InnovatorSpark provided Team extension services with a solid Dutch PHP developer for the existing in-house PHP team to fill skill gaps, timely MVP and to scale up quickly, for maintenance work and for accessing specialized expertise for this project. The developer had to integrate with the team and work closely with them. Working both remotely and sometimes on-site in the Netherlands as a seamless extension of the existing workforce. Providing flexibility. For this project we needed a Dutch senior PHP developer with extensive Laravel and Vue.js experience.

Maintaining quality and project momentum. Learning fast and integrating in the team smoothly. Working towards a quick MVP. Strong communication and independent worker with the ability to think along and find solutions, feeling a sense of ownership.

InnovatorSpark’s project management was structured and transparent. They consistently delivered their items on time and kept us well informed throughout the process. Whenever we had new requirements or needed additional support, they responded quickly and proactively. The assigned developer actively thought along, took ownership, and independently provided solutions, which helped us achieve our MVP without delays and scale efficiently afterward.

InnovatorSpark has done all the automation within the CRM, including workflows and telephone automation. For example, they've set up a system to track calls within the CRM and send automated emails when someone fills out a form.

I’m the CTO of Avel Technologies, responsible for defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and ensuring we deliver a user-friendly solution. I managed the collaboration with InnovatorSpark from discovery through development.

What challenge were you trying to address with InnovatorSpark?

We needed a reliable partner to design and build a cyber security–themed web and mobile application from concept to implementation, including a scalable architecture, strong UX, and end-to-end delivery.

What was the scope of their involvement?

InnovatorSpark handled end-to-end delivery across web and mobile. Their scope included discovery and design support (mock-ups, user flows, and requirements refinement), front-end development for the web app in React and the mobile app in React Native, backend work in Python, database setup, third-party integrations, testing/QA, and ongoing project management.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 2–5 teammates from InnovatorSpark.

How did you come to work with InnovatorSpark?

We evaluated a few development partners and selected InnovatorSpark based on their strong communication, relevant technical experience (React, React Native, and Python), and their ability to take ownership of discovery through delivery.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Because the application hasn’t launched yet, the impact is best shown in delivery outcomes: we moved from a high-level concept to a working web and mobile product with the core features implemented, the database structure in place, and multiple third-party integrations successfully connected. We also have a clearer technical roadmap and significantly reduced uncertainty around architecture and integrations thanks to their discovery and design process.

How did InnovatorSpark perform from a project management standpoint?

InnovatorSpark performed very well from a project management standpoint. They ran a structured discovery phase, translated our vision into clear requirements and mock-ups, and then managed delivery in an organized, transparent way. Communication was consistent, progress was easy to track, and they were proactive about risks—especially around third-party integrations—bringing options and recommendations rather than just highlighting problems. Overall, they kept the project moving smoothly and aligned stakeholders effectively. We communicated via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What impressed me most was their ownership and attention to detail. They don’t just implement what we ask for; they challenge assumptions, propose better solutions, and stay proactive, especially around complex third-party integrations. Their communication was consistently clear, and it genuinely felt like they were invested in the product’s success.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No real concerns—just keep in mind they’re more ‘quality-focused’ than ‘budget-focused.’
