Intermedia IT has been essential throughout the project creation and launch process. In the first phase, we focused exclusively on product discovery. During the discovery process, we held several requirements gathering, definitions, and refinement meetings. 

As final deliverables, we received high-definition navigable prototypes of the solution, a commercial proposal design to market the product, the definition of the technological stack with which the solution was later implemented, and the list of functionalities to implement for the MVP along with a work roadmap and effort estimation. 

Then, in the second phase, we focused on MVP development. We worked with the Intermedia IT team, adopting agile methodologies, which allowed us to have visibility into the progress and adjust definitions throughout the development stage. Beyond the source code, the valuable deliverables for us here were the versions with the MVP advancements that were being uploaded to the stores and the web. 

Finally, during the final production launch phase, Intermedia IT was responsible for uploading and launching the applications and web system to the production environments, ensuring correct publications on the stores and corresponding servers. The technologies we adopted for the mobile applications were Kotlin and SwiftUI for Android and iOS, respectively, React for web system development, Node.js for all backend development and necessary APIs, and we used AWS Cloud for all the production infrastructure of this project.

Given our lack of experience in everything related to the digital world, Intermedia IT was fundamental for us throughout the construction, execution, and launch process of our product. They helped us refine our ideas, defining different types of systems and functionalities for each type of user; they contributed with the user-friendly design; they provided visibility at all times on the development progress and allowed us to actively participate in it. We are very happy and satisfied with everything they provided and how they assisted us throughout the project.

We met with them and we raised our need. In response, they explained to us about their consulting service, which perfectly aligned with our expectations: carrying out a comprehensive diagnosis of the project and its current situation. The goal was to provide support to the team we already had in charge of the project, allowing us to safely move forward with development.

The scope of the project was not only the classic consultancy as offered by other competitors, but also, after the diagnosis, they accompanied us with 4 joint work sprints where the topics raised in the initial diagnosis were touched on. In other words, they were not only left with marking the improvement points, but they accompanied us to carry them out and thus allowing a substantial improvement in the capabilities of our internal team.

Intermedia implemented a methodology that managed to optimize deadlines and facilitate interaction between teams, which allowed us to undertake the project autonomously based on the knowledge acquired. Regarding the technologies used, the consultancy focused on specializations both in mobile frontend (React Native) and in infrastructure and DevOps, mainly in Amazon Web Services.

Throughout the entire process, they closely accompanied us, providing our team with in-depth and personalized training for this particular project. This resulted in an almost immediate increase in experience for our team members.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The consultancy was carried out over a period of two and a half months, following a two-phase plan: first a diagnostic phase and then an iterative dynamic phase. In the first, which took two weeks, it involved the general diagnosis of the project, making an exhaustive survey and study of everything pre-existing up to that moment. The second phase of the consultancy consisted of 4 biweekly sprints to work in an agile manner and together with the Kilimo team to implement detected improvements.

The execution of the project proceeded with remarkable fluidity and the agreed deadlines were effectively met. We would like to highlight the outstanding performance of the entire team; each member approached the challenges with a proactive attitude. To communicate, we asked them to do so through the Google Workspace suite and the Intermedia team accommodated this request without any problem. We mainly use Google Chat and Google Meet to communicate.

I had an extremely favorable impression of Intermedia; I perceived it as a company of great seriousness and professionalism. In addition to this, I want to highlight his transparency in relation to each of the areas covered by the consultancy, his constant willingness and effective communication that contributed greatly to the smooth development of the entire process. He gave us the security that both I as a leader and my team in particular needed for this phase of development that we were facing.

The consultancy was really outstanding. However, we want to leave open the possibility of having their services again in the future, especially to adjust to emerging technological trends in sectors related to the ones we initially addressed. We hired them to work collaboratively in the development of a mobile app for a foreign client. For its development, agile methodologies were used to organize the work and be able to adapt to the changes and improvements that were emerging in terms of the development of the mobile app.

We worked starting from the design of the user experience (UX), going through the user interface (UI) until the eventual development in Android and iOS. In the case of UX / UI, navigable mockups and prototypes were delivered on the Figma platform. Application development was done natively, therefore Kotlin was used for Android and Swift for iOS.

Something that we really liked is that for both apps, the latest defined architectures were used within the native languages, which are really superior to the traditional ones. Intermedia developed our telemedical consultation application through a comprehensive approach that included research, design, development, testing, and delivery. They used agile methodologies to have continuous monitoring and flexibility to adjust as necessary. They applied modern technologies and user-centric tools to ensure a smooth experience. 

The scope was precisely defined at the end of the Product Discovery service. There we defined the platforms to be implemented, which were: 

• Android and iOS applications for patients 
• Cloud system for medical care 
• Administration back office 

The mobile applications were developed in the native language Kotlin and Swift. The cloud system was made in ReactJS and the NestJS framework for the backend. Another very interesting and important technology for our product was Twilio. This platform is neither more nor less the one that allows us to implement video calls. This recommendation came from the Intermedia team like all other proposed technologies. They also integrated a payment gateway, in this case, Mercado Pago.

We told them the challenge we had to solve and then, together, the necessary solution was developed to meet the needs of the producers. They offered us a work scheme according to our expectations. We did not find any aspect that required significant adjustments, which was a very satisfactory experience. However, we value the importance of continuous improvement, as we are aware that technology is constantly evolving and we strive to adapt and keep up with the latest developments.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We began by presenting the challenge that large companies have when calculating their carbon footprint and then, together, the necessary solution was developed to facilitate this type of process that is usually cumbersome and generates a lot of time demand. They offered us a work scheme according to our financial and time needs. Multiple deliveries were made with constant adjustments. Intermedia's proposal was to work following agile methodologies, which allowed us to constantly monitor the project and the possibility of adjusting any detail that was detected. The project had different stages, but summarizing very generally the stages were the following: 

• Capture of requirements and validation of the same with the target market. 
• UX processes 
• UI processes 
• Software development 
• Development of necessary commercial materials 
• Release to production 
• Maintenance 

The technologies used are linked to the cloud systems development area using the Javascript family. React JS was applied for the frontend and Node for the backend. Since it is a solution where Artificial Intelligence plays a fundamental role, an expert in the area was appointed and worked with different Machine Learning techniques that were implemented in the system.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project met the contract deadlines and initial tests in the test environment were successful. By working with Scrum, we were able to detect small deviations in time and form and therefore the project was delivered according to the established deadlines.

The execution of the project was agile and the agreed deadlines were met. We highlight the excellent work of the entire team. Each team member approached the challenges proactively, showing great professionalism and dedication to their work.
