When I first joined my role, I’d left a company that was working with some pretty sophisticated technologies into a paper-heavy industry that was antiquated. Our operations were so labor-intensive, so I wanted a partner who could find a way to streamline our processes by applying a digital solution. It’s a large, high-level system that’s geared specifically to us. **SOLUTION** What was the scope of their involvement?  I-Tul has developed a custom workflow management system that facilitates our processing, management, and organization. The goal is to have something that’s cloud-based and scalable so that we can expand our business. They’ve come up with a PHP solution that not only deals with internal workflows but also helps us keep track of and process our customer’s documents efficiently. On the backend, they’ve integrated automated billing capabilities by connecting the solution to QuickBooks and other software.  We’ve done a lot of XML API connections, too, and the solution can even pull in data within specific jurisdictions to facilitate document processing. For example, if we’re filing a document in Louisiana, the system can walk the user through the process step by step. Finally, we can communicate to clients or vendors through the auto-attach feature on our orders. I-Tul continues to tailor the solution to meet our needs and regularly maintain it. What is the team composition?  I deal with both Amanda (Founder) and Clint (President) on an ongoing basis. They’ve also designated a couple of developers for my project. How did you come to work with I-Tul Design & Software, Inc.? I found I-Tul through a referral from an employee who had a familial tie with them. They were able to fix problems that my previous tech company couldn’t solve, which set the groundwork for our relationship. How much have you invested with them? Over the years, it’s been at least $200,000. What is the status of this engagement? I’ve been working with them since December 2017 and see no end in sight.  **RESULTS & FEEDBACK** What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? I appreciate that I-Tul had the foresight to create a cloud-based solution rather than a desktop application. With the new system, we’re able to scale our operations to really flourish. Our company now has offices running throughout the nation as individuals work remotely, and I’m even able to adapt to today’s challenges thanks to the solution. There are too many efficiencies built within the system to list out. They’ve really pushed the envelope to integrate our accounting software, automating nearly all aspects of the process.
