We searched online and had them among other 4 shortlisted providers. Decision was based on cost, previous experience and projects and customer feedback

We had a previous version of the application developed by another company so they based their knowledge on it in addition to the written scope of work then we had design phase review and considering comments and then each milestone had its own review and recovery till we reach final acceptance and launch

Friendly and easy to reach communication with project manager and involvement of the owner (who is also with technical background) to finalize any pending task/issue and take decisions accordingly

They were disciplined and keen on delivering good quality results

Status report of each stage could be useful. Also mobile application development to support marketing requirements with social media. This area would need more improvement and experience

I was previously using another company for web hosting but it wasn’t that good.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Intcore is providing web hosting services. They help out with the development of the structure of the website. Our website is built on WordPress, and we need occasional updates on it.

How did you come to work with Intcore?

It was a recommendation from a friend who was using Intcore to host her platform. I called them, set up a meeting, and things went well.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost so far is around $3,000. We pay around $1,200 per year on hosting. The development tasks we’ve given them cost around $300 each.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Intcore in March 2019 and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Intcore has provided very good quality service. We’ve had minimal downtimes, which is something that anyone running a website is looking for. We faced a few downtimes of 3–4 hours during 2019, and they offered us a cashback of $200 at the end of the year.

Our main focus is to keep the site running, and they’re doing a great job. People are finding the site easily, which indicates that it’s up most of the time. We had dealt with two companies before Intcore, and we had this problem with them.

How did Intcore perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very responsive and keen to take our feedback. Their team always updates us about the status of the website and any improvements going on. They ask us from time to time how we feel and what they can do to improve. Intcore sends us newsletters to get us up to speed on what they’re doing. We feel confident in their company.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Compared to their competitors, Intcore is very responsive and always aims to make things clear to me. They’re not trying to take my money or play on my weak points in this area. Before they make any step, they’ll explain what the problem and solution are. They always make me feel confident in what they’re doing and want me to be on the same page as them. It’s important for any customer to not feel deceived by their partners, and this is what I’ve found with Intcore.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s not a big problem but we’ve had to wait until the early hours of the morning to get a response about an issue. This is probably because Intcore isn’t a very large company, but I think that it’d be better if they found a way to be responsive even during late hours.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I’ve recommended them to friends who asked me about web services companies. I always tell them they need to ask a lot of questions and not wait until things go down the wrong path. They have to follow up on the work and ask Intcore how things are going.

I’m the managing director of AerBag. We’re developing an application that connects car workshops to clients in a simple way. The app website is AerBag.com.

What challenge were you trying to address with Intcore?

We were working with another developer in the beginning but they did a very sloppy job. They took two years to develop an app that I was ashamed to say was mine. We brought Intcore on as our new partner.

We started with design and went into programming once the design was approved. Intcore developed the app in Flutter.

I first got in contact with Eslam (Founder & CEO). He changed the first project manager he assigned because the project was moving too slowly. The total team size is 7–8 people.

The local company I was using did a poor job. I had the budget but couldn’t find a good company I could trust. I looked around and one of my friends told me about Clutch and how I could use it to find good companies. I found Intcore this way.

I’ve spent around $20,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Intcore in June 2020, and the app took six months to develop. The collaboration is ongoing. We’re on our third project now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Intcore took our backend and created something amazing in a short time. The app is high quality and on par with any well-known gig application. I went to Intcore because I wanted that big-company touch, and they delivered.

How did Intcore perform from a project management standpoint?

They stuck to the price they quoted me in the beginning even though we added a lot of extra features to the app during development. We created two WhatsApp groups for the project, and they sent me designs through the Adobe XD website. I could put my comments there without talking to anyone, and they’d fix it directly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can pick up the phone and talk to their CEO at any time. He’ll be glad to fix any problems I’m facing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re good in terms of timing, but they could still improve. Other than that, Intcore is great.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

They’re great designers and programmers but you should know how the app should work. That was my problem in the beginning; I had an idea but didn’t know how to put it into programming.

Stage one is complete. The app is live in both iOS and Android app stores. I asked the original UK developers for their feedback. It was very positive. They were very complimentary of Intcore’s work.

The team is really good. They’re quite communicative, which makes a big difference. We have almost daily communication.

Intcore is deeply involved in the project. Each team member is there to not only do their job, but to take part in the whole process. They regularly provide fresh ideas and suggestions.

No, not that I can think of.

Try to meet them in person if at all possible. Much of their work is outsourced, but meeting them face-to-face is always preferable.
