What challenge were you trying to address with i4 Consulting Pvt Ltd?

We needed someone to develop our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

i4 Consulting Pvt Ltd developed our website and app for iOS and Android. I only gave them a bare idea of how the site and app should look. We did a bit of brainstorming with Hitesh (Director, i4 Consulting Pvt Ltd). His team came up with the sketches and wireframes. They did a proof of concept (POC), and then we gave them a few other websites to provide them with an idea of how we wanted our site to look. 

They did everything. The team created an admin panel on the site’s backend, where I can see exactly what’s happening. They also added a search functionality and made it possible for users to register themselves.

I work with 4–5 people.

They asked the right questions. They weren’t too hungry for money but wanted to make a solution and create more value for us.

How much have you invested with them?

My company has spent $250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2019, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Once they built the MVP, I showed it to investors and received a fair bit of investments. Based on the way that i4 Consulting Pvt Ltd built the MVP, I was able to get $1 million for 10% of the business. It’s been very positive.

How did i4 Consulting Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

We set the expectations at the beginning and chose the dates and the milestones. Every time we missed a deadline, we went back and reassessed. It was wrapped up pretty nicely. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They work during our time. They’re available when I need them, despite the time difference; this sets them apart from everyone else.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, they take time off for festivals. This occasionally keeps us from progressing, but they make up for it in later stages.

I’m the owner of Cretansoft Technologies. We’re a systems integrator and a web developer.

What challenge were you trying to address with i4 Consulting?

We were handling the e-commerce business of a client, and we needed to build a mobile application. We contracted with i4 Consulting for the development of the application, along with web services.

We are also developing a separate real estate e-commerce website and mobile application using their team.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

i4 Consulting designed and developed a cross-platform application for Android, iOS, and Windows. We have three panels—for customers, vendors, and admins. There is a unified platform for all three operating-system versions of the app, where we are able to see customer transactions and apply discounts. Users can buy and sell their products on the platform.

The real estate website will be a classifieds platform for buying and selling properties. We’re developing it as our own product.

How did you come to work with i4 Consulting?

I became aware of i4 Consulting through a colleague. We considered local vendors during the decision process, but i4 was more thorough it is documentation. They provided reasonable timelines and cost estimates.

How much have you invested with them?

The development cost of the e-commerce platform was around $20,000. The project cost of the real estate platform is also $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with i4 Consulting in April 2018. The real estate platform is set to complete by the end of the year, but the e-commerce application launched in May 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re still gathering feedback for the e-commerce application. We have more than 10,000 users in the U.A.E., and we will need at least one month to gather all the feedback around the functionality of the app and its user-friendliness. The app worked well during internal testing.

How did i4 Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

They have an agreeable customer service approach. That was the deciding factor that convinced me to engage with i4 for this project. Their timelines were accurate, and we appreciated their payment flexibility.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve taken our headaches away, which is the most important thing. We gave them a structure of what we wanted, and they delivered a product based on that, taking our feedback into consideration the whole time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could reduce development time by increasing their team size. That would give i4 a very nice edge on the market.
