We brought Jett on to build Ella from scratch. It's an AI sleep coach for parents that handles real time conversation, remembers things about your child, and connects to the tools parents already use. The tricky part: it had to feel instant in the hand while running pretty heavy AI orchestration underneath. 

The work happened in two phases on one codebase. Phase 1 (June to September 2025) covered the closed beta MVP: mobile app design, frontend, backend, the AI orchestration layer, and the memory and integration foundations. Phase 2 (March to May 2026) extended the platform with new functionality and got us ready for public launch in June 2026. Because the orchestration layer was built properly in Phase 1, everything in Phase 2 inherited it. 

Key deliverables: A React Native mobile app (the conversational surface our users actually use) A Node.js and NestJS/Python backend with an AI orchestration layer

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The clearest outcome is that the work shipped. Both phases came in on time, 100% of contracted scope, on one clean codebase. Phase 1 gave us a closed beta platform that was real enough to put in front of actual parents, which is what we needed to validate the product. Phase 2 built on that same foundation and got us launch ready for June 2026. For an early stage AI product, where most teams either blow timelines or ship something that falls over, getting both phases delivered cleanly is the outcome that matters most to us.

Project management was handled by Jett's team and it just worked. Regular demos, live updates, and I always knew where we were in the build. No chasing for status, no surprises. Both phases came in on time, and when our priorities shifted inside a phase, they adjusted without making it a thing. The engagement was structured as fixed scope per phase with flexibility on what we prioritised inside each one, and that worked because they were genuinely responsive. The decision I appreciated most was an early one. Instead of overbuilding complex multi agent workflows in v1, they pushed us to ship a fast, reliable assistant experience first and move the advanced autonomy work to Phase 2 on top of a proven layer. That call directly affected how quickly we were able to validate with real parents.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The thing that set them apart was how they thought, not just how they built. Early on, they could have just said yes to everything on our wishlist (multi agent workflows, full autonomous execution, the whole demo reel) and we probably would have agreed. Instead they told us to slow down and ship a smaller, reliable thing first, then layer the ambitious stuff on top once we had real users. That's not the answer most agencies give a founder waving a roadmap around. It saved us from shipping something fragile in a category where parents don't forgive fragile. Combine that with how invested they actually were in Ask Ella as a product, not just as a contract, and it made the whole thing feel like we'd added a team rather than hired one.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Jett could have done differently?

Genuinely struggling to find one. The closest thing I can point to is that early in Phase 1, the level of technical detail in some of the architecture conversations was beyond what I needed as a founder, and it took a couple of sessions to land on a rhythm that worked for both sides. Once we found it, it was fine. But that's about us calibrating, not about anything they did wrong.

Jett Develops was hired to take our completed wireframes and design system for Launture AI and transform them into a polished, production-ready Figma file. The scope included four marketing pages (Homepage, Features, Pricing, and a Brand Name Generator landing page) built using our Relume wireframes, and ten app screens built from scratch using ASCII wireframe specs. These screens covered the full user journey: an unauthenticated chat homepage, active conversation view, registration gate modal, main workspace, execution action cards, phase overview, pricing modal, workspace launcher, and settings screen. In addition, Jett built a comprehensive reusable component library totaling approximately 46 components and over 150 variants across three tiers — atomic primitives, composed mid-level components, and full layout frames. They also set up a complete Figma design system with color tokens (dark and light mode), typography using Newsreader, Figtree, and JetBrains Mono, spacing and border radius tokens, shadow styles, and a Lucide icon set.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main outcome was a fully production-ready Figma file covering 4 polished marketing pages and 10 app screens, delivered alongside a complete component library and design system. The design translated our wireframes into something genuinely beautiful and immediately handoff-ready for development. What we didn't expect was how much the team elevated the work beyond the brief — bringing creative inspiration, flagging gaps in our strategic thinking, and producing a visual identity for the product that we're proud to show. The deliverables were exactly what we needed to move confidently into the development phase.

Honestly, project management was one of the strongest parts of the collaboration. Deadlines were met consistently, and whenever I came back with feedback or new ideas mid-process, the team adapted quickly without losing momentum. What stood out was that they never needed much hand-holding — they understood the product vision early on and ran with it. It felt less like managing a vendor and more like working with a team that genuinely cared about the outcome. I'd highlight that as one of the main reasons the project landed where it did.

It's rare to find a team that brings this level of both creative excellence and genuine investment in your product's success. The Figma design they produced was impressive on its own — but what really set them apart was how they approached the whole collaboration. They weren't just executing a spec; they were thinking alongside us, pushing back when something could be done better, and bringing ideas we hadn't even considered. The communication was exceptional throughout — always ahead of potential issues, always focused on the bigger picture. By the end of the project, it didn't feel like we had hired a design agency. It felt like we had found a long-term partner. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Nothing comes to mind, and I've tried to think of something. The project ran smoothly, the communication was solid, and the deliverables were exactly what we needed. If anything, it set a bar that I'll be comparing other collaborations against going forward.

If anything, the only challenge was that Jett moves fast — sometimes faster than we were ready for on our side. A bit more time built in for internal reviews would have helped us keep pace. That said, their speed and efficiency are also what made the project launch ahead of schedule, so it’s a strength as much as an area for fine-tuning.

I am the Founder of Ronin Ventures - a blockchain software and infrastructure company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Jett?

Lack of user experience design in goods is one of the challenges of working in the blockchain industry. We recognized an opportunity to create solutions that would provide users with a cutting-edge UI and UX similar to those of already-available solutions in other industries.

As a result, we employed Jett to help us with the UI/UX design of a number of products, such as an NFT Marketplace, Web3 Wallet, and a few others.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

An important consideration while hiring is, overall enthusiasm for the projects. We were seeking for a team that had a strong desire to satisfy and was "hungry" for work. Additionally, we were searching for a group that could adapt to the demands of a sector like blockchain which is changing quickly.

When we chatted with Jett, we discovered all of these qualities in addition to the capacity to build lasting relationships. They presented the brief with high professionalism and demonstrated a readiness to adapt to modifications. It was clear that we could collaborate with them on a variety of projects.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The first task for Jett Develops was creating UI/UX design for NFT Marketplace. The deliverables were: competitors’ research, user flow creation, wireframing, and prototyping.

After the first phase, I decided to assign one more project - Web3 Wallet design - since I liked the way guys managed to complete the research. As of July 2022, Jett Develops delivered for our company the following products:

• UI/UX design and development for NFT Collection Website (under development)

As for the tech stack, we utilize Jett Develops mostly for the frontend (React) based tasks, Unity tasks, and Smart Contract Development (Rust).

In terms of important UI/UX designs, Jett was able to offer a high level of satisfaction. Additionally, they were able to refine a number of the designs to an initial MVP stage that allowed internal developers to take over. Overall, they were able to set a delivery deadline and consistently meet it while being open to fast iterating over feedback.

Highly effective! We like to be very active in the process and believe in quick iterative feedback. Jett was very accommodating to a client that is as participatory as we are.

I believe Jett has a solid team of people skilled in various areas and effective at what they do. I believe there is room for improved communication when deciding on the architecture for developing apps. That is to say, it is best to investigate the feature's objective from a development position rather than taking some UI features literally, leading to the construction of a modular architecture. This would provide the client the freedom to eventually tweak things without having to do major redesigns. With it, Jett would raise their performance to an A+.
