HyperSense Software worked with us to wireframe a design concept prior to our official build start. During this process, they worked hand-in-hand with our internal team to develop a product we determined ideal for our growth. Once the build process started, they worked with us to create key designs, provide their own feedback and suggestions, while also developing a framework that would allow us to manage aspects of our own website.

Throughout the build process they were excellent at communicating what updates were happening, and what was needed to ensure proper timeline deliverables. Now that the website has launched, they are also working with us on providing maintenance for the framework they built, as well as making new updates in this ever-changing environment.

As we were one of the first platforms they built with a new CMS back-end, the system is ever-changing and evolving. This did encounter some obstacles, but the team was able to clear them up quickly. We are learning together, and creating a better system for all levels of the project.

Overall, any opportunities for improvement are relatively small compared to the exceptional service and results they delivered.

My experience with Hypersense came through their Techboost program for startups. I needed help to design a very complex UI/UX for a website dedicated to planning farm operations with agricultural robotics and other advanced networked devices. While I spent a considerable amount of time in the field gathering requirements, I felt overwhelmed by the implications of designing for such a complicated scenario. Hypersense came to the rescue and delivered a beautiful UI with a clear path for the users (farmers) to explore and develop advanced automation across crops and seasons. It took a lot less time than I expected; the team was engaged and asked all the right questions from the get go. That made it easy to let go and trust the pros at the agency with design decisions. As an engineer, I am one to have my hands on every part of my work, but in this case, I found, to my relief, I could just say, “Do what you think is best”. As a result I learned a lot about my own application. 

The team did not just design wireframes - they designed elegant interactions and workflows that made sense. The UI prototype was styled as well, and the team provided terrific advice on how to upgrade the existing styles for my applications to give them better web appeal and usability. The resulting design is expressive, engaging and inspired. Hypersense provides service that was more than professional - it was personal. I came away from the work with a better sense of what I am building, how to build it, and how the application will be used. I highly recommend Hypersense and will work with them again whenever I have the opportunity.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since working with Hypersense, the application I designed has a whole new life in terms of fundraising. It was a difficult product to describe to investors, but now it has a mature UI/UX concept. The styling also really helps to project the professional intent. I can talk about the project with anyone because I have something to show; I’m not just describing the goal. This is really so critical because the software is very specialized and the market is not well known. I am now able to move forward with grant applications and investor relations with confidence.

The first meeting was for discovery - they sent me a list of questions and we discussed the requirements of the application. There were lots of really good questions and I felt immediately confident about leaving design decisions to Hypersense. By the second meeting there were wireframes and a demo of some interactivity. In the third meeting, I was presented with a styled version of the UI along with excellent recommendations on how to improve my styles to be more web friendly and modern. At every juncture, the team was open and honest about the deliverables and gave great feedback.

Additionally, Hyper-Sense designed and developed our current website, which has received excellent reviews and has been effective in driving traffic and conversions. This has further helped us gain traction with customers and investors. Both the website and the product UI/UX utilize the logo, colour scheme, and branding developed by Hyper-Sense.

Our main goal is to provide at-home, advanced genetic testing and online medical genetics consultations. For this purpose, we came to HyperSense with the request to develop an online platform that would include an e-commerce component, medical appointment scheduling, and a content management system. Further on, we will work together on developing the user account modules and, eventually, a mobile application to serve as a patient tracker of their tests.

HyperSense quickly developed a technical solution and plan for us. When we needed a swift setup for a CMS, they promptly proposed an efficient and cost-effective strategy. Marius, their lead UX, was particularly attentive to our requirements, conducting extensive research into our specialized medical field to deepen his understanding of the industry. 
Adriana, the lead web developer, was always spot on with suggestions and solutions to improve the workflows. We held regular weekly meetings to review progress and make necessary adjustments. Their estimates were incredibly accurate, making it straightforward for me to manage my budget.
