JumpGrowth set out to augment our team to stage us for growth.  We had a slow server that need to be migrated to another provider.  We also needed to develop some internal applications and send data between servers via APIs.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team meets with us regularly for updates. Aksita, the team lead communicates with our team members via email and Slack and keeps us informed. Surprises are avoided as well. We can also see the progress directly on the applications they develop. The testing appears to be thorough as well as there are few redo's if any.
The biggest struggle is time to market and theu are okay with pushing the envelope there and forging ahead when we need to compress time to market.

JumpGrowth understands the importance of managing expectations, timing, budget, and having the right people in the right seat.  The project needs have grown as our trust in their team and approach has grown.  They do what they say they will do.  I'm sure that a lot of that is due to the PM we were assigned; she has been great!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have been very happy with the depth of the JumpGrowth bench.  When we needed a ML expert, they pulled one in.  When we needed a UI expert, they had that on staff.  When testing became critical to meet a deadline, they had that available.  In short, they have been a really good addition to our team.  The best part is that they can pull on one resource or another while managing the budget as well.

Are there any areas for improvement or something JumpGrowth could have done differently?

The projects are on time and with one exception, on budget.  There was one slight wobble that was corrected a month or so ago and it was quickly and professionally managed.

I think the one value I went for them was the background of the company, they know how to build software and deploy it and that is because of the experience they possess. They have a core software development backgound and understood the requirements.

Nothing as such. They are good as they are. Still, if they can work on something is deployment of the right resources and timeline evaluation.

Our previous DB programmer recommended them.

Their team maintains our DB to make sure it continues to function without issues. This includes updating as per requested or fixing bugs that occur.

We work directly with an account manager and have 1 developer assigned to our team. We have had over 5+ developers of the course of this project.

Our DB continues to function on a daily basis without too many issues.

It is easy to communicate with the account manager and developer. We can discuss issues via Skype or the Jira Board.

They offer assistance at affordable pricing.

It has taken them a long time to understand our current DB. With the changing of the programmers, each time, it seemed we had to start again with the understanding. It has been a bit bumpy.

We found this company online , and what made me want to go through them is the transparency and support , they explained how they can help me which gave me more confidence in them . Another factor is that they really understood my project and what I wanted to build . They gave me advice on what was best for me .

We had a series of meeting and discussed our goals and ideas .they had a version of the app ready to go in a week so I can see what the app and functionality of the app was going to look like .

A project manager was assigned to me and she was the main point of contact , and also I was in contact with a front end and back end developer .

They were fast about implementing the features that I wanted for the app and the app looked exactly how I wanted it . They were on time on finishing certain tasks.

The project management style was good, what I like was that she was always there for me and answered all my questions and always made time for me.If I needed to talk to her I would get on a zoom call or email her and she would get back to me as soon as possible.

They were patient with me and they taught me a lot of new things that I didn’t know about ab development so I can understand the process, and also they were fast at completing tasks and their experience.

We have an end-user application that needs end-to-end functional testing and wanted a 3rd-party set of eyes to review.

We searched many different vendors and sources and eventually settled on JumpGrowth for their flexibility and cost.

Their team is responsible for learning about our system, defining test scenarios and test cases, and then installing our product and running it through the various tests. All tests are manual to start with a goal to automate these tests in the future. JumpGrowth files all bugs/issues in our own tracking system.

We have one manual tester and one project manager.

The project is still in process, but is achieving the goals we set out for testing and feedback.

We have been a bit disorganized, so JumpGrowth has been very good at being flexible and working with us to develop good testing plans and process.

The offered full-time testing with constant feedback at a cost-effective price.

JumpGrowth has exceeded our expectations so far!

Jump Growth has a strong team in India and also a presence in the US, which makes it easier to communicate across different time zones.

We started from scratch and had to implement all functions and steps. We also need to source data from a data vendor, which added another level of complexity.

Over all, I have worked with about 8 people, 3 people are actual developers, and the rest are management.

The project is coming close to complete, all desired functions have been implemented, in short the development is a success.

Communication is quite smooth and turn around time is very short.

The people at the JumpGrowth team are very friendly. The latest team member speaks good English so I have no problem understanding him.

I think later on when we come to daily update, that greatly enhanced efficiency of the development.
