What specific goals or objectives did you hire Inspeerity to accomplish?

• We hired Inspeerity for developing a cloud based API connected to our current system. This goal was accomplished in a few month.
• We hired Inspeerity for developing software for mobile devices. This goal was accomplished also in a few month.
• We hired Inspeerity for developing helping us stabelising our current system. This goal is ongoing and will be ongoing for much longer.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The team of developers, solution architects, testers, and business analysts from Inspeerity helped us to restructure our software department. We were not agile before working with Inspeerity but wanted to be. So besides helping us develop new features in our existing system and building new products, we restructured the whole way of developing software. Initially, we focused on stabilizing our already existing system and implementing agile work. 

We started thereafter with the development of the Cloud-based API and had the first costumer onboarded after a few month. The development is ongoing with adding more and more features and functionalities. After having the API up and running we could start with development of the mobile app as we wanted it connected already to the new API. We onboarded the first costumer with the MVP-Version of the App after three month. The development is ongoing with adding features as payment services.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Connecting new partners to our system took weeks or month, as we hardcoded it into our software code. Now, as the description of the API is openly available in the internet the partners can either connect themselves to our API or get connected with our help in less than one week (including testing etc.). In addition we are able now to adjust to the APIs of our partners without effecting other parts of the software code. 

We have onboarded until today more than 10 partners to our API. Without the team of Inspeerity this progress would have taken approximately three to four years and we managed to get there in less than one year with one third (1/3) of the team as the others are delegated to different products.

Inspeerity helped us to be able as a company to deliver on time. We see the employees of Inspeerity as our own employees. They immediately respond to our needs and they are looking continiously onto their side what they can improve.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

You do not often come across a company we probably everyone has a positive attitude, is open minded, willing to help and you would like to spend even your free time with them as they are always polite and funny and on top of it providing high professional work. We cannot complane about anything. And if we would complane, they we would find a good solution for everyone.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Inspeerity could have done differently?

No, nothing.

I’m the head of the project management office for an IT solutions firm. Our company delivers different mediation solutions within the telecommunications domain. Usually, our end customers are mobile operators. We also deliver solutions to other verticals; these other industries could be logistics, utilities, and so on.

What challenge were you trying to address with Inspeerity?

We hired them to lead a very big and important project for a mobile operator group in Europe.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Karol (COO) was working in France and was heading the delivery and handled project management. He ensured that we, as a company, were fulfilling the deliverables to the end customer. This was on configuration, documentation, and test results.

In this particular project, we were supposed to make the end customers' sales efficient. This meant that in our delivery, they were supposed to learn about our product to ensure they could take charge of the following phases and deliverables by themselves.

What is the team composition?

I only worked with Karol.

How did you come to work with Inspeerity?

We did work with Karol when he was at another company, and he did a great job. When they founded Inspeerity, we had a discussion about having him on board.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement ran from December 2018–May 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The delivery went very well. Karol did the tasks he was assigned excellently. We were measured on timelines, and this was something that Karol managed very well. We met predefined timelines. Our team was also measured on the enablement of this customer team to get them up to speed to be ready to take over from us, so that was something that was accomplished as well.

From my perspective, I was not monitoring and was in close contact with Karol. I found his ability to detect risks early on and mitigate those risks in a very structured way was something that is a big strength of his. Also, the way he managed the communication with this customer was great. The language barrier was an issue from time to time but these were obstacles that he overcame with the team.

Karol also has a very good technical foundation. He can not only understand the project management aspect of the deliverables but can also relate to what is being discussed when it comes to technical discussions. This combination of the skillsets he has when it comes to the technical part and the project management part was a good combination that helped us deliver this project.

How did Inspeerity perform from a project management standpoint?

He is someone that is very experienced in handling these kinds of technical discussions but also handling discussions with stakeholders. That is something that was pretty obvious. When it came to meeting deadlines, this was something that was well managed.

For whatever reason, if we needed to have a discussion about a particular deadline or timeline, this discussion was handled in a very professional way with the customer. This allowed us to make sure we had an agreement with the customer if any timelines were to be shifted.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re open for discussions when it comes to allocations. Sometimes, we didn’t have a need to allocate him full-time and they were willing to let Karol work a limited number of hours per day or per week. Inspeerity was very willing and easy to adjust when it came to the allocation of resources and that is something that we appreciate.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing comes to mind. There are things that can be improved, but nothing major in my view. The project was delivered and went more or less as we had foreseen and planned for. It can only be seen as a big success. One of the big contributors to this big success is Karol and Inspeerity.

They’re a professional company that has really good resources, and I’d highly recommend them.
