I’m the founder, director, and CEO of Dentinaltubules, an educational organization in the field of dentistry. We’ve been in operation for 11 years, providing education and knowledge across various projects. We also do events with other organizations.

What challenge were you trying to address with JSP Media Group?

Our initial project with JSP Media Group concerned creating online content for some of our events and lectures.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since the first engagement, we’ve taken over 200 projects to them, including video and marketing content creation.

JSP Media Group has filmed events and surgeries, created marketing content, and crafted event presentations. They handled the full production for us, from scripting to sourcing, filming, and editing. Their team also helps with event promotion.

We have a database of over 43,000 subscribers from over 68 countries around the world.

How did you come to work with JSP Media Group?

We met JSP Media Group at a trade show and based on our decision on three factors. Their team had industry knowledge and experience. They had good attention to detail. Their work also fit our standards in terms of expertise.

The total we’ve spent so far is over £500,000 (approximately $623,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with JSP Media Group began in 2012.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We always get positive feedback on quality; it’s the best on the market. We also have some of the highest video views on the market. We don’t expect YouTube-level numbers, but I believe we’re the third or fourth largest in the world. Our videos have a variety of views, with anything from 400 to 2,000 views. Our website received over 30,000 visits last month, and our events attract 500–1,000 members in the UK annually.

How did JSP Media Group perform from a project management standpoint?

The team at JSP Media Group is brilliant. They’ve met every single project deadline set for them. They have great communication pathways, always available for queries. They use management systems that are useful for tracking the flow and stage of every project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

JSP Media Group delivers the best quality we’ve come across. They’re reliable, professional, cost-effective.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve never had to worry about that. Their team regularly focuses on improvements. They’re proactive about finding solutions. That’s one of the key things we like about them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Clients should spend the initial consultation time and get details to JSP Media Group. This will help them understand the company brand, purpose, values, and what they want to get out of the project. Once that information is given, they’ll produce one of the best packages that we can get.

I do the marketing for Avery Healthcare, and we are in the business of care homes. We have 58 care homes across the UK and I do the marketing for those.

What challenge were you trying to address with JSP Media Group?

Each of our care homes is a living community of people. We wanted to evoke something of the spirit of that community as well as present our homes as the kind of pleasant places they are to live with the quality of the building, the quality of the care, and the atmosphere within those buildings.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The scope was for them to spend a day in each of our homes and to self-guide themselves through the necessary shots in order to produce a 5–10 minutes long corporate video for each of the 58 homes. That video would contain interviews with certain members of the staff, certain residents within the home. Jem (CEO) would execute the interviews and art direct the shoot. Everything but the scripting was done by them.

Our target audience, generally speaking, are people like myself who are putting their mums and dads into care homes. They generally drive the purchase decision, and these videos are used on our website and on social channels. We run campaigns on social channels, and Jem produces a variety of outputs for us and we use those videos in the most appropriate way. Together, we have shot for around 100 different care homes over the years.

Jem was our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with JSP Media Group?

I have been working with them for almost 10 years, which is quite a long time. I think it was a cold call and I think he happened to ring us at the right time.

How much have you invested in them?

We pay about £2,500 (approximately $3,100 USD) for each video. We have easily done 70 videos with him, so we have spent around £180,000 (approximately $224,00 USD) so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been working together since around January 2011, and the relationship is ongoing. We are building more care homes. There has been a bit of a pause, but we will call them again soon.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have put all the videos out. They get watched and shared, and they get mentioned so we know that they do the business for us.

How did JSP Media Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Jem is very communicative; he is easy to work with and a pleasure to work with. He does go out of his way to ensure that we are happy with what we have.

In the nine years, I don’t think we have had a single issue. The work isn’t always executed as we want it to be, but that is quickly amended. These days, he is so familiar with the style of what we require, that he is able to deliver that with his eyes closed.

Recently, he has actually modernized it. We have tried to introduce new technology, new ways of shooting, and stylistically new approaches to how we shoot these things. He has definitely challenged us and also been extremely accommodating.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best thing about working with him is his accommodating nature and helpfulness.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t really fault him, and I don’t think there is anything he could have done much better. Maybe he needs a more creative art director. He isn’t a creative powerhouse, and I don’t think he would mind me saying that.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about what you want because he isn’t necessarily going to lead you. He will accept the brief in a more challenging way.
