Our goal for this project was to improve email channel performance and rebuild momentum after a soft first half of the year. While overall YTD revenue is slightly down versus the previous year, Inbox Army played a clear role in reversing that trend and driving a strong late-year turnaround.

Key measurable outcomes include:

• Significant YoY improvement in Q4 performance:
  Email revenue for November MTD is tracking +50% YoY via GA4 data, with stronger session engagement and higher ecommerce purchase volume compared to the same period last year.
• Strong audience growth:
  Total email recipients increased 56% YoY, driven by consistent campaign sending and improved list capture.
• Higher engagement at scale:
  Open rates improved +10% YoY, even as volume increased substantially, indicating subject line + creative improvements resonated with subscribers.
• Stabilization after early-year decline:

One opportunity for improvement is bringing even more consistency and data-alignment into our overall email program. Our day-to-day collaboration is strong and very execution focused, but we don’t always slow down to look at performance trends or creative testing insights together. Building a more proactive rhythm around data, learnings, and long-term strategy would help us keep growing and ensure our design and messaging continue moving in the right direction.

The other area is visual cohesion across all touchpoints. Our daily campaigns are strong and very on-brand, but some of the automated flows still use older or less aligned styling. As our brand evolves, keeping flows updated so everything feels unified would create an even stronger customer experience.

These are not criticisms, just natural next steps as our partnership continues to level up - the team has always been responsive, collaborative, and genuinely committed to our brand’s success.

After launching our campaign, we discovered a few issues which we enlisted Inbox Army to assist with - including a deliverability audit to examine if our emails were landing in users spam folders, a warm-up to fix our domain health issues, and to use re-start our email campaigns using the updated domain and deliverability components. Inbox Army delivered on each aspect of these deliverables in a professional, timely, and thorough manner.

And instead of us telling them what to do, we were confidently guided every step of the way, regardless of if it was the design of the email or the strategy around a launch. The project manager and strategic account director were very responsive, and they professionally and gently pushed us to be better all the time, the creative director put his heart and soul into delivering a premium, updated look and feel, as well as usability, to our emails, and the rest of the team were equally amazing. 

I highly recommend this email marketing agency for their exceptional ability to elevate our email marketing strategies, design, and metrics, while maintaining professionalism in meetings and consistently delivering outstanding results.

Our email process runs much more efficiently, and with IA handling the implementation we're able to focus more on higher level strategy details. IA also helps troubleshoot when problems arise. For example we had an issue with images not loading in emails, and IA worked hard to find the solution when other resources gave up.
