I am the CEO of Activate Human Capital Group. We run engagement programs and training to help companies fully engage their employees and customers.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Evolve Impact Group?

We rebranded as a new company and engaged them to help our marketing efforts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The project started with my website, which they built from one of their templates. They’re continually building it out and making changes as we get input from online users. Now that the site is complete, they handle my entire social platform, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts. They write blog articles, help me develop content and graphics, and do daily posts on all our accounts. They also manage my Google Ads and a lot of print media for us. I use Pinterest as a thought board, and they build out ideas from there.

We work together on a regular basis, but they understand my business well enough to work on their own. I interact with them to make sure our blog posts reflect the messaging we want to put out, but they do about 99% of the work. Most of their involvement is currently text-based, but we plan to add pictures and video to their future content creation.

What is the team composition?

I have daily contact with their digital marketing manager.

How did you come to work with Evolve Impact Group?

They were close friends of mine before they started their business. When I was in the position to hire them, I approached them as part of my sales and marketing strategy.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $16,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2018 to build the website and started the social campaign in January 2019. The collaboration is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since engaging them, I’ve recruited a high-level sales rep, been asked to speak at a leadership conference for 100 different company executives, and I have a few good leads in development. We’ve had a few happy accidents, and all the results have been impactful so far.

How did Evolve Impact Group perform from a project management standpoint?

They're exceptional project managers. We get weekly status reports and communicate mostly through email and text. If I’m teaching a class or working with a group, I will send photos or information to our contact. She’ll find the best time and place to post them and create activity.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm crazy about the people. They ensure our success, and I’m very happy with their output. I don’t work very much with my friends who started the company, but they built a team that reflects who they are. They’ve created something really special, and they’re doing good work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I can think of. If anything were to come up, I know I could address it, and they'd do what I asked. I have total confidence in them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them a chance to show what they can do, and allow them a few months to build your entire package. That way, you won’t hamstring their efforts to market your business.

Trinity Training and Development provides training solutions for companies in the areas of leadership, teamwork, and communication. In addition to delivering training in the US and Canada, our company develops and sells leadership development training nationally.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Evolve Impact Group? 

We initially hired Evolve to do the graphic redesign of our Front Line Leadership program. We had recently completed a major revision and wanted to develop a clear branding strategy for marketing. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Evolve Impact Group was initially engaged to provide the design and branding for the product. The first step was the design of a unique logo. Next, they updated over 300 pages of content and 300 PowerPoint slides.

Based on the quality work they did, we moved ahead to work with them on a complete digital marketing plan that involved website design, SEO, Google Ads, and blog writing. Finally, we turned over to them all of the printing of our materials, promotional pieces, and facilitator support material.  

What is the team composition?

Becky Chumley (CMO, Evolve Impact Group) and Kevin Crenshaw (CEO, Evolve Impact Group) are our direct points of contact for developing strategy and moving our product forward. Andrew (Sales Consultant, Evolve Impact Group) is our liaison when managing the logisitics of print orders.

How did you come to work with Evolve Impact Group? 

I was referred to them by a colleague. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around $15,000–$20,000 to do the initial design and website. In addition, we spent over $85,000 in 2018 for printing and other projects such as blog writing and SEO.

What is the status of this engagement? 

We started working together around February 2017 and the website was officially launched in October 2017. We are still actively working with them in 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Their impact was tremendous. We have attempted to do digital marketing with other vendors, but the ROI was minimal. In 2018 alone, we have seen an ROI that was 3–4 times the initial investment of $105,000 for all of our work with them. We estimate that we received over $400,000 in sales in 2018 and have already booked $90,000 for 2019.

How did Evolve Impact Group perform from a project management standpoint? 

Their team is absolutely flawless. They're organized and professional, are excellent in listening to and responding to needs, and deliver consistently in what they have done for us. Every member of their staff provides the highest level of customer service, commitment to quality, and follow-through on requests. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

Everything they've done for us—from printing to web design, product design, and digital marketing—is consistently excellent. I've never worked with a vendor that has ever performed to the level they do. It's quite rare. Kevin and Becky have a highly competent team that delivers. 

Are there any areas they could improve? 

I can't think of anything. ​

Evolve should be the first place people go to when exploring digital and print marketing services. Customers will find that Evolve is a company that listens closely to the needs of the client, provides high-quality services at a competitive price, and delivers more than is expected. They are by far the best in the business.
