It was a platform for the comprehensive management of feed prescriptions for intensive cattle breeding or feedlots. It's a project that didn't exist until then, so it's highly innovative and 100% customizable to our business. In this first project, the web platform was developed using JavaScript technologies for the frontend (React) and Python for the backend. Python was used for even smoother integration with Artificial Intelligence solutions.
Within the AI ​​area, open source Machine Learning models were implemented, as well as integration with an LLM (Llama 3.2) to implement a generative AI engine.
The infrastructure was built on a sophisticated AWS solution.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The best result is the rapid user adoption. User acceptance and feedback were truly excellent.
Feed prescriptions were improved because manual dosing was eliminated, and all producers can make decisions as if the expert were on-site.
The quality of the delivered solution was very good. Even upon completion, some small improvement ideas emerged that were well addressed by the Intermedia IT team.
The fact that a QA expert was appointed from the start was key; this meant that the final solution was virtually error-free and ready for production without major fixes.

Throughout the project, communication with Intermedia was consistently fluid and efficient. We were able to interact and receive quick responses from both the technical team and the account manager, which significantly contributed to achieving our goals.
We primarily used tools like Slack, but also resorted to WhatsApp and Google Meet when collaborative work or screen sharing was necessary.

Intermedia has planned and completed the developments within the proposed timeframe, keeping me informed at all times.

Development proceeded in stages. We began with backend development and the initial proofs of concept (PoC). Once this stage was completed, we moved on to the development of the first agents. Conversational bots were generated through Telegram, using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) techniques. For the backend, we worked in two programming languages ​​due to our business strategy; both Python and NodeJS were used. Additionally, automation was implemented using the N8N framework. This allowed us to complete integrations with an ERP (SAP) and our communication tool (Slack).

Additionally, this platform makes it very easy to incorporate new integrations. A web interface is also provided for additional configurations; it was developed with ReactJS.

Several AI models were used within the field of Machine Learning. Regarding LLMs, Gemini and Llama 3.2 were used as open source options. OCR techniques were implemented for document digitization.

Our satisfaction with the deliverables is absolute. Thanks to this platform, we were able to increase our clients' NPS, as it allows us to provide them with many more tools, with such a high level of innovation that they possibly could not have incorporated each one in isolation. Each deliverable was completed on time and in the correct manner.

They've always worked with agile methodologies, using two-week sprints and holding regular meetings and ceremonies.

Several key modules of the platform were developed as part of the project. The most critical component is the AI engine, which is responsible for training models, analyzing merchant data, and generating personalized recommendations. This core system was built using technologies such as Python and PostgreSQL.

To support client integration, a RESTful API was also developed, enabling external systems to securely interact with the platform.

Beyond the AI engine, a marketing landing page was created to promote the product and provide merchants with direct access to the platform. Built using modern JavaScript-based web technologies, this initial landing page later evolved into a fully functional web application, allowing users to access the platform’s features through a secure, user-friendly interface.

Additionally, an AI-powered Telegram bot was implemented to offer users another channel for interacting with the platform’s core features in a convenient and conversational format.

Given the sensitivity of the data involved, infrastructure and security were top priorities. The platform was deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using a highly secure and scalable architecture that meets the highest standards of data protection and compliance.

Beyond the technical development, Intermedia IT also provided comprehensive UX/UI and branding services. Their work went beyond designing the front-end interfaces of the platform—they also supported the creation of commercial materials, including the pitch deck, and contributed to defining the visual identity of the project.

This included color palette selection, logo refinement, and strategic suggestions to enhance the overall brand identity. I’m extremely satisfied with the creative team’s work, as it enabled me to effectively connect the project with both end users and potential investors.
