I’m the CEO of an IT services firm that is my side project, which is currently in stealth mode. I won’t be able to communicate about what my business does yet.

What challenge were you trying to address with Indra Crypto Capital?

We hired Indra Crypto Capital to build a decentralized network using the Ethereum blockchain for computational services related to cloud services. There will be a private channel for our higher-cost clients and a public channel for our more cost-sensitive consumers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Indra Crypto Capital helped to architect our overall solution and then execute upon it. This included writing code and using Ethereum smart contracts, Python, Django, C++ worker nodes, and RabbitMQ for messaging. Based on their consulting, we picked these platforms.

They built the entire first version of the framework, dockerizing everything, so it was a quick install.

There were 1–2 people working with me.

A friend introduced me to them. I quickly realized they were the best fit for the project.

How much have you invested with them?

Investment is near $100,000, now.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in June 2018, and the project is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re running alpha tests right now. They got us to the stage that I can approach large companies selling them on the ability to use our services. That’s a pretty big accomplishment, given the complexity of the project. They captured my vision.

How did Indra Crypto Capital perform from a project management standpoint?

Performing very well, they set firm objectives, delivered on timelines, and the product they made is solid, neat, and efficient. They’re very adaptable and speedily executed upon our goals.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were able to come up with comprehensive plans ahead of time. That was pretty unique, and I appreciated their whole approach to planning and execution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing comes to mind.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come in with a firm vision of what you hope to accomplish. We had a lot of changes along the way, but that was because I didn’t set my goals clearly.

We hired Gautam to help us with Video transcoding, Ad stitching and building an Ad platform for our Podcasting software.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals for this project was to build a self-serve Ad campaign portal and a high throughput Ad server to push Video ads into iTunes videos.

Gautam and his team helped us with Media stitching of Video Ads into content, building the first version of our Ad server and Campaign pacing engine as well as our Ad campaign portal for advertisers. They were also instrumental in building an Analytics SDK in our client agent software.

What was the team composition?

Gautam - Technical Lead. Team: Media engineer (Windows SDK C++), Ad server engineer (Linux, C++, RabbitMQ, POCO), Pacing engine developer (C++, RabbitMQ, POCO) and Self-server Ad campaign UI developer (PHP)

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This was a full suite of Ad products for Podcasts that helped us close deals with numerous Media publishers and advertisers. Significant bottom line impact.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

All the communication and project management was handled by our technical lead. The onshore team here worked directly with Gautam's developers as the project required close coordination between various parts.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Superlative technical skills, architecture, big picture thinking and vision.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not really. There were delays in the project that were totally out of our and their control as a result of having to integrate our Ad serving system with 3rd parties.

CTO / Cofounder. Viralheat is a social media management platform for businesses that offers monitoring, publishing, and analytics in one intuitive interface.

For what projects/services did your company hire Indra Crypto Capital?

Gautam and his team were instrumental part of buidling the backbone of the technology stack at our startup Viralheat. The team wrote some of the key components of our stack including an analytics engine over Twitter firehose data and were instrumental in getting our startup funded in the early days.

What were your goals for this project?

We had a few key parts of infrastructure that we needed to build in order to complete our proof-of-concept and get funded. Gautam and his team came in and accelerated this process in a large way.

How did you select this vendor?

I knew Gautam personally and wanted to hire him for our team, but when I learned that he had started his own firm, we decided to engage with him and his team asap.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

One of the projects involved managing the large amound of data coming in from Twitter, performing a quick analysis on them, managing the scale and building and analytics engine on top of that. Gautam and team were also instrumental in helping with various parts of our product whether it involved C++, Ruby-on-Rails or Angular.js

Gautam led the projects. There were also C++ engineers, Ruby-on-Rails devs, DevOps engineers and Angular UI developers on the team.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The work that Gautam and team did was instrumental in helping our product launch and for us to raise a round of funding.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The Viralheat and Gautam's team were managed within a single project management system where we had pretty deep visibility into who was working on what and to shuffle things around if they needed to be re-prioritized. This worked out quite well and was very important to us to organize that way as we like being hands-on. . The design and architecture of the systems were left to Gautam to determine and we trusted his judgement on that.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They go the extra mile. Always providing services over and above expectations. Taking ownership of the product. Thinking about future growth while designing today's systems. Gautam even provided mentorship to our team along the way.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing I can think of. Excellent team to have on a long haul project.

How did you select this vendor?

Gautam and his team were recommended by a close advisor to our project, an engineer whose advice we put great trust in. We started with small project and were pleased with the level of professionalism, execution quality, speed and overall value. After the initial small project (<10k), we decided to move forward with a substantially larger one.

We had a number of initiatives ranging from getting our FAB token and supporting infrastructure (Time lock contracts, Timed token release) ready for our Initial Exchange Offering. We also wanted to build a demo of a Social networking app on iOS in time for our launch to demo to a South korean investor crowd.

We also wanted to stand up and modify our own version of the EOS blockchain and experiment with it by tweaking their Consensys algorithm and blockchain structures. Gautam and the team at Indra Crypto Capital helped us with all of these initiatives with Crypto Advisory, Software Development and Testing services.

What was the team composition?

The team comprised of Gautam as the team lead, a C++ EOS developer, a Python Flask dev and Ethereum smart contract developers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We were able to successfully conduct our Initial Exchange Offering in Korea and also Demo the app as we had planned. Gautam and his team covered us completely on the Software development side of these initiatives.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

My main point of contact was Gautam and he managed the project, the team and the delivery of final product to me. This proved extremely effective and allowed me to focus on big picture stuff and all the other initiatives we had going on the Whitepaper, Tokenomics, Research and Machine learning side of things.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They executed all of the projects really well, with minimal direction, taking full ownership of the work product and put in the extra effort to make sure we never missed sometimes unrealistic deadlines imposed upon us by our Exchange partners. Their availability for meetings and calls was quite amazing given the Time Zone differences.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I do not see any major areas for improvement. I just hope that they keep their skills sharpened as the Blockchain space tends to move fast and evolve as do our development requirements.

Founder / CEO. Phuketdirect and Findingdirect are travel portals to Thailand esp Phuket and Bangkok where people can book Villas, Hotels, Airlines, Cars and Activities. It aims to be like the Air BnB of Thailand.

I hired Gautam and his team at ICC to rebuild the website from scratch.

What were your goals for this project?

I was not happy with the quality of the websites and I wanted them redesigned with a fresh look and tech stack. I also had certain initiatives and business goals that my development team was not addressing and I wanted to get them addresses in a bid to drum up more business, Q2 2020 onwards.

Gautam was recommended to me by a friend and after the first phone call I knew he was he was very knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic about the project. He gave great advise and feedback and made sure I didn't make the wrong decision when came to planning the project.

Gautam and his team provided Graphic design, as well as Frontend (Vue.js) and Backend(Laravel PHP) development for the findingdirect and phuketdirect websites. This is credited to Gautam on pointing me in the write direction and couldn't be any happier listening to him. His expertise is what saved my project.

My main point of contact was Gautam. Other than that there was a Graphics Designer, a Frontend (Vue.js) developer and a Backend developer (Laravel PHP)

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The website still under development and is progressing along quite well. However, I can already tell the difference as I'm able to communicate my business and feature goals with Gautam effectively and he is very good at converting those into results.Gautam solutions, timelines, and breakdowns of the project were not only accurate and clear, it's almost unheard of in this field. Their honesty regarding any matters or issues about the project is impeccable.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I prefer to communicate big picture / vision goals with Gautam and do so via email. Internally, I believe Gautam and his team use Trello and Telegram for communication. He passes pages and works-in-progress for review to me and incorporates my feedback into the designs. This has worked quite well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They really take ownership over the project and treat it like it's their own. We ran into issues with Malware, Email and other related Wordpress properties. Gautam and his team were able to step in, troubleshoot and resolve all of these issues while keeping the rest of the project on track and I"m not talking days or weeks, he solves issues in a matter of hours (depending on the issue). I've had some serious issues too and Gautam really tackled the issue almost immediately.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Honestly NO! I really cannot think of anything. Everything from communication, to execution, delivery and project management has been excellent.
