Each and every milestone that we've received from Dax's team were close to perfect, our own QA team didn't have to go through each build that much as it's as good as it gets when Dax's team sends it over

Their PM Vikram always keeps us up to date and is very transparent, whenever there are blockers we would always know and they make sure that the dependencies on our side are cleared asap.

CEO, Daxesh Patel, have been extremely responsive and flexible as we have worked to develop and deliver a broad range of software in support of our clients. Daxesh has ensured that we had the expert support in place to complete a broad array of software projects, from straightforward mobile applications to complex platforms that operate on the web and other types of devices.

I don't think I really have anything besides keep up the good work!

I am the Co-Founder of Financielle, a financial wellness app helping people take control of their money and be financially well.

Financielle hired Iroid to build it's first mobile application for submission to both app stores. Our goals were to build an app that was an enhancement to the existing Financielle brand, was suitable for paying customers and was capable of easy iteration and development.

We searched for an appropriate vendor on upwork.com and had a Request For Proposal from two vendors and ultimately selected Iroid for a combination of the response to proposal, the team offering, the price they would develop for and the positive reviews they had.

The scope of work involved a mobile application for release in both App Store and Google Play Store. The App included education and course functionality, budget and net worth software, life admin reminders and push notifications. Additional features included community software, blog article functionality and our Instagram feed pulling in.

We had between 5 and 10 team members working on the project at any one time, including product owners, front end and back end engineers, QA testers and designers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within the first month of the app launch, we saw 1000 users and 15% conversion to premium use. We've had positive quantitive and qualitative feedback from users, especially from those who knew and liked the brand before the app launch. The product met expectations.

We benefitted from the Iroid project management style, including an inclusive Skype chat group, a project management portal where we could track progress and communicate on specific points. We were also impressed by the timely responses from the team, especially with the difference in time zones.

We loved the quality of the development and the collaboration between Iroid and Financielle - we felt like one team which is essentially to be able to develop with precision and pace.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are continuing our relationship with Iroid and look forward to further developing ways of working, but overall we have been very impressed with the quality of work delivered.

We had an iniital concept for a website to capture the 'big ideas' in an easily searchable and intuitive web app. We needed saving options, a quiz functionality, membership options for B2C and B2B. We essentially had a 10 page brief which we took to market.

We selected 5 companies to interview based on reviews and experience in similar jobs. iRoid impressed us in the interview, they'd obviously read and understood our brief, and rather than just telling us how they'd do it they had great questions which challenged our assumptions about the technology approach we were planning.

They offered value in that first meeting and seemed easy to work with, so it was an easy choice.

We went through a design phase where we sharpened and changed our initial mockups with iRoid feedback. Then we moved to the initial build, and testing phase. That included a sand box version which we tested with about 50 people, and then we went live.

There were three main touch points - Daxesh, the dev, and the project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The main deliverables were budget and timeline. iRoid stuck to both. We made a number of late changes - iRoid accepted many for free, and provided a very reasonable rate for our more substantial shifts. They were very flexible throughout.

PMing was great - almost invisible, just ticking away. They asked what tools we wanted to use for comms, offering options. We used email & trello and had weekly check ins throughout. They always got back to us within a few hours for any issues that popped up along the way.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They get the job done fast, and cost-effectively. They're easy to work with and don't stop until they get it done to your expectations. They went the extra mile at every turn.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is little room for improvement here, they probably needed a few feedback loops on some of the aesthetics/ UX issues but that was minor.

I’m the founder and CEO of a startup called BabyWise. Our app helps pregnant women and young mothers get specialized care and advice for their babies.

The quality of our offshore engagement has increased significantly since working with this smaller software development house. I’ve been extremely happy with their services so far.

How did perform from a project management standpoint?

The team lead is extremely responsive; I can even get ahold of him on the weekends. While there was an eight-hour time difference between us, it was never an issue. They managed their work very well, even with other projects on the line. They did this while navigating their own COVID-19 lockdowns in India, which I was even more impressed by.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our assigned team lead is exceptional on many fronts. He’s incredibly in tune with what we need and want, and he understands the urgency of our needs, especially since we’re a rapidly-growing startup. I’d highlight their professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to be available when we need them.

I’m also quite impressed by the cost of their services for the quality they offer. They’re amazingly cost-effective and competitively priced.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their most qualified teammates are often busy, taken up with other projects. So I’d appreciate some increased quality control, but we’re currently managing that ourselves, without issue.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d encourage you to go work with them. Try them out, because they do great work. They’re trustworthy, responsive, and very reasonably priced.

My name is Jordan, I am one of the founder of Townview. Townview bridges the online gap between small businesses and local customers.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a system that allowed us to post events, deals, news, products and services from a website to an app. The admin panel would allow us to connect to users on the iOS Townview application.

We initially found iRoid on UpWork. We had a few options to choose from but we ultimately chose iRoid because of their experience and history.

They designed a system that allowed us to connect to our server from both an iOS app and an online website. We post content that shows up on the iOS app from the website. We are also able to send push notifications, in-box messages, and post products from the website; that all show up on the iOS app.

What was the team composition?

When we ask them to do work for us, there are usually two people on the project. One for the app and the other for the backend. They are very quick. They team is quite large now.

When we started with them they were a smaller company; but that shows the profession of their work. They provide quality work to their clients, so by word-of-mouth they are able to get other people's attention.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

iRoid has build us a system that has gotten us meetings with investors and over 900 downloads on the iOS store. We have done our fair share of work on our end but without the prototype to actually test our hypothesis, this project would still be an idea.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team is usually very fast with their work. If we set deadlines, they usually finish before time. The best part is their follow-up. If bugs occur they are quick to come in and fix the problem.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to connect with you as a client is impressive. When I started this project I was not technical. They were accommodating to the situation and tried to guide as much as possible.

Now that I am becoming technically literate, they are willing to break down what's happening when they make changes to the system in order for me to understand their logic.

They are able to express the project simply to someone who is a beginner, and they also are able to clearly break down the project to someone who understands code; that's impressed me the most.

iRoid is great, I think their work speaks for itself. They are extremely capable, I am impressed by what Pritesh and Daxesh have accomplished.

efii, registered as MagnoAPPS, connects local freelancers with buyers within a specific location proximity. As the founder of efii, I closely monitor and work with the developer team in order to constantly enhance efii's user experience and introduce new features and updates.

I hired iRoid to oversee the development of my web application efii. Initially, we only started out as a mobile app on iOS and Android, and from then we moved on to a web based application.

What were your goals for this project?

My aim is to make efii a global freelance platform, and I am convinced that efii is in line to achieve this. Gradually, it is expanding in different geographies around the world, with certain demographics being more receptive to it than others.

How did you select this vendor?

I first met iRoid online, while conducting a search for developers. I had interviewed many developers prior to my chat with Pritesh. Once I got on a call with Pritesh, I immediately knew that he was the person I'm going to hire for my project.

I believe that beyond his professionalism, as a person I get along well with him and the values and standards that he stands for in his work are in line with mine.

Once we started the project together, we scheduled an almost weekly meetings to discuss the updates and milestones, but that was initially for the first month or so.

During this time we had looked at the scope of work, milestones, and key deliverables and made our expectations to each other openly. Within the first few weeks, I received the initial design concepts on which there were some iterations and which also sparked new ideas.

iRoid were simultaneously working on the core code of the app during this phase in order to expedite the process, and within a while the admin panel was ready. The mobile apps followed shortly, and we spent a while conducting tests and performing trial and error checks, until we reached our final product which went live soon after.

A few months after launch I got in touch again with Pritesh for some modifications and changes, and every few months we introduce new updates to the platform.

What was the team composition?

Initially, and until now, my point of contact at iRoid has always been Pritesh. At times, when Pritesh is away or on vacation, one other team member is assigned to handle my queries without delay.

I am only in contact with iRoid via Pritesh but I am well aware of the team behind Pritesh, and I am well aware that there are frontend and backend developers working on my project, some with expertise in iOS apps development and other in Android, while also having some team members experienced in web app development.

Quality assurance checks are also performed by iRoid even before sharing a beta testing version with me.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The growth of my project has been going well since launch. So far we have over 5000 user sign ups and continuing to grow. Our ratings on the App Store and google play store are good to, 4 stars and over. Our users constantly send us messages praising the flow of our app and the front end designs and its simplicity.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Ive had the pleasure of working with Pritesh (and iRoid) multiple times already. This team has always been punctual in delivery. Always available for any kind of support related to the project, and I can only say positive comments about the quality of the work they deliver.
