We were very pleased with the project management. They completed within a reasonable timeframe (there was some flex due to new feature requests) and delivered with room to spare for two critical milestones and a time-sensitive demo event. They also communicated well, coordinated all QA testing and releases, processed bug reports and feature requests well, and were a pleasure to work with overall.

We appreciated that the quality of service and the staff remained high through all project phases.

We hired JSGuru for a number of custom software projects to experiment with new ideas or build new modules we did not have technology capacity for.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We worked with JSGuru on multiple projects in the past, and thus we have a strong connection with them. Obviously, we completed our work together successfully on those past occasions and kept coming back to them for new work. Their ability to adjust fast sets them apart, which is essential because we build marketing products that require a particular dynamic.

We primarily worked with their UI/UX design team. We scoped out the project and used AngularJS for implementation.

After a couple of weeks spent in the ideation phase, JSGuru designers implemented all of our ideas into one intuitive interface that we will be able to test with our users very soon.

Used Zoom and Slack for communication. Everything was done efficiently and on time.

We're impressed by their flexibility and domain knowledge for our industry. Deadlines are always tricky for us and JSGuru has delivered on all occasions. The management also understands business in general and how to build a good relationship.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have been familiar with one another for a long time and had a couple of projects to learn how both sides operate. So, we don't have anything special to add or ask for a different outcome.

For the first few weeks we let JSGuru do the development without interruption, after which we then began testing on a regular basis to see progress and ensure all was being built well. We were very pleased with what we saw.

Excellent project management. JSGuru provides daily updates at the end of each work day, detailing what was done for the day and what they will be working on the next day. They have always been available at a moment's notice for virtual meetings or in-person meetings. We as well communicate via WhatsApp and email, and always receive instant replies to all queries.
