.
After storyboarding the entire experience, the team at Kinemeric developed a webAR experience that launches instantly. “Placed” on a surface in front of the user, a holographic slider cycles through the various pieces in collection, from shorts to hoodies to bags. The user can go back and forth and see full, rotating views of each item.
The experience was a hit with users, fueling new excitement for the merchandise collaboration and convincing thousands to enter the sweepstakes.

### Pacifico and X Games
Pacifico approached Kinemeric to create innovative experiences to promote their sweepstakes with X Games. Keen to do something different and experiment with Augmented Reality, they trusted the team to explore the possibilities and take the lead on concept development.
Featuring a cooler that materializes out of thin air and spins around, this amusing Web AR experience is quick fun, as the cooler pops open and expels a show of sparkling ice cubes that fog up the user’s screen. Wiping the screen clears away the layer of frost, bringing the journey to its main call to action: signing up for the sweepstakes.
The experience was a hit with the client and with audiences, garnering thousands of entries to the sweepstakes and adding Pacifico to the ranks of brands embracing AR marketing.

### HBO Max
In May 2020, HBO launched their subscription streaming service, HBO Max, featuring its classic programming, as well as exclusive original content. Amassing over 28 million subscribers by September 2020, the media titan released its first movie exclusive to the platform, Charm City Kings (featuring rapper Meek Mill), in October of the same year. With their in-house team fully preoccupied and time running out, HBO Max/19th and Park challenged the team at Kinemeric to rapidly develop a creative social media campaign for the movie.
Kinemeric delivered 20 static and dynamic social media assets, an AR face filter for Instagram/Facebook, a name generator, and a portal for a writing contest. The campaign combined the best of traditional digital marketing campaigns with the excitement of newer technology to reach a wider audience and sustain interest for as long as possible.
Since going live, the campaign has continually driven engagement across platforms, and even engaged a few high-profile stakeholders, including Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Meek Mill.

### GovBall AR Face Filters
Live Nation approached the team for help with the AR integration in their Governor’s Ball app, which needed to be fully functioning in three days. We had just those three days to bring their app to life by creating a series of AR and user-friendly 3D models from scratch.
Kinemeric took the Live Nation team’s 3D models, created by a third party, and recreated them for improved visuals and better integration capabilities into the app itself.
The 3D models were created, mapped seamlessly to users’ faces, and Live Nation had a working application on time for their event. Thousands of people at Gov Ball used the application successfully, including Post Malone – the headliner of the event.

### National Dialogue
An augmented reality masterpiece
Kinemeric's goal was to create an AR experience that celebrated collective exhibition art and culture while simultaneously provoked empathy and conversation.
The Kinemeric team created an interactive canvas that combined geolocation features of AR technology with fun live messages and social sharing. This enabled users to be able to leave messages all over the exhibit walls while also being able to make text bubbles come alive to reveal curated quotes.
