I’m an administrator at Weaverville Business Association, a membership association surveying small rural communities in western North Carolina.

What challenge were you trying to address with Integritive?

We needed help with web design and maintenance.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Integritive completely revamped our website so that we could better serve the community and our users. We worked with them hand-in-hand to talk about what we wanted, and there was a lot of back and forth in order to come up exactly with what we needed.

They were responsible for integrating a membership management platform into our website, which helps us track memberships of our users and help our users track their memberships, too. Users can also communicate who they are through their profiles.

On top of that, Integritive supports our blog efforts and has integrated a calendar into our website so that our members can promote sales, events, and other activities they want to share. In turn, everything that our users share can be found by the public on our platform.  The team continues to maintain our platform.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with 3–4 people from Integritive, including Joy (Office & Service Support Manager) who always answers my questions. I’ve also worked with some folks from their helpdesk who supports us in resolving issues and answering some of my newbie problems.

How did you come to work with Integritive?

They were experts on website development, and they were local and easy to work with. We never looked anywhere else because of the previously mentioned reasons.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing collaboration started in December 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Integritive’s work is pretty critical to our organization. Due to the pandemic, our launch had to be moved aside for more pressing things like keeping memberships and figuring out how we support our memberships.

We will now be looking at our tracking and engagement statistics as we find our feet again. Most of the tracking statistics and compiling the data are going to start now as we’re really able to launch and tell existing members and new members what’s available on the website. Then, we can start utilizing tools that Integritive helped us build.

How did Integritive perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a very collaborative and positive experience with Integritive. I don’t get much reporting from them, but that’s only because but I don’t ask for it. They do get back to me right away when I submit a help desk ticket. However, I usually just email Joy when I have questions. Joy’s lovely, and she’s available when I need her.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very communicative. Whenever I need something, their turnaround is really quick.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I’d have them improve. Though I want them to refine their reporting skills, I’m still wrapping my head around what to ask from them as I’m still new in my position.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

With any service provider, especially when they’re experts in their field and you’re not, always ask questions.

I’m the general manager at American Road Magazine. We publish a quarterly travel publication about exploring America’s back roads.

What challenge were you trying to address with Integritive?

We needed a new site in order to promote our magazine, provide another resource for our readers, and assist our advertising clients in getting their message out. 

We wanted an easy-to-navigate website that has a modern, yet somewhat retro, design. Aside from that, we wanted the site to be photo-heavy because we’re a travel magazine.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Integritive designed and developed a WordPress website for us. They implemented regional trip itineraries, a locator map, and a reader response tracking system into the site and improved its event calendar feature. They also helped simplify our lead generation process.

Now, they are handling our site’s day-to-day maintenance, hosting, and SEO.

What is the team composition?

I primarily worked with their project manager, designer, and their backend team for the site’s development.

How did you come to work with Integritive?

I actually met someone from Integritive at a tourism conference. Right off the bat, they seemed very personable and experienced in web development. As it turned out, some of our advertising clients have also worked with them in the past, and they highly recommended them.

How much have you invested with them?

We paid $20,000 for the site’s design and development, and we currently spend around $9,000 a year for their ongoing SEO, site maintenance, and hosting services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2015, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We got great feedback about the site from our followers and subscribers  — they really loved the site’s itinerary feature and user-friendly UI.

How did Integritive perform from a project management standpoint?

Integritive is professional and organized — they’ve done a great job in terms of managing the project and meeting our targets.

We mainly communicate through phone calls, email, and Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Integritive is personable, easy to work with, and accommodating. I really appreciate that they treat us like their partner and not just another number on their client list. They take our concerns seriously and work hard to provide solutions to our problems. They actually listen to us, and they take and incorporate feedback very well.

We actually went with them after a bad experience with another vendor. The previous company that we worked with heavily relied on a digital project management platform, which caused a lot of communication issues. This has never been the case with Integritive — their responsiveness and willingness to just get on the phone with us and help us work through our problems has made the overall experience much better.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The initial graphic design that Integritive delivered for the site wasn’t exactly like how we envisioned it, but they quickly addressed the problem and ended up doing a really great job.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Before you start the project, you have to make sure that you know what you want for your site, whether it be specific things that you’d like to be implemented or just a general feel of what you want the site to convey. Aside from that, you should also keep open communication. This way, Integritive will be able to best meet your needs.

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a regional full-service public accounting firm providing tax, audit, and other accounting services for the Western Carolinas and Charlotte areas primarily. I am a senior manager of the tax department and the IT/market and branding manager.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Integritive?

To redesign our website from the ground up with an interface we could update easily.

What were your goals for this project?

To convey a professional image that was uncluttered, direct, clean, and versatile for updates and changes. We do not have a staff for website maintenance, so the project would be carried by one person from our side working with Integritive.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We interviewed our prior web designer for the project, as well as three referrals from other sites we found attractive and to our spec. We selected Integritive for a number of reasons: felt a good connection with the project manager, price was in line with expectations, and prior work was impressive.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Redesigned a website for a 28-person CPA firm with two offices and three distinct service lines with art assets, color schemes, layouts, and site functionality using Word Press.

What was the team composition?

One project manager and one designer, to my knowledge.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We use our website as validation of our people and credentials, and since its launch we have felt confident directing potential and current clients to our site. We have received compliments from those who remember the prior one. The new site also allows us to post news at a much easier rate than before, which we are now taking advantage of during some recent unexpected law changes.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Timelines were established in the first meeting and for the most part, each deadline and benchmark was met reasonably within that schedule. The timeline and management was in line with our expectations.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We appreciated how they were willing to handle some technical areas of the project that we would have/should have been able to handle if we had dedicated IT staff.

I can't think of any.
