I'm the CEO and founder of a real estate development and construction company based in the UK with branches in Dubai, France, North Africa, and Lebanon. We recently started the process of opening a branch in the US, too.

What challenge were you trying to address with Icetulip?

The first project we worked on with Icetulip was to develop our company profile and website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have a long working relationship with Icetulip, dating back over 22 years. The team first developed our company profile and website. The latest project we've worked on with Icetulip has been creating five company profiles in Addis Ababa. The team has also created the marketing strategy for each company to define how we can penetrate the market. The team has visited Addis Ababa thrice to check on the ground and determine how to promote ourselves. 

Icetulip started by gathering and organizing the data we received from their developers. The team sent us a questionnaire with over 50 questions to fill out. After that, Icetulip created a draft of our marketing strategy. The team analyzed our competitors and our contribution to the market. Icetulip provided a SWOT analysis of how we could do the right marketing campaign for our project.

Icetulip has supported our marketing campaign on different outlets, including radio and magazines. We've also organized an event with over 10,000 people, and Icetulip had the idea to make a 3D-printed model.

What is the team composition?

We work with 12–15 teammates from Icetulip, including a graphic designer, a programmer, and two teammates who organized our event. Other teammates have worked on the ground to complete the marketing strategy report.

How did you come to work with Icetulip?

I was close to Daniela (Creative Director) and Nicolas (Managing Director). I've been working with Icetulip since they started the company.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $100,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2002, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Icetulip's work meets our expectations. We've succeeded in selling our flats and shops, reaching our goal. During our event in Addis Ababa, we had more than 20 people from London and sold more than 2000 units in one day. Icetulip is responsible for around 50% of our profits and has done a great job finding our competitors. 

How did Icetulip perform from a project management standpoint?

We collaborate with Icetulip via WhatsApp, Zoom meetings, and phone calls. The team has also come to Addis Ababa three times for this project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Icetulip's creativity is impressive. I'll always give the team business opportunities and aim to make deals with them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything for the team to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I suggest giving Icetulip all the necessary data and letting them work. Please don't say no to the team's suggestions because they have all the ingredients to do their best to promote your project and work. I advise listening to Icetulip and letting them work on their expertise.

I'm part of the marketing team of a dental clinic. I'm the content creator, and my partner is the marketing manager.

What challenge were you trying to address with Icetulip?

We wanted to revamp our website because it was very outdated. We had recently changed our brand guidelines, so we also wanted to update our website's overall look. Our former website was very slow. Therefore, we also wanted to improve its performance.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Icetulip is helping us develop a new website. They've already completed the design using Figma, but the development is still ongoing. We've provided them with our brand guidelines, so they've tailored the website based on them. These brand guidelines include our color scheme, font, and details about our clinic and our services.

We've also provided Icetulip with materials for our website, including content that details our services and doctors. This content has been translated from Arabic to English as well.

We work with three teammates from Icetulip, including Nicolas (Managing Director) and two designers.

How did you come to work with Icetulip?

Icetulip had worked for another clinic here in Kuwait. When we reached out to that clinic to ask who had done their website, they referred us to Icetulip.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've only seen our website's design so far, but it is very good. The new design has met the expectations of our management team. Unfortunately, I can't provide more comprehensive feedback because the project hasn't been completed yet. Once the project is complete, we wouldn't mind leaving another review to provide actual numbers based on performance.

How did Icetulip perform from a project management standpoint?

We've followed up with Icetulip quite often. Throughout the design process, we had several meetings with them, which was very professional. Overall, they're doing a wonderful job project management-wise. We have Nicolas' phone number, so we've been in direct contact with him. He's very responsive and responds within minutes of us reaching out to him.

We've also had about four Zoom meetings with Icetulip so they can hear our feedback. The team is very accommodating to changes as well. We wanted to change a couple of things in the design, and the experience of doing so was very pleasing.

Icetulip's teammate in charge of designing the look of the website deserves a huge shout-out.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Icetulip has exceeded our expectations so far. They're very accommodating to all of our requests.

I have no negative comments about Icetulip.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Find a content writer and a translator on your own if needed to reduce the project timeline. We took about two weeks to write all the content, and we thought that Icetulip would do the translation. However, we had to do it ourselves as well, so it took us more time.

Icetulip provides us with design work and booking of the campaigns on social media platforms. The team also provides performance metrics and campaign reports.
