We had some theories on how to treat social media data by linking additional info about the poster and conversation to create a new LLM that would give text classification. Deliverables were documentation, finished LLM and steps to update it.

Each week we got a project summary for the week, overall progress, any outstanding issues and next week’s deliverables. With this we were able to stay on project and budget throughout the whole project. At the end of the project they delivered all the code, documentation and processes.

Kanerika’s main deliverable was an analytics dashboard on Microsoft Power BI. They also coded some parts of the platform in .NET and other Microsoft-centric languages.

We’re still finalizing the project but it’s only the first phase of what we want to do. So we’re having internal discussions about extending our partnership with Kanerika. If that happens, their scope of work will be all the projects we will do going forward.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our team’s main KPI is adoption. Given that, we measure success by seeing if our marketing and brokerage teams are using the product. At least 50% of our user base should be using the dashboard, that means the product is valuable to them and we’re already at 75%. In other words, we’ve already hit our adoption goal.

Apart from that, we have 74 offices globally and most of them have given us interesting comments about the product. One of them even called it a game-changer.

Kanerika’s project management is good. They don’t just do tasks, they over-deliver multiple times. We don’t use any project management tools. We use more structured notes and follow up closely. We put tasks in our SharePoint and Teams files. Then our teams follow up on these tasks in our recurring meetings and calls. We also use other Microsoft 360 tools when sharing documents, status updates and goals in our Zoom meetings.

Kanerika is creative and technically sound. They've found flaws in our data and fixed them, which means they’re very proactive. In the end the product is great which is what we want to be the base of everything we do.

Also the level of attention Kanerika provides is amazing. Their team does their homework. They dig deep and inspect everything about the product to make sure it’s long lasting.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Kanerika could have done differently?

We didn’t do enough on the training part of the project. Our teams are helping other teams to learn the product. For that, we’ve tried doing a set of training videos. Based on this experience, we’ve noticed that Kanerika’s training competency can still improve.

Kanerika carried out the automation of the process that was necessary for the extraction of information from several operational systems. After which the data was integrated into our database so as to complete and streamline the reporting process.

In the beginning of the inception of the project, we had already formulated two stages with their variations. However, we added the third one later on. They produced the first version of the device, then progressed to its second iteration after which we received some last comments and amendments.

In the end they sent us the final version of the produced document. Currently, we are trying to agree with Kanerika on the terms of our future work.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The product Kanerika assembled is operational. Our core value or measurement of success in this regard is functionality and usability and the product is performing at the level that we had anticipated.

The project manager specific handles project communication, bi-weekly project progression status and alive expectation management. They do not hesitate to keep me informed about their activities and rest.

With respect to time control, the time taken for the project was slightly high than planned. We had estimated nine months to complete it and we used one and a half years. Anyway, it owes me a little remorse – it is not completely Kanerika’s fault as it was that, we included a few extras in the middle of the project and then an additional step of development.

I get it; they have a small team with few resources including one of them who left in the mid of the project, so such issues do crop up. The communication includes exchange via Telegram which is okay considering that there is a lot of good communication on their side. They had some integrations with the platform such that whenever there is an update a bot sends status reports.

Overall, I am highly impressed with Kanerika's approach to managing the healthcare sector. What I noticed most was that, industry knowhow of this nature meant that I did not have to explain to the coders the mechanics of profit calculation; a business analyst handled it. While describing the domain oftentimes is a headache, it was effortless in Kanerika.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Kanerika could have done differently?

They were lacking on the utilization of the available resources efficiently and timely completion of the turnover of the project. The timeline got extended quite a bit, and though I understand some of it was our own doing, I felt they did not show Any urgency to try and complete everything to the original timeline.

We use the internal portals they made for our dealer and customer bases to improve those two solutions they developed for us as we grow. In terms of procedure, we begin with a meeting where we clearly define our goals, be they improvements to existing solutions or a new one. We communicate back and forth to arrange things, and we look to them for guidance and insight, as well as what they've observed and what they believe is the best course of action for us. 
Following that, they provided us with an excellent statement of work and scheduled a kickoff meeting to begin the task; since we had been acquainted for so long, everything was routine. The Kanerika team is proficient in all Microsoft tools and has created two HTML website portals. They also oversee several SSIS packages, HTML customisation, and our SQL system databases. They're also excellent web designers; they used SharePoint to create our internal portal site. We intend to work with them going forward on projects like Automate and Power BI.

Our partnership has become stronger, and we really like the dealer portal they made. Additionally, we've gotten positive comments from our dealer base regarding how simple it is to use the platform, which has resulted in success. We're seeing an increase in the number of users accessing our portal, a rise in customers self-service, and overall business growth.

CRM, Email marketing, Helpdesk, Billing, Analytics and figuring out where the data overlaps and where it’s broken. they built a central data pipeline that pulls info from all of them into one clean warehouse. they set up data governance rules so bad or duplicate data gets flagged before it messes things up. Then they created a dashboard that shows real-time numbers for sales, churn risk, and lead scoring. they also built AI models that predict which customers might leave and which leads are most likely to convert. they didn’t just hand it over, they trained my team so we can run and tweak it ourselves without calling them every time.
