I'm the CEO and founder of Adyton, a high tech performance improvement company focused on innovative, world first technologies, and solutions, designed for people who work with their hands and the companies that employ them.

For what projects/services did your company hire iTechNotion Private Limited?

iTechNotion was hired to collaborate with a hardware engineering company and my company to provide the software engineering services required to develop a cloud-based, conversational user interface and reporting function, enabled with a mobile, WiFi earphone and microphone.

What were your goals for this project?

Goals included:

1. Enable people who work with their hands to receive step-by-step process instructions, on demand, hands free, as they work
2. Enable companies to write an SOP in one language, then deliver it globally, verbally in 129 other languages without translation expense
3. Enable companies to update, then deliver a global SOP instantly with no residual documentation
4. Passively capture performance data at process step and individual performer granularity so it can be used to reveal performance and organizational needs across an entire organization or for individual performers
5. Capture continuous process and performance improvement suggestions from users, hands-free, while they work
6. Enable financial return on investment reporting for onboarding, training, process changes, and other interventions,
7. Enable all navigation and process steps to be delivered to/from workers, on-the-fly, to implement the system with highest possible security,
8. Enable management and users to instantly identify performance and process improvement opportunities via a color-coded report
9. An alert that indicates when a worker didn't spend the minimum expected time performing a process step
10. An alert triggered by 2 words or a single button press that workers can send to request immediate help from their supervisor
11. Eliminate cell phones from the entire system to dramatically reduce costs. Our development goal was to create a system that would verbally deliver step-by-step work instructions, globally, on demand, in any language, to a WiFi earphone, then report the time users spend on each STEP along with their continuous improvement feedback.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I initially sorted through independent contractors worldwide who appeared to be willing and able to do the work at the rate I was willing and able to pay. Understanding English was also important. (I did more searching in English speaking nations/former British colonies). I ultimately selected iTechNotion largely because of their capabilities but also because they seemed genuinely enthusiastic about taking on the project's significant challenges.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

From the beginning, the project clearly suggested a partnership between my company and the vendors instead of the typical hit and run project. Vendor/partner selection obviously required the focused skills of a hardware/firmware engineering firm and a separate software engineering firm instead of a single firm trying to be all things to all people.

Ideally, the 2 companies would enjoy working together, would be in the same locale, and would complement & support each other through the easy and difficult times. Also ideal, would be a true affinity for innovation and perseverance to the completion. The services provided were what anyone would expect from any software/hardware project PLUS an inspiring level of commitment, exuberance, and innovation.

What was the team composition?

The team was quite lean. There was a single person involved in the project from the client side; me. The hardware vendor's staff included PCB, 3D printing, and firmware engineers. The software vendor included programmers and cloud developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The work iTechNotion and the group completed provided for my company:

1. Its first product
2. The hardware "chassis" for future products
3. The software and technical foundation for an entire pipeline of products.

Moreover, the project resulted in the world's smallest WiFi earphone, the first mobile workflow learning system, and the first mobile performance assurance system.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project was arranged by a project manager with over 20 years of experience. The milestones and tasks were carefully scheduled to coordinate and test software, hardware, and firmware sprints. Because we were doing things that had never been done before, our project plans were based on what we guessed must be completed, and we were often wrong.

In the end, we accomplished all our goals. As could be expected of any project developing entirely new technologies, It was a very difficult project but the results should be very rewarding to the entire development group.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Curiosity. Confidence. Resilience. Perseverance. Capability. They accepted a huge challenge and exceeded it. We're all better because they did. There was a really bad Friday in 2019 when I met Lord Ganesha and Shiva in Detroit. By Monday, all was good!

Are there any areas for improvement?

Always. But the old saying about needing to crack some eggs to make a cake rings very true.

We met through a mutual contact, which formed a trusting business relationship and friendship.

Every project varies, as individual businesses often have many unique requirements ranging from extant platform customizations to bespoke solutions. We work together at every stage: planning and execution, code analysis, bug repair, and end product delivery.  

What was the team composition?

I work directly with Avkash (Founder and CTO, iTechNotion IT Solutions LLP). The team includes several other professionals, such as developers and QA specialists.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Each project comes with many achievements, be it improved UX or an increase in users and customers. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The partnership has allowed both companies to seek new opportunities and better communicate with local and international clients. International customers gain the peace of mind that their projects are fully understood without the complexity of a language barrier, and our UK clients benefit from having a direct point of contact within the same country. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team’s in-depth knowledge extends to all things web and beyond.

I am the chief project manager at DB Corp LTD (DAINIK Bhaskar).

For what projects/services did your company hire iTechNotion IT Solutions LLP?

We hired iTechNotion to help us develop an employee leave and attendance management system. We had researched myriad management systems for one that would fit our needs, but found nothing, so we decided to pursue custom software development. 

What were your goals for this project?

The system needed to accommodate our 10,000+ employees. 

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I connected with iTechNotion via my local contacts. Experienced with web, Android, and iOS platforms, they developed several small test modules for us before we hired them for the bulk of the project. 

Describe the project in detail.

We defined the scope for the web and mobile apps, then asked them to send us a wireframe so we could approve the UI/UX. Working in two phases, they began developing the finalized design, which included a geolocation functionality. 

What was the team composition?

They assigned two app developers, two web developers, and one QA specialist. I was involved as well for scope approval.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project has been a great value for our money. iTechNotion’s solution made our previous tracker obsolete. Using the app, employees can now mark their attendance from the field and apply for and receive leave approval from any location. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Both the owner and project manager attended our Google Hangouts meetings and conference calls, and, because of the proximity of their location and our corporate headquarters, we were able to travel between offices. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Due in large part to the owner’s positive leadership, employees are encouraged to take ownership of the projects. They actively participate by implementing new ideas.

They had to allocate more resources than expected to meet our short project deadline.
