What challenge were you trying to address with INVESMITH?

We wanted to fix our radio stations so we could air radio shows.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

INVESMITH set up our radio station using a SAM Broadcaster. Their team walked me through the setup and highlighted several key points to go over regularly when using the station.  

What is the team composition?

I only worked with one teammate from ​​INVESMITH. 

How did you come to work with INVESMITH?

I was referred to INVESMITH by a friend. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested several hundred dollars with INVESMITH. 

What is the status of this engagement?

My partnership with INVESMITH began in November 2021, and it's ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Once INVESMITH set up the radio station, they provided me with a video walkthrough for future use. Overall, they've done a great job. 

How did INVESMITH perform from a project management standpoint?

INVESMITH has good project management — they stay within our timeline and budget. Generally, we communicate through email and SMS messages. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

INVESMITH answers any questions or concerns I have — they've done an excellent job so far. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing for INVESMITH to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise customers to reach out to INVESMITH when they need to because they're quick to respond.

I’m the owner of Open Arms Counseling Services LLC. We provide therapy and counseling for couples and individuals.

What challenge were you trying to address with INVESMITH?

We were looking for someone to build our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

INVESMITH helped develop our website from scratch using Squarespace. We started the project by discussing the requirements including the color and logo options.

They then proceeded to create information pages and implemented simple features such as an appointment form and a payment tab.

Moreover, they also hosted our website and provided us with a booklet that contains instructions on how to update information on the platform ourselves.

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with the CEO.

How did you come to work with INVESMITH?

INVESMITH was referred to me by a business colleague who had previous experience working with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $500.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership ran from September–November 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

While I don’t have any specific metrics to share, there have been a significant number of people who’ve praised my website and asked who developed it.

How did INVESMITH perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very prompt, responsive, and consistently on top of the project. They gave us more information than we can handle and reached out to us in an agile way.

We typically communicate through email and text.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their level of responsiveness and professionalism.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they could improve on because they had the resources and ideas that were necessary to build our website.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise them to be more engaged and receptive to what INVESMITH will provide.

I’m the owner of a workshop called RISE Hypnotic Meditation.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with INVESMITH?

I wanted a very attractive and modern website that I could feel proud of and send people to it to check the services we offer.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since there were different types of studios, types of businesses, and places in the country where I could teach RISE’s meditation, I wanted a multifunctional website that allowed me to have the flexibility to teach and travel. 

INVESTMITH set up separate pages for different types of classes and worked on a scheduling system so people could register and pay for their classes. The team implemented Square for payment processes and reworked some functionalities to make the most out of the site. Through some conversations, we decided that the website needed my personal information and certifications so customers could trust the brand. They also did some design work on brochures and flyers. 

What is the team composition?

I worked with Stephen (Owner).

How did you come to work with INVESMITH?

I found Stephen online on a website that reviewed web developers for small businesses.

How much have you invested with them?

I invested around $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership lasted from March–April 2021. However, I’m currently updating the site and if I have any questions, I can contact INVESMITH for assistance.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website is live and customers can go and sign up for classes. I’ve had some income coming already from the site, earning a couple of hundred dollars in just a week.

How did INVESMITH perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated through Zoho. I wasn’t sure of what I wanted at first, and the team managed the project patiently. They gave me a lot of time to work out what was best for what I needed. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m not a technical person, and the team was really good at educating me on how to use and upgrade the website they developed. Sometimes I didn’t have the correct technology to work together so we had to reschedule appointments. They were kind and never got frustrated about it. 

They were also very flexible. For example, they wanted me to use Stripe to collect income, but I used Square a lot and had that already set up. They agreed to switch over to Square and worked on it. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I thought the web development process would be a little faster than it did. These were just my expectations, however, and had nothing to do with INVESMITH’s team. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just communicate a lot. If you’re not actively involved in the process, you might not get what you want.

I'm the owner of Truly Toya Lingerie and Loungewear company. I sell fashion-forward lingerie and loungewear.

What challenge were you trying to address with INVESMITH?

I hired INVESMITH to help me with my digital needs, including my website’s design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I wanted the website to have a certain look and feel, and I wanted my customers to easily access and navigate the site. We built it from scratch, and INVESMITH did everything for me, including the inventory and cataloging of my products. 

What is the team composition?

I worked with Stephen (Owner). 

How did you come to work with INVESMITH?

I was referred to Stephen by another person. 

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve invested less than $10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around June 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I can’t mention any specific number. However, INVESMITH has driven more attention to my business than anything I could have done on my own or with anybody else. I’ve also received nothing but positive feedback from customers and people who have seen the site.

We’ve seen an increase in sales, traffic, subscribers, and the number of people that follow my pages. Overall, the site has had a great impact on the business. I’ve been very pleased with INVESMITH’s work, and everything gets better as time goes on. 

How did INVESMITH perform from a project management standpoint?

We talk 2–3 times a month about the website, and we communicate through phone, video chats, and in-person meetings. 

What makes Stephen the best is that he’s very patient. I’m a woman — that’s my superpower — and I’m very picky and particular. He’s been very patient, and when somebody is patient with me, I know that says a lot about their abilities. He’s very professional, prompt, and encouraging, and I've never had problems with him on pretty much anything. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

INVESMITH’s level of professionalism stands out. Stephen listens to me and then gives me his suggestions, which have been so on point. If I tell him what I have in mind, he gives me his feedback, and the feedback and ideas are always good. He also makes me understand why he feels something is better than what I think.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. There’s always room for improvement and to do things differently, but I can’t think of anything negative. Stephen is worth the money because he’s on time and patient. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come to INVESMITH with something that they can work on, even if it’s just a smidgen of an idea. For instance, if you want your website to be in blue, be patient enough to listen to Stephen’s idea because he might suggest a more vibrant or a duller shade of blue. 

He’s open to suggestions, and you should be the same. The engagement has to be a two-way street, and when both of you are open to ideas, the partnership runs smoothly.
