Itec engaged us with an incredible CRO copywriter to build the copy and navigation flow. They then built the website with our inspiration in sketch to help us visualize the framework and design, which was incredible. 

As the site was being built, they used digital project management tools to keep us involved through every development stage, ensuring we would provide timely and organized feedback. Once the website was built, we subscribed to a maintenance and hosting program to ensure optimal performance and security at all times.

Site speed and performance are objectively excellent. SEO scoring is incredibly high. The website is error-free and optimized for web and desktop perfectly.

Technical competence is world-class. Business workflow and progress updates with clients were incredibly easy. They understood how to make our brand speak on web pages. The site was exactly how we hoped it would be from a brand standards position. They wouldn't compromise with "good enough" - they ensured it was perfect from day one, insisting highly-effective CRO copywriting initiates the project. This was so incredibly valuable, and I didn't know it at the time.

After a meeting and receipt of the mock-up site, I provided feedback to the designer who patiently worked with me through each step of the process.

The designer/project manager was easy communicate with and provided me updates throughout the process. We had virtual and phone meetings as needed. I received communications to clarify expectations about timing.

I really appreciated how patient the designer/project manager was with me given my various time constraints and all of my questions/requests. She thoughtfully responded to my questions and diligently worked with me to address my requests. They took the time to explain processes and decisions in a way that was easily digestible.

I don't think there is anything that the designer/project manager could have done differently.

Stage 1 was working with a content writer who provided our content to ITEC. Stage 2 was the web design with check in points for us to provide any edits or changes to the pages as they were built. Stage 3 was the web design where we essentially got to ensure all the links, contacts points etc. worked to our liking. Stage 4 was GO LIVE.

We had one point of contact the entire time which was Anna, Digital Enterprise Management. She is incredible knowledgeable and responsive, we enjoyed working with her.

The website looks fantastic! We were very pleased with our project experience.

Communication was timely and more importantly, Anna always laid out options with pros and cons for each, where applicable she provided links to websites to show us what the end result would be, this made it easy to make decision and keep the project moving forward.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We have never used a web design/development company before so I cannot compare but I can say in our search some never called us back or responded to our emails, indicating to us that they would not be a good fit.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing comes to mind.

After we launched the new website, our Google Ads account showed a 93% jump in site traffic. Our company is now displayed on the first page of results when searching for our products on Google. We constantly get feedback on how great the site looks as well as a lot of leads through our contact form.

Everything was quite seamless. We shared ideas and came up with cool designs for the web page. Throughout the process, they worked with us through every detail and suggested several great additions that we never thought of. Any time I sent an email, I would get a reply within 30 minutes. It was great working with iTec Web Solutions.

I was quite impressed that they made an effort to understand exactly what my company does and how we operate before starting the work. They then used this info to design the perfect site for our needs. iTec Web Solutions brought ideas to the table that I had not previously thought of.

I have no figures to share since our website has just launched.

The Trello board was a great way for us to communicate requests. The team efficiently implemented all of our feedback. In particular, Anna was easy to communicate with as she was very invested in her work. I’m looking forward to training with her on how to manage the website.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

This was my first time working with a site development vendor. It was a pleasant experience due to their communication style. While they listened to internal feedback, they also weren't afraid to offer their own opinions. Plus, they have outstanding expertise in graphic design.

I did have to double check the vendor’s work a couple of times, but I think that is to be expected.

We found iTec through Upwork. I had never used this service before as I wasn't entirely confident in the quality of vendors there. However, after going through my network and asking for referrals, I was shocked to find that the vendor we were most impressed with was initially sourced from that platform.

Once we selected iTec, they immediately got to work with understanding our goals and objectives for the project. Their turnaround was quick and they went above and beyond to exceed our expectations and meet deadlines.

There was a large team of designers and developers involved but we dealt strictly with just one web developer, which minimized confusion and streamlined communication.

We were thrilled with the final design, UI/UX, custom graphics, etc. The website recently launched so we haven’t had the chance yet to analyze metrics.

This aspect was extremely effective due to having one main point of contact. Communication was primarily conducted through Skype and Trello.

We started working on the home page and they’re creating an entirely new look for our website along with SEO [search engine optimization] strategy and conversion optimization work. We are also going forward with three of our other websites with them.

We shortlisted many developers. Their boutique firm had a lot of clients and a very extensive portfolio. We decided to go with a small vendor who could work with an existing template, which we had purchased previously.

Can you provide a ballpark dollar figure for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?

It was less than $10,000.

When was the work completed?

They are doing the final linking for our website. We’re planning to launch this on February 4, 2015.

Do you have any statistics or metrics to track improvement from the project?

It's too early to answer this question because we haven't launched the site yet.

Are you satisfied with their performance?

I’m very satisfied. Anna [Gondzik, iTec Web Solutions CEO] is great to work with. She’s very organized and very competent. It’s not only Web design work, but also SEO [search engine optimization] and best practices for search engine marketing. She keeps up with the latest information and has an answer for everything in terms of the right thing to do. If you give her work, it will get done properly. She never says it’s impossible. She is detailed and particular with details. 

We were anticipating to pay 50 percent less, but the project doubled in size. We went over budget, but that was our fault. There was an issue once that the best SEO consultants couldn’t fix, but iTec Web Solutions fixed it overnight. 

They breathed life into us. They know what will work for their customers. They offer a lot of great solutions. Their team is always traveling between different global offices, but is still able to give full attention to our project.

Is there anything unique about iTec that really makes them stand out, compared to other online marketing companies?

Besides being very competent, they’re very responsive for tech support. If Anna is not available, there is someone else who makes sure the job gets done.

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or that you might do differently?

I really cannot think of anything to critique as far as work quality or suggestions offered.

What advice would you give to a future client of theirs?

Perhaps they could have another budget package created so that all of the work after the review session is also included within a package. When you just add components, it can get out of hand.

We finished the first round of work in the first six months. As our business grew and we needed more customer reach in terms of advertising, they took that work. Each time we talk, they give me certain industry trends that they see on their side.

I found them on Google and called them. The reason that I decided to work with them was because when I explained what I needed, they convinced me to do less than I had planned and taught me why that would be a better approach. I found that to be a very credible and genuine approach since they were turning down potential revenue.

I have a lot of website visitors. They made our website very creative, colorful, and new. Many clients commented us for being very different. Our site offers a new way of thinking. Our website is very different compared to others in our industry. I would describe the results in two words: Differentiated and creative.

Yes. They didn’t try to oversell themselves. That was a really different approach. They found a few things that I could improve on in terms of marketing. A lot of the things they taught me from their experience were very helpful. When I tested the tips they gave, they were absolutely right. [The company that] bought my company, also found them to be very helpful.

Their genuineness sets them apart. They are not out to get your money for every little tweak and enhancement. That is a huge difference. Also, their ideas are always new and creative. They are always improving their skills.

It would be nice for them to have a different type of pricing and service package for large enterprises and smaller enterprises in the enterprise market. If they would hire some content writers, that may also help their position in the enterprise market.
