Team Inserito has developed a WordPress-based main shopping website and an Admin Panel with a centralized user mobile application on MERN Stack. The project started with discovery sessions leading to the designs of the application. Inserito first properly understands the business challenges. Then, the team submitted a comprehensive Project Management Plan document. They completed the entire project in 2 months. For better communication, the team scheduled a weekly Syncup meeting, so the Business and the team are always up to date. Team Inserito followed the Agile methodology.

I worked with 3 main people, a Project Manager, Customer Success Manager, and a Lead Developer. I presume more junior developers were also part of the process, but I always communicated with the Lead Dev / Project manager

Although the project dragged out later than expected, due to functionality changes on our end - the final deliverables have accomplished the goal of reducing the customer and back-office workload when interacting with out platforms. both customers and staff are happy with the development work done

Project management was well handled, with timeline breakdowns per major unit - and consistent response to inquiries and changes alongside weekly meetings on MS Teams

Thus far we are very happy with the work done

We needed a more robust website by migrating from Magento to NetSuite, so we wanted a provider with the experience to mirror our old site into the new one.

Inserito Technologies did web development and design for us from scratch; NetSuite is our accounting program. We found out we could connect that to our site to make it easier to run transactions and access the front- and backend in the same program.

Everything’s on point with project management. They’ve always made themselves available through emails, Zoom, and phone calls. They’re also transparent and have regular meetings with me to have open discussions and see how the project is progressing.

In terms of tools, we also use Basecamp.

They’re responsive to our requests — they get back to us within the same day.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — I’m delighted with their work and how they communicate with me clearly.

I am the Marketing Director of Rattan House, we are one of the largest outdoor furniture suppliers in Dubai with showrooms across the GCC region including, Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman with our factory in Indonesia.

We first hired Inserito back in 2018 when we first wanted to transform our website into eCommerce platform, it was initially built using the Magento platform. Since we had many showrooms across the GCC region, our challenge was to achieve eCommerce functionality within UAE only. UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi) was the only country we wanted to explore the eCommerce market considering our products are high value they are mostly sold physically where customers prefer to experience the products in person before they buy it.

During the pandemic, we wanted to rebuild the eCommerce platform using WordPress/ WooCommerce with a fresh look, so naturally, we chose Inserito again considering our experience working with them earlier, and ever since Inserito is like part of our internal team in managing the day-to-day updates of our eCommerce store.

Based on the company policy all the vendors are selected with a procurement process of our procurement team with the criteria based on which company provides the most value and at the same time competitive pricing, Inserito was selected based on the same criteria where we choose them knowing they are locally available, their capabilities and with the exceptional support we received from them we hired them for the second iteration of the eCommerce rebuild.

The goal was to achieve an eCommerce store that achieves our objective to target the UAE market only hence Inserito was able to achieve it by using Geo IP restriction of prices. The scope included integrating with the Payment gateways which was another area where Inserito helped us decide by working with us to negotiate with payment service providers and be part of the interview process where we selected Paytabs and ever since we are using them.

The process started with an initial design and the website was developed in WooCommerce considering we wanted the store to be easy to manage. Inserito also helped us with the tedious task of adding products to our store migrating them from Magento which is a completely different platform hence saving us a manual effort to upload products again to the new website one by one.

During the project execution, the Inserito team had a project coordinator, a designer and a developer. Once the project was delivered we started a managed service contract with Inserito to assist us with day-to-day updates to our eCommerce platform.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our eCommerce store ranks in the 2nd position in most of the keywords related to outdoor furniture, thanks to Inserito's professional approach to building the store that is SEO friendly and the managed service contract helped us with continuous improvement. Out of all the traffic sources of our website, organic traffic is the major traffic source where we get on our website visits. The user experience of the eCommerce store is very good based on the feedback we receive from our customers and even our competitors are trying to replicate our style.

Our management style is mostly traditional where the management prefers the team to be physically available at the premise to ensure there are no communication gaps and deliverables are up to the mark Inserito was able to accommodate this request by providing an onsite project coordinator that helped us in providing feedback at every stage of project delivery. Besides that, we were in touch directly with their team via JIRA and a WhatsApp group for quick resolution of tasks. The initial project was delivered within 6 weeks of the kickoff and now we are in a managed service contract with Inserito.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive part was the stage when we needed our products to be added to the new eCommerce platfrom the Inserito team from Inserito went above and beyond to migrate the products and ensured the launch of the store happened on time. Their team is flexible to accommodate all our requests patiently and to date, they are always recommended and they suggest new ways to improve our store and ensure all the minor details are taken care of without us pointing them out.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They are professional in their approach and they have processes in place that make things easy. With regards to improvements, Inserito keeps pushing us for getting better, I cannot think of anything better they can do better for us at this point.

They initially created a draft mock-up design and after approval they developed the website. Over the years I have new properties added and some properties removed and they developed a backend that allows my staff to manage all properties which saves administration cost. They trained the staff on how to use the backend. The deliverables were on time with some delay caused by new requests.

They dedicated a resource for me so most of the and provided multiple modes of communication, through email, phone, WhatsApp and personal visits. They offered to a some project management tool but I prefer communicating on WhatsApp which is easier for me.

They always made themselves available and did a lot of research on my industry to help grow my business. At times I required urgent action and they have always been prompt.

Sometimes the requested updates required more than one attempt to complete. Other than that, I am quite pleased with their performance.

Inserito spent their initial time scoping out our requirements in great detail and then worked with us in charting out the sprints required to complete the work. Following that we organised weekly check-ins to ensure we are on top of everything.

Inserito's team was able to mobilise and deliver on the tasks that were critical to our requirements.

They had weekly check-ins, as well as a WhatsApp group for tandem communications to keep us apprised of updates, challenges or queries outside our normal check-in call. Their SCRUM master groomed the tickets and created a workflow that ensured we had work in the right sequence.

We were impressed with their can-do attitude and solution-orientedness. No fluff talk.

Project accounting can be made better in terms of dynamic reporting. We'd have loved to see proactive reporting on hour draw down instead of asking for it.

We were introduced to the vendor through word of mouth. Once we started discussing the project, the team were very keen, and professional in their approach. They even managed to change time tables to suit my busy schedule.

There was 1 main point of contact, however during meetings there between 3 to 4 resources working on the project asking questions and takin notes.

The project works perfectly, except a few delays from our end, and nothing to do with the team, and their provision of services. They continuously contact us on a weekly basis to make sure we don't have any problems, and that our services are running accordingly.

Project management was a breeze. I could not fault the guys with their management skills. One point of contact, however various resources. All followed a Hierarchy of reporting to the one person, who in turn understood the factors of requirement, and managed to explain it in a great manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The company provided tailored solution with meeting times suitable to my needs, and schedule. I never heard the words "NO" or "Cant be done". Even when we asked them for a certain feature, there are times they stated it was an easy fix, and it would be done without an extra cost. Although I never followed up regarding reports, they were always very professional in their approach and maintained a point of communication. At n o stage did I feel I was alone.

The only improvement I would recommend is for the team to go global and grow. they deserve all the very best, and are a team that deserves all the success they seek.

We hired Inserito Technologies to develop a mobile app whose main objective was to act as an online secure and authentic CV for professionals where a time capture of their career progression is continuously being confirmed and updated. The app also serves as digital business card wallet where the cards are strictly issued by the business administrator and can be cancelled promptly when an employee is no longer employed preventing fraudulent activity in the name of the business.

The card can be easily shared in big meetings instantly and without the need to carry many cards. The card being digitized is environmentally friendly. The card is cost-effective vs issuing and sending cards to employees in a large business. The user can also live track their work history as it collects cards and start-finish dates with employers.

Inserito Technologies was introduced by one of their existing customers and therefore they were referenceable, after connecting with them I liked their approach from providing strategic advice, requirement gathering, design experience and focus on quality. Inserito also manages cloud-based infrastructure (Azure) where the app is hosted and are managing the app overall for me.
