immence is very good at determining the scope of any project (we have done over 7 micro projects). They have completed every project on time or within the estimated time frame. Immence always gave me advance notification if we made changes to a project that had the potential for creep.

Other times, immence would give us ideas or solutions that would give us a technological advantage, increase our efficiency, or help us manage our time better.

We used Jira to correctly manage many projects/modules, and we normally scope our sprints with the Project Manager and analysts, then work directly with Developers to execute the sprints.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I like the top down management and access to all members on the team. Collaboration with Amit and immence team. I liked their ability to ramp up quickly if we have a deadline or need additional resources.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For what projects/services did your company hire Immence, and what were your goals?

The last version of our version was pretty outdated, slow and very hard to navigate through. As our web application is used by over 9,000+ students and faculty, our 2 main goals were the website to be easy to navigate and to not lag to give everyone an optimum experience.

Another big challenge was our faculty does not have any technical background so if in future there are any changes in the facility or the services we provide we didn't want to deal with any backend code, so a user friendly front end to customise accessibility would have been a plus.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

For the process of our selection we started with asking our shortlisted companies for their quotes and their background or previous work in the field.

After which we shortlisted immence and one other company which fit our budget and project expectations.

Then immence's sales put forward their presentation as how they would approach with building the application to target our main concerns and what other additions would be good for our application

Our project was delivered in prototype phasing where our faculty was provided with 3 prototypes before launching the final application. So, that more and more functionalities can be added throughout every step of prototyping. I application made using .Net Core and .Net framework and our front end uses react to give best experience.

Our experience started with the sales team of the vendor who were very friendly yet professional. Other main point of contact the project manager who lead our project and 3 other dveelopers out of which one was a designer and others were UI/UX developer and the guy who worked on the backend

With the new website, student find it very easy to navigate through the website and it a very good overall experience. Even for our faculty it has become very easy to handle the bookings and check the use of the facilities we provide.

In the beginning of the project their manager designed the flow in which the applicartion would be developed. We had conversation with them 2 times every week to check on the updated and we were delivered with new prototype every third week for our testing of the newly added functionalities. Out main source of communication was Email.

The best part was the team consistently delivered beyond our expectations with the suggestions on what additions we can make to our web application to improve it's functionality and make life easier for us.

The team was very professional so they were able to come up with best solutions througout the process of development, so any concerns that we had were all dealt with very quickly.

I’m the director of an export and import services company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Immence?

We needed someone to develop our mobile app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Immence developed our mobile app. First, they came to my office, we discussed the project, and they provided the best solution.

This app allows us to track the record of every employee in our company. On my phone, I can easily check which employees have been present and which haven’t. Additionally, I can see what particular day they have absence permission.

After that project, Immence helped me improve my website and suggested translating it into 15–20 languages in order to expand my business. Currently, they’re working on another project for me; they’re developing an import/export website that will expand my business to multiple countries.

What is the team composition?

We communicate directly with Immence’s CEO. We also work with a team of theirs led by a project manager. Some of them are working on website maintenance, and others are working on a hardware-software integration. In total, we’ve worked with 9–10 people from their team.

How did you come to work with Immence?

I met Immence at an event in India. Additionally, the CEO is one of my relative’s cousins. After I met with him and described my problem, he was able to come up with a solution quickly.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $120,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The app that Immence has built for us works seamlessly — I’m impressed with their work. 2000+ employees are now using it, and they’re all very satisfied with it. Before having this app, a single person had to manage the entry of every employee. Now, the employees themselves can register and see their check-ins and check-outs on their mobile phones. Additionally, this product has allowed us to keep a perfect record of their time.

How did Immence perform from a project management standpoint?

Immence’s project manager explains everything to me very well, and he always comes up with better ideas than mine due to their technical expertise. Additionally, they’re very available, and they support us very well, easily explaining the app to my employees. We communicate via WhatsApp and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Immence’s communication is excellent, and they always strive to solve our problems. Furthermore, they’re very supportive. For example, if one of our staff members doesn’t understand the app, they call him personally to explain.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would have been helpful if Immence had come into my life sooner.
